Why isn't there a good 4th of July sale? The last few years this was a great time to score great deals at J Crew. Oh well nothing I want there anyway. Anthropologie has 40% off sale, so I will stop by and skip J crew.

ReplyDeleteI’ve made an embarrassingly amount of orders over the last week. In my defense the free shipping, stackable codes, and daily sale updates are too tempting. I know I won’t keep all of it but will have a huge try on session on Thursday or Friday. Hoping for some keepers in the Cora sandals, some cover ups, a few dresses, and basic tees.
Me too. I’m ashamed of myself but not ashamed of how much money I saved! (But ashamed of how many packages are showing up daily)

DeleteI tried searching for this question but no such luck. Anyone have the Zoe leopard flats from factory and the Sloan flats? Are they pretty much the same? I love my sloans and have my eye on the Zoe from factory to add to my collection for the fall. Thanks for any insight!
ReplyDeleteSo I ordered a popback of the 2016 Ashbury flare white jeans today. Crossing my fingers...I am a curvy four and ordered the 27s. At under $15 I could not resist. Has anyone worn this style? The reviews did not mention them running small, so I am hopeful.
ReplyDeleteI have developed a thing for white pants, even though they can be hard to wear and a harder to keep clean! I have a pair of wool flannel ivory trousers - dog poo on the leg the first day. (Hooray for washable wool!) Then my white straight legs - dropped the pizza I was taking out of the oven on the first day. (Hooray for Clorox!) Then my white skinnies, I sat on chocolate on the first day. I just got a pair of white chino shorts, but have not worn them yet - wonder what I will spill on them?
Good luck! If wearing jeans in summer I only wear white ones. I love the Gap Best Girlfriend, similar body type curvy size 27--bought 4 pairs. So far so good in keeping clean.
DeleteI always use Scotch Guard on all of my white denim. It works great repelling stains and making them easier to get out.

DeleteHappy July 4th! I've been Christmas shopping with the promos and Ebates. Glad to get some nice gifts ahead of the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is enjoying the holiday. Since I had the day off I made the trip to both factory and retail to make returns and browse. The outlets in general were much busier than the mall. No retail gems in my factory store this go around. Made my retail returns and nothing caught my eye there either. Agree with others that the promos aren’t that great in store with zero off sale. Tried on the Seersucker parke blazer As the one I ordered from the online super sale arrived and was way too big. I sized up one and realistically should have sized down one. The high rise white jeans fit in the larger of my two sizes and are keepers for the price. Also placed my first Talbots order. Great promo with 50% off everything including sale. I may end up with a giant stack or returns since I am not familiar with sizing. Hopefully not. All the items I ordered were cotton and reminded me of old crew with the colors and details. Will report back in other retailers thread once the order arrives.
ReplyDeleteExpecting packages from barneyswarehouse.com, ralphlauren.com, Nordstrom.com., target.com, pottery barnteen.com, Etsy (oh, yeah, worth the time it takes to find a few good things). Also a whole bunch of, um, dubious JC stuff and some strange makeup. Forget how the makeup got in there.
