I’ve never commented before, but now it’s getting bad. I placed three large orders last weekend and so far two items have been cancelled and none have shipped.
ReplyDeleteNone of my orders have shipped either. If they are cancelled I'll just save a lot of money. LOL.
DeleteI placed one order with four items on Friday morning prior to the website malfunction. One item shipped and the other three are just sitting there. Two of them were “only a few left” so I am guessing I may end up being out of luck on those. Guess we’ll see.
DeleteI placed am order on Black Friday and one on Cyber Monday. still no shipping confirmation. J Crew gets poor marks for this past weekend. site down...bewildering price increases . just an epic fail.
DeleteI placed three orders and when I checked out in red it said something about there may be a delay this busy time of year but to be patient because it would get there when "promised" blah blah blah… None of mine have shipped yet either and each was only for one item, but I'm not surprised.
DeleteI placed my first order at about 1:30 AM on Black Friday, shortly after the 50% off sale went live, and it still hasn't shipped. I would have expected that one to ship quickly, as they couldn't have received many holiday orders prior to that time. The small order I placed instore later in the morning shipped almost immediately, though, and I received it yesterday. Apparently they don't ship orders in the order received.
DeletePlaced two orders. No shipping notifications yet and in double checking one of the order confirmation emails, I noticed that two of the items were listed correctly but the little thumbnail photos next to the item description were of different items. Not feeling too confident.
DeleteI've already received 2 orders and everything has shipped. I was waiting on a few orders & received shipping confirmations this afternoon. Hope that's a good sign for everyone!

Deletewell...my online order that was returned in store and never credited back to my visa. was again...not credited back. I call ed again. seems like it was again not put through. the reason it seems having had price adj made this happen. it has taken me three times calling CS to get this sorted out.all I ever get is a "I am sorry" no offer of free shipping on next order or maybe an extra % off (as Canada gets no style guide so no coupons) It was over $200 which is why I did not forget about it..and this has happened to two other orders since sept..so I have said this before but esp now...with all the website issues of ale..check everything JCA'S .

Delete+1 on checking. I had an in store return that was processsd but never credited after 2 weeks. Called CS to follow up & that one was finally posted. Then another credit for almost $200 was also posted. I didn’t have any idea that one had not been credited. So, now I’m going through my returns to reconcile. Geez J Crew.
DeleteI placed two orders while I was away over the long weekend, and I can't believe sale is not on sale anymore. Not that much was left, but I grabbed a few things.
ReplyDeleteI only bought one new item, the embellished fair isle in black, at 50% off, and got home to a catalog with the extra 15%. So of course I'm bummed about that. I really like the plaid funnelneck tops with the crystal buttons, but that silhouette is not exactly ideal for winter layering, and eveytime I wear my black and white one my husband thinks I have my shirt on backwards.
Ha ha. My husband came to like my funnelnecks. But as you may recall I tried and failed to layer this top. I liked the plaid one too, but passed because 1. I have enough funnel neck tops, 2. I'd be cold wearing it, 3. I would not get enough wear - I shy away from 'Christmas only' items.

Ha! When I wore mine to work a colleague said I looked like I was in a straight jacket. Gee, thanks. I am very drawn to the plaid with rhinestones as well.

DeleteP banos, agreed it might not get enough wear. I have my thomas Mason Stewart plaid (I prefer the smaller scale pattern), a red tartan tuxedo top (the underarm shredded but it still works for layering). They work well under sweaters and blazers, unlike the funnelneck.
I've actually never worn it there because I didn't feel like hearing it! I have to be in the mood to wear it to my office now as it is!
DeleteI couldn’t use my birthday $25 off because it can’t be combined with other promos. I thought the birthday coupon could be used for any purchase like a gift card.
ReplyDeleteHi Jazmine - it used to be a gift card, but they changed it to a coupon. Most JCA's call CS in order to apply the $25 to their order without any trouble. They're usually happy to help.

