  1. Received tassel dress in confetti floral. Fit is tts; if you have a smaller bust, you may be able to size down. I saw the dress on a customer when I was making returns and thought it was super cute. The tassels are a nice touch and the cotton works well for warmer temps. My only issue is I wish the dress had pockets. I can have those added by my tailor, so I may decide to do that since the cost is reasonable.

  2. Trying to LOVE! Trying to LOVE!

I bought a pop-back item for my daughter three weeks ago--or so I thought--until I got a disappointing email last week advising that my $$ had been refunded since it turned out the item was not available for sale.

Fast forward to 5am this morning, when lo and behold I woke up to find this particular item showing in one size--my daughter's size--and just one piece available. I whipped through the checkout process, and I was relieved to arrive at the "thanks for your order" box after I completed the payment.

About an hour later it occurred to me that I hadn't received the usual confirmation email, and in fact the purchase wasn't showing in my order history. Called CS at 7am, and she wasn't seeing the order. Uh oh. She put me on hold for a few minutes to discuss it with a supervisor, and then she returned to the line to ask if it had posted to my credit card. I checked to find it had posted, and I confirmed the amount. After a very long time on hold, the CS person came back with an ambiguous and uninspiring answer: her supervisor had located the order, but we would have to wait 24 hours to see if it goes through or falls off. Huh...? Technical glitch with my payment...? Item not physically available...? She offered no further info other than I should call back if I don't get a confirmation in 24 hours.

Anyone else experienced this? What might be going on here? Am I unlikely to get the item? First world problems, I tell you...

    1. Yup, this has happened to me on items that are nearly sold out online. It takes 24 hours for the inventory system to completely refresh and update to actual inventory.

    2. Hello Eeps, and thanks for your reply. I checked throughout the day: nothing. Just at quitting time the notification came in that the order was confirmed. Took a quick peek on the site, and sure enough, it told me the order was confirmed, and I had 58 minutes to request a cancellation (?!?). Only took 12 hours to post. Weird.

  3. I received a couple of items from one of the overnight sales...
Cotton poplin perfect shirt in Liberty® Wiltshire print Item AN709 - another very nice Liberty shirt. I order my larger size 6 in these, and that is a very trim fit. Lovely fabric.
Sweater midi skirt in rainbow stripe Item AO674 - In my usual S this is a darling skirt, and I will keep it as it works well for my WFH style. If you are between sizes, I'd go with the larger as this is a bit smaller than some S.
Wide-leg sailor pant in triple dobby Item AM979 - Totally not for me. I order my usual 4. They fit, but are unfortunately clingy on my backside. That plus the thin fabric is a big no. VPL (and v other stuff).
Contrast-edge woven bag strap Item AH944 - cute colorful strap, at under $11 it was a great price. Someday I will be carrying a bag again, and not just hiding at home.

  4. A couple of absolute loves with recent purchases. The tunic in night sky block print is absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite purchases in a long, long time. Easy cotton, great length but a nice slit so as not too feel like a sack, and stunning print. I love it so much I’ve worn it 3 times in a week. That rarely happens!

Another love is the button up maxi. Again, great cotton and length and a fun color in the pink. A bit wrinkly but too be expected.

I also finally got a pop back of the color block poplin dress. I’m unsure. The fabric kinda puckers under the arm pits for me. Might try to see if a tailor can fix that. It’s stunning though and I would wear it everywhere to every party and date night. Crossing my fingers it can be fixed. Still recommend though!

A win from factory: the gingham skirt. Lovely cotton in a great deep navy gingham.

I’ve got my eye on the red block print top, blue and red block print dress (appears to not have a lining so I’ve held off but it’s darling) and the tassel dress.

  5. I've had a few order wins lately. I tried the cotton poplin maxi dress in awning stripe (which is really more like a midi dress) first in a medium (I'm an 8 up top these days, 10 on the bottom) and it was large. Reordered a small and it's really cute. I'm still not totally sure on the tie belt but I think I'm going to use another belt with it. I'm 5'8" and the length is mid calf. I also tried the tie front wide leg jumpsuit and really like it - this will be my summer jumpsuit. You do need a strapless bra with it. I got a size 10 which is my bottom size, I could have probably done an 8 but wanted a little room to breathe (hello quarantine) and the elastic around the bodice is forgiving. It has a side zip and a banded middle and ruching across the back. This has gone as low as $35 recently. Length is about an inch above my ankle so not too cropped which I like. We have a few patio dinners lined up so glad to have a few ready outfits since it's been all t-shirt dresses and elastic waist pants working from home!

  7. Received a couple of the Liberty® Wiltshire print items:

Cotton poplin perfect shirt AN709 - as @pbanos, I ordered this in my larger size (2), and the fit is slim. Beautiful, soft cotton.

Ruffle short AM961 - fits tts, ordered my usual size 0. Very cute shorts. As the one review on the item page says, the ruffle edging on the pockets does stick out a bit but that doesn't bother me. Planning to pair these shorts with the matching shirt for a romper look!

Cotton poplin tiered popover dress AP167 - runs large as per many of the reviews on the item page. I sized down from XS to XXS and can still get this on without using the side zipper. Love the silhouette, and on my 5'4" frame the hem hits a few inches below the knee. Cotton lining and pockets. One reviewer did note that this shrinks a little after washing, but as after sizing down it's still got a bit of roominess, I'm thinking any shrinkage won't affect the overall fit much.

Happy with all items, all are keepers! :)
