This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopping
by a J.Crew store this weekend to see
what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in
person, maybe you might be
willing to share that with us in this
post. In particular, if you could
share with us a few of the
noteworthy items that are available, at
what prices, and potential sizes
the store is carrying (as well
as the store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also,
please let us know if your local store is
carrying an additional percent
off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
P.S.
I noticed that many of
you have already been reporting sale
items (and in which stores) in
other posts which by the way "thank
you!" :) I really appreciate how
helpful we are for each other!
Some of the sale items do not show the right price until you add them to the cart. But if you sort by 70% off they are in the right group. So if you are interested in the shoes, the Sorell boots or flannel pjs add them to cart. The code that @mgoddy posted works on top of the 50%. If I were looking for flannel pj's the $8.50 would be good, or the $14 snow boots. The Alison Lou earrings are cute and a great price at $11.
ReplyDeleteWow, $14 for Sorels is one for the JC price error HoF!
DeleteThank you! I actually got rid of all my pajamas and am down to one pair (imagine that!), so I picked up the flannels. Also got the long cardigan in red and red tassel necklace at 12:45 am using a 15% that was emailed to me.
DeleteWent back to take another look after the boy was ready for school and picked up the tan mules for $13.xx and the black Nordic boots for $33.99.
DeleteMissed these J. Crew deals and hope to see a lot of JCAs posting what they picked up today!
Dang, I was doing well with NSM until now. Just placed an order for the plaid Sorels, V-neck cami, diagonal stripe s/s sweater and Liberty collar Tippi. Used my rewards as well since I figured I'm bound to keep something out of this batch - the prices were pretty good and at the very least I need the cami.
DeleteI bought the tan mules too.
DeleteI was hesitant but bought the tan mules. I am not much of a tan person but Audrey A La mode posted a video yesterday and mentioned tan mules for spring so I figured for the price they’re worth a shot and I’ll wear them with denim and a tan or leopard belt. The light gray one I ordered her last week still hasn’t shipped but she kept the tan shearling lined boots I got her (wasn’t sure they’d fit but they work) so I thought the tan long sweater would compliment them nicely. (She likes long sweaters and is always cold so if both ship I’ll give her both).
DeleteI was tempted by the pajamas and a few other things but really don’t need...I would have bought the brown Nordic boots if they had my size though
A whole sentence got lost. I ordered my mom the long tan sweater. Lol
Delete@Suz Has, nice that you dress your Mom. I like to do that too.
DeleteI could not resist the tan mules either. I also ordered the navy/white silk lady blouse. Since is was not final sale I figured I'd let the Mr. help decide if it worked. It did sell out, which I expected. I did manage to pass on the Point Sur jungle print pants. I like the style, but not sure how I'd like the print.
I also found 2 dress shirts for my husband at $7, plus 2 pair of socks. Oh, and a $2.50 split back tank for me at gym or whatever. I have an awful lot of tshirts, but they are all slightly different....
Ordered cashmere throw in navy since I’ve been interested in it for a while. Hope it’s something I can travel with on long flights. Also ordered a pair of men’s chinos in pine green since there were less than $6. Tempted by a few things, but decided to pass.
Delete@mygoddy, my husbands pair of those chinos arrived today. They fit him well, he always fits in the 484's. They aren't the greatest pants ever, but they are the nicest $7 pants. Perfect for him to wear to work on casual days. He'll wear them with the $4 black polo shirt that I ordered at the same time.
Delete@p banos Thanks so much for the details and feedback on the chinos. Hoping they work out. You got some nice buys for your husband, Wow!
Deletewhat is the code?
ReplyDeleteYou can go to Retailmenot and you can copy and paste on JC website or type this in dbc256517209194.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, did you happen to receive the Collection wrap skirt? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thx !
Delete@jan, Hi Jan, no it has been delayed. It will not arrive until tomorrow or Monday. Someone slipped because I see the email which stated expedited. I will let you know the minute it arrives. Feeling a little under the weather so at this point a day or two doesn’t matter.
DeleteFYI regarding the code: it showed up in my shopping cart and was subtracted from the total price in the cart, but when I hit the order button it disappeared and was no longer subtracted from the total. I e-mailed customer service, but it may be a good idea to take a screenprint before you hit the order button.
DeleteThank you Lynn! I hope you feel better, I was sick last week and it was exhausting. Feeling better now but lots of flu and colds going around. Hope you are getting some rest.
Delete@jan, thank you so very much & I do hope you are feeling much better. I wish it were a simple cold but it’s a broken heart. I lost some dear Italian friends in the Ethiopian crash. They were like family to me and just trying to figure out how to take significant care of their families. I’m at a loss right now for them as well as the other passengers families. The skirt isn’t on the priority list as I mentioned.
DeleteOh my goodness. I’m so sorry. That’s heartbreaking!!!
DeleteLynn, I’m so sorry to hear that. A terrible tragedy, thinking and praying for the families.
DeleteThank you Suz and Jan, at some point I will convey these messages of sympathy to them.It will at some point be comforting knowing people around the world are thinking of them. There were 8 Americans onboard as well. All kind, and thoughtful doing so much good. Never about them, always about others. These people are heroes to me. ❤️
DeleteLynn I am sad about the terrible loss of lives and your personal loss of beloved friends. We are so fragile.
Delete@pbanos, Thank you we certainly are. I would like to say to all a very heartfelt thank you. You’re all such a very kind hearted group. Very nice to know you even from afar. I won’t be home to review the new skirt (wrap yellow/oyster that will be arriving as I’m flying to Europe tomorrow but will have my PA try it on and let me know about the quality and fit. I am also grateful to my pilot and crew for they are the best at what they do. I mention this because they too, are hardcore JC shoppers:)I am always grateful for your genuine feedback when I question an item as well as the cheers, tears and laughs. Again, thank you so very much and hope JC’s new launch is a winner for all.
DeleteSafe travels, Lynn. Thank you to you as well for being so kind and supportive to everyone here. :)
DeleteThank you Jan😘
DeleteVery sorry for your loss, Lynn. Such a shocking and heartbreaking tragedy.
DeleteLynn, I am so sorry to hear how you were personally effected by this horrible tragedy. I pray for all the victims. Xx
DeleteLynn, sending my love and prayers.
DeleteSo sorry ☹️

ReplyDeleteJcrews code is CARDLOVE that was emailed to cardholders. Website has been intermittently been going crazy. Be sure sure to play around with all of the codes including retailmenot which has been working fine all along as the final totals may not update correctly with CARDLOVE.
ReplyDeleteI could not get cardlove to work with other code, but the retailmenot code did work. debating on getting tan mules as I don't need more shoes.

ReplyDeleteNext week there’s supposed to be a new roll out. Any sneak previews going round?
I saw some: eyelet and tweeds and also the tie waist pant that i reviewed come in atripes and in a tiger print.
DeleteAll in all it is still very basic
Are there any Atlanta JCA’s on this blog?
ReplyDeleteIf so, anybody interested in a private shopping event with me?
After my great experience with Anoki at your store, and reading all your thoughtful posts, I wish I lived in Atlanta and could go!
DeleteI wish I lived in the area, that would be fun!
DeleteThanks Ina!! Hoping for some spring like things, even though it feels more like fall here at the moment ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe! I am on the fence about the yellow Portami a Sorrento sweatshirt. I love the color but wonder if it will shrink in the wash. It Is very fitted and narrow but the next size up looks sloppy.
