Will you be taking advantage of this promotion at J.Crew? What J.Crew item(s) are you hoping to pick up? Please share!
Off topic because it (sadly!) wasn't on promo, but I ordered the collection standing collar leather jacket (in the navy). On the one hand, that's a lot of money at full price. On the other, great reviews, and a really top quality leather jacket from various designers comes in at twice the price.
ReplyDeleteSo fingers crossed that I love it. I'm trying to be more "intentional" about my purchases. Fewer things, things I really love, no more "just because it is on sale" purchasing.
OT: Check out my J. Crew NYFW Recap, Part 2 Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know how I access the additional 50% off sale items referenced? I only got 40% of my final sale purchases and was told the 50% was for special sale items???
ReplyDelete@ Roxanne, I think the 50% off Final Sale was going on this past weekend because I don't see it in their current promotion listed above or on their website anymore. Last week they had a tab under 'Sale' that listed all of the 50% items (when you go to Category, for instance), but I don't see it on there anymore. :-(
DeleteKeep your eyes peeled. November Style Guide on Pinterest will upload soon! Cannot wait to see the images.
ReplyDeleteIt says merchandise will launch Tuesday, the 20th.

DeleteThe gray excursion vest is finally included in a promo!!! Thank goodness. I picked it up in my usual extra small. I know have all the vests I need until...they make another color I can't resist. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy so long for new arrivals? I think it's been since the beginning of Sept! Is something going on??
ReplyDeleteFive weeks is long since the last big roll-out. It usually takes jcrew four weeks,,
DeleteUsually there is a rollout every TWO weeks!
DeleteWas interested in wool houndstooth pencil skirt from recent roll out and it's now on sale. Size 8 finally popped back, so bought it. Also, ordered featherweight cashmere Henley and a couple of tees (dog linen & kiss). Nothing was final sale, despite extra % off, so glad to be able to try and see what I love. Hope all of it works since the casual items will be great for weekends and travel; the pencil skirt will go with lots of options in my closet. Was given the style guide this weekend, without asking, and there's a beautiful A-line midi skirt in suede. It's a collection item, so it's pricey of course, but looks great. Don't know about the slit; that's a major concern for me. Also like the looks of the Elsie Printed D'orsay Snakeskin pumps. Hope the stores carry this, so I can try on. If they fit, this is something I'd be willing to pay fp. The new print in violet poppy is pretty. Style guide only shows crop pants and a mini skirt which I wouldn't be interested in for fall/winter; curious to know what it may look like in a skirt. For tippi fans, there's a leopard print that's paired with a very cool faux leather pleated midi in spiced raisin....this skirt looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteLucky you got a style guide already.
DeleteI hope that suede skirt you are talking about will be offered in other colors and a more affordable option. I have been eyeing that skirt since their runway show back I February. It would be very disappointing if they only it made it in suede.
I also am interested in the leopard print Tippi. Already have an outfit in mind to pair it with. Hope it's not thin like that polka dot Tippi.
@JSR, hard to tell from the photo, but the tippi didn't look sheer and because the print is busier, I don't think it will be an issue. I'd love to see that skirt in other options besides suede too.
DeleteI saw the suede skirt in the Collection store a few weeks ago and it is beautiful!