DeleteNot a vent though by now I’m fed up with sales;-( and glad we’re back to normal today. ‘Somehow’ I ordered the Demylee sweater blazer in leopard yesterday (50% off, couldn’t resist). As it seems to run large I ordered two sizes, one size down and two sizes doen. Would love to hear your opinion if you have the Demylee sweater blazer.

DeleteI'm also glad the sales are over. It cleared out the sales section just as we wanted! I placed 5 orders since Nov 20 - the first order and one item from the second order just arrived. The rest are in "Placed" purgatory. Meanwhile, I've gotten shipping confirmations from nearly all of the other retailers I purchased from on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The most impressive was a skirt requested by my niece that was bought from a Korean store on Monday. It's due to arrive today (Wednesday!) from Korea! I dont even get that kind of fast shipment if an item was coming from JC in the next state.
ReplyDeleteI only ordered one item (a black perfect turtleneck, using my rewards just before my whole rewards program vanished). Hope it will be here by the time I get home from the hospital next week (surgery tomorrow eeeeek).
DeleteI did order from Gap on the 24th and my cute camo jacket ($17!) and Mom's sneakers ($6.50!) already arrived last night.
Any of you missing Ebates cash back postings? I had the feeling I should have received more cash back so I checked my J Crew orders. I found that for a couple of orders cash back had been tracked and then mysteriously disappeared from Ebates. So I put in a claim for missing cash back and sure enough Ebates added the cash back to my account. Not sure where it goes wrong, at J Crew or at Ebates...

Delete@eeps HTH! Same for me and it was 10% ebates then! I feel I need to set up a spreadsheet to check if my rewards and cash back is posted correctly 😬
DeleteI placed an order at the end of october ship to shore because for some reason it wasn't giving me free shipping to my house and I didn't feel like calling for a credit. Long story short, it arrived at the store and I was away and couldn't get there in time, so I called and CS told me if it wasn't picked up it would automatically be returned. We had a lengthy convo because he even applied my rewards to a different order I placed so I didn't lose them.
ReplyDeleteGoing thru old orders I realized none of these items were showing up as returned so I just called and had them look into it. Glad I caught that.
In addition, I received a 15% off code that didn't work this weekend and had to request that be taken off an order, which, it was, reluctantly.
Now I guess I'll have to check ebates.
Why does my new perfect fit turtleneck have a mercantile tag? Did I receive the wrong merchandise? Or are they downgrading the perfect fit tee line?

DeleteThey did this to me as well. I ordered a camel perfect fit tee and received one with a Mercantile tag.

DeleteCheck your online orders for accuracy. I went in to return an item and saw that one of my orders that was not yet shipped had reverted to full price - the entire order - which I had placed at half price. I called CS and they checked into it and changed it back. Said they had been having computer issues. What else can they mess up? Check everything!

DeleteSeriously. What the heck! I am also confused as to why the Factory and Madewell websites seemingly have zero issues. You would think they would all be run the same way. Don’t get me wrong I am glad they are not just odd.
DeleteI used gift cards for a J.Crew Factory order. One item was backordered. I returned other items before that backordered item was shipped. I mailed the return back and waited for a credit. Didn't get one or a return received email, had to go back and forth with CS. They said I was never charged for the order so I don't get a credit. Uh no, I need a gift card credit. Took about two weeks. Surprising that these problems exist! Keep record of everything when you return via mail!
DeleteA delayed vent but I ordered two sweaters for my trip last week and I received two emails that each item was delayed. I did get my expedited shipping fee refunded but then I received an items that one was out of stock and could I pick another color, blah. blah. Then I get ANOTHER email saying that the same sweater that was out of stock is delayed. What? I emailed CS stating I was a bit confused and they told me that the sweater indeed did ship and would be arriving later that week. Talk about inventory issues! I did order a few items with the 50% sale, I've been busy and traveling so probably the best that I haven't had much time to look and order!
