ReplyDeleteVisited yesterday. Sale items were an extra 40% off. I got the Lucie Mirror Metallic Slingback Flats (scroll down), which were on sale minus 40%, and came to about $90.

ReplyDeleteMust admit, I had to laugh at the email from J Crew this morning. "OK, it's really, truly, actually sunny out. Sandal shopping's a go". We got about a foot and half of snow yesterday and it is still coming down. I am wearing snow boots, hat, gloves and a down coat LOL.

DeleteJruby18, that sounds about right. Mine were $59.99 with 40% discount. Then my store was running an additional 20% off that Friday for Mother's Day. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI do have, however, a rather significant rewards card, and since I hate having merchandise cards sitting around at risk of getting lost, I used it today to buy some of the freshwater pearl jewelry, which is on promo right now with SOGOOD. The pearl jewelry rarely if ever goes on sale, so I'm pretty certain I won't have buyer's regret two weeks later when it gets marked down. I know I shouldn't be buying real jewelry at JC but I do already have the four strand pearl necklace and really like it and wear it a lot...

ReplyDeleteI ordered my first and they ripped at the seam in the crotch area. They are not as well made as the cafe capri from a few years ago. The upside is that they do have a higher rise.
DeleteCmg - This happened to me as well with the campbell capris. I was so disappointed. I own at least a dozen pair of cafe capris and never had that problem with those pants.
