    1. Great way to start the day. Thank you, silver lining!

    2. Awesome, thanks silver_lining! They have a "vintage straight" jean and a trouser jean. I hope they've got other straight jean options/washes with the full rollout. I've been hoping they'd offer a more classic cut.

    3. Where are the new shoes? Did I miss something?

    4. I hope they’ll roll out the silk pajama top worn with the leopard coat at nyfw.

    5. Ooooo, nice surprise. Thanks, Silver-Lining!!! I spy the Teddy Coat someone asked about in a previous thread.

    6. JSR, that was my question, too! I always look forward to the shoes...

  3. Thank you so much! This made me smile. So much I want! IMO, J Crew is on the right track with this rollout.

  4. Why so many bandanas (summer trend)? Where are all the wool scarves?

  5. Thanks so much for sharing! Nothing in this one for me but I'm sure there will be things to ❤️.

    1. Hi, I saw your review on the side slit cashmere sweater. DO you truly like it as posted? Considering one. Thanks. Always appreciate your reviews.

    2. I think it's a really nice sweater & retail price is reasonable. It reminds me of Vince style & quality @ a fraction of the cost (Vince would run $450 - $500 for a comparable style @ retail). I was able to buy them during a 30% off promo and could stack with my educator's discount, so an even better deal. I haven't worn the sweater yet because it's been too warm, but I'm looking forward to cooler temps. I rarely buy multiples and I bought this one in 2 colors because I liked it so much. The persimmon color is already on sale. I will wear it alone and layered with tees or a leather jacket.

    3. Thanks so much. I have a problem too here with warm weather when I am in Florida and wearing cashmere. If I were at home in Monaco it wouldn't be any problem. I thought I would try the black and perhaps blue. Wish they had a navy. Curious what store do you shop at? Thanks.

    4. Meant to add my store here in Florida doesn't carry the entire cashmere line which is why I asked

  6. thanks ...sadly nothing for me..

  7. Thanks for posting but nothing for me either. Everything I did like and clicked on had the nylon, acrylic content to it and I just won't purchase that blend.

    1. Right? If I wanted those blends Id go to Zara or H&M. SMH J.Crew.
Unfortunate that green tweed coat has those blends.

    2. Just went back to check the fabric content of the Harlow cardigans in the new releases section. Says merino/acrylic. Um, no thanks. I had my eye on the velvet trimmed one but not paying that price for a blend. 100% merino or nothing. You'll notice that the sweaters for men do NOT contain acrylic, both at J Crew and Factory!!!

    3. @JSR I was also sad to see that pretty green tweed coat was a horrible fabric content. I remember purchasing sweaters with acrylic in them back when I did not make as much money and all I recall is they were a pilling mess almost immediately. @shopalot I also don't understand why the men's sweaters can remain 100% wool while woman's do not. So frustrating.

    5. Echoing comments about the "pretty green coat". It caught my eye, I read the description, then sighed. Moving on.

  8. Nothing for me but keeping my fingers crossed for some new shoe-beauties and purse-love! Hopeful that there is more to this rollout on the 16th...

    1. Does anyone know if there is an additional discount in the store for sale items?
      Thanks.... kate

    2. The store signage (Michigan Ave./Chicago) today said 30% off your purchase. When I asked at the register, I was told the 30% discount was only for full priced merchandise.

  9. I assumed the Harlow Cardi with Velvet trim would be dry clean, but it's machine wash. Love it!

The practical side of me says I don't need another coat - and I should stick with grey or navy. But, wow, I love the Pink Parka, Textured Teddy and Daphne Italian Tweed coats.

I also like the Striped Turtleneck dress and the silver options in the Simple collar necklace and stretch bracelet. We just don't get silver jewelry very often.

  10. I was hoping for some cords but do not see any (yet?). From the items I see I will definitely get the rose print t-shirt and I might get v-neck sweater if reviews are good. I think that Daphne coat looks gorgeous but not sure I would wear it enough since lightweight coat season is very short were I live. Coats take too much closet space to have too many.
Atelier & Repairs X J.Crew army pants on the other hand are a bit too much for my taste. I cannot imagine a lady looking good in those.

  11. Nothing for me either! I feel like the JCrew designers are just mailing it in...jslapping ruffles, belle sleeves or velvet on everything...nothing new or interesting. I'm not into the faux fur coats either...so that doesn't leave much. Like some else asked what is up with all the bandanas? Where is the color and beautiful fall appropriate prints? Glad others are finding things but I continue to have no luck.

    1. wonder who came up with the name...'the going out blazer'. gee that one was hard! jcrew is just making itself look worse and worse...

  12. Thanks, silver_lining! Happy to see return of peacoat! But those collaborations are puzzling - what were they thinking? the Drakes print (b)+(/b) NB stretchy fabric (b)+ (/b)inimitable JC touches (b)≠(/b) Poetry in Motion. And my first thought upon seeing the seasonally appropriate scarecrow outfit was — Scary Harvest Festival somewhere in very rural England.

  13. It's been such a warm, summer-like fall that I haven't had a chance to wear my Factory version of the downtown field jacket until today. It's the reddish-orange that was out this spring, but I love it for fall, a perfect way to brighten up an otherwise muted jeans/sweater combo.

  14. A few things I find interesting, the embellished cable sweater, the tiered bell sleeve top in drapery crepe (which I'm assuming is poly but it doesn't say). I'm sure there will be other items too.

    1. I am intrigued by the embellished cable too but I wish the neck was more of a full turtleneck, the neck looks a little wimpy. They've rehashed the grey polka dot cashmere sweater and I like the paisley floral print but the blouse looks like it might be wide in the body. I also like the look of the V-neck sheath dress . I was hoping for more coat options/colors, not loving what I'm seeing.

Hoping we'll see more with the official rollout.

    2. I was thinking that neck might look nice not folded down, or the way it's slightly open might make it ideal to wear a tissue turtleneck underneath which I started doing last winter and loved. So much less itchy than the wool.

  15. Saw a copy of the entire New catalogue in store the other day and took one home. Nothing impressed me unfortunately. First time ever I don't think I will be purchasing anything. New cashmere color sweater in Magenta and a green. I always loved Jcrew cashmere have about 60 of them from when they began selling years ago. Always beautiful colors. I pass now. One off topic note about Everlane. Purchased a pair of their day shoe with block heel. Fabulous quality and cushioning. They didn't skimp and can wear these all day. Size up they run small even on my narrow heel Medium width feet. Hope Jcrew is watching this and takes note. Please note this is just my humble opinion.
