I love my Kiki Suede Studded-Heel Ballet Flats. I have the warm fig and the black ones and received many compliments on them.
ReplyDeleteRose, I have the Kiki studded heels in black and love them, but I have to watch the way I walk. I have nicked myself a few times and it really hurt!
DeleteLove the fact that there is free ship/returns on swim. I really think JCREW needs to offer this all the time. At least for cardholders or even for VIP or Luxe members like Banana Republic.
ReplyDeleteAlso - very happy with the swimwear offerings in Long torso and the prints are very stylish - not what you normally see at the pool. I love pairing a one piece with board shorts for a stylish mom pool outfit. I have 4 kids and need something that is modest and stylish and that combo is hard to find!
I'm loving Madewell lately (what? it's technically part of JCrew, lol) -- wearing my Bridgeview pullover and ponte swivel skirt right now. With sneakers, of course.
ReplyDeleteAlso loving Madewell lately! I picked up three sweaters during the sale last weekend. I'm obsessed with all of them. What color is your skirt? I have the same one in red. :)

Ordered the antique floral merino sweater a few weeks ago but received the dreaded cancellation email a few days later. Later in the day received a phone call from J.Crew. They would search for the item throughout the day and call me back later. I received a call the next morning. Unfortunately it's sold out but they would search their stores during the week and call me back in 5-7 days. I thought this was unusual. Several days later I received a call. They found the sweater and would ship it to me. I received it yesterday, and it's in excellent condition!
ReplyDeleteThank you JCA community for sharing the info the other day on the super great sale price on the Lace Sleeve Top (ahem, price mistake). Just got mine in the mail yesterday and I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI just got mine too. Such a good deal. I ordered both colors, and I'm keeping the white one. I can't get past the fact that the navy one is two different shades of navy on the body and sleeves. I know, its really nick picking a $12 shirt, but I know it will sit in my closet, so back it goes.
Delete"Nit picking" Sorry, long day.
DeleteTeacherStyle - The sleeves are poly & the body is cotton, so that's the reason for the color difference. I hear you if you won't wear it. Not worth $12 in that case.
DeleteTeacherStyle, I noticed that too. I'm returning the navy. The ivory is fine except for my issue with the scratchy sleeves. :)
DeleteI found the sleeves to be scratchy as well. I know I'd never end up wearing it because I found them almost painful, so I returned it. Bummer, because it was a cute shape and I liked the ponte. If they made a solid-sleeve version of this top I would definitely pick one up.
DeleteReview of new arrivals on my blog here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reviews. So helpful!
DeleteI found a lonely pair of Martina"s in my size ( in thistle) at my store and they cost $60 after the 40% !
