This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopping
by a J.Crew store this weekend to see
what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in
person, maybe you might be
willing to share that with us in this
post. In particular, if you could
share with us a few of the
noteworthy items that are available, at
what prices, and potential sizes
the store is carrying (as well
as the store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also,
please let us know if your local store is
carrying an additional percent
off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
P.S.
I noticed that many of
you have already been reporting sale
items (and in which stores) in
other posts which by the way "thank
you!" :) I really appreciate how
helpful we are for each other!
Wearing a perfect fit built in bra tank and the tie waist seaside pant in linen today. The tank runs TTS despite multiple reviews saying to size way up. It's fitted but I know it'll relax/stretch throughout the day. The pants are a great high rise and I love the tassels on the tie. I also like how the pants slant in towards the waist and how the elastic waist is only on the rear. I sized down in the pants (which is also my legging size) to a small. Didn't go to a retail store this week, just the factory store for a return. I did pick up the short sleeved leopard sweater to make a set with the leopard open cardigan I already owned. I love how they're 100% cotton and a larger pattern. I sized up in the sweater, but not the cardigan.
ReplyDeletehonestly, i think i need to not shop right now... it's very frustrating waiting for 2+ weeks to get items. i have no idea what kind of deal they have for shipping, but they need to get out of it. it just ain't working and they're going to lose sales over it.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be the same with Gap and other retailers.I know it is frustrating.
Deleteblame it on the pandemic.
The Gap is insane with shipping. In Canada I’m waiting a month for packages. It says they shipped but the package sits ready for pickup for weeks.
DeleteFactory has been consistently able to get my packages delivered (to Canada!) in about a week, while JCrew retail is about two weeks. Little difference from before All This. But Gap Group? Omg. I’ve only placed two orders - both took a month to get here, one got lost completely, and both eventually arrived with someone else’s order inside. Both required 3 hours waiting on hold to talk to CS, so pack your patience. No such troubles with any other retailers!
DeleteAnyone pick up anything during the flash sale? I had $10 in rewards that I wanted to use up before they disappear in the next update, so I picked up a pair of waist tie eyelet shorts and the snowy tartan bow flats. I love a pair of bow flats and I wear through flats in a season.
ReplyDeleteI picked up beauchamps linen dress in black. I already have it in red and pink; it's great dress that works casually and I can wear to the office (won't be doing that again until January) with a cardigan.
ReplyDeleteI didn’t even check my email but ended up getting a few things I was eyeing after reading this. If the shorts fall apart remind me next year when I complain again.
ReplyDeleteStraight-leg pant with surplus pockets. Item AJ43. Some terrible reviews but might be fine for a lightweight pant now that I’ll be at softball tournaments for the next few weeks,
Drapey shorts in satin faced linen AM950
Cargo short in camo L1293
Trouser short in leopard print AJ663
And a turquoise tshirt with contrast stitching.
Always tricky to know sizing. I’m typically a 00 in high waisted trouser shorts but went with a 0 for all. A little pandemic breathing room
I would totally get the satin faced shorts if they were not final sale. I’m not a shorts lover so I can’t risk it, but very excited to see them on you.
DeleteI ordered the cashmere featherweight cardigan in neon pale kiwi. I’m hoping it will be similar in color to a 2013 in a neon pale citrus. Hard to tell even with a high resolution screen. Checked with a VPS and said it appeared pretty close. A watermelon glitter tee in the factory side the other day which was less expensive than today. I’ve recently purchased most items that are on sale for less than they are today. Other than that nothing else. Will wait and see what the next launch brings. VPS said it’s been delayed and of course no previews to preorder. Quite frankly, I have enough clothes and when I shop it will be over here. Killer deals on all the high end stuff and mid priced as well.
ReplyDeleteI also wish the photo resolution was higher quality. It’s difficult to see texture. I have been eyeing these pants that I ordered (see above) but reviews re the material were so mixed. Someone in a review posted a pic and I was actually better able to see the texture in a tiny real pic there more than in the product shots.

ReplyDeleteI received the tye dye purple silk tunic from the 60% off sale. Based on reviews I sized up to M, and this was a good call. The shoulders fit me perfectly, the body is loose but drapey enough to wear untucked or tucked. The sleeves are just long enough for my long arms. A S would have been too short in the arms. This is not a tunic, but a regular length popover. The silk is heavier than some J Crew tops and a nice matte finish, not smooth like some silks. It is quite bright, the photos are true to the color.
DeleteSize up if you are borderline or prefer a loose fit.
I been looking at it.... but I guess it’s white jeans or pants! Prob to bright for work! I may get it! It’s a steal!
DeleteI’ve been eyeing it too, thank you for the review p banos.
DeleteI've been looking at that, too! Are the sleeves straight or do they flare out at all? I'm not a statement sleeve gal, even when they're subtle.
DeleteThe cuffs are a linear extension of the sleeve, they do not taper in. So they are not snug to the wrists. I wouldn't call them flared, but they are much wider than, say, a long sleeve tshirt.
