J.Crew Video: Daddy Day {adorableness!}
"Thanks!" to audball (in this post) who shared the following video with us.
The video features a crewcuts wearing daughter being doted on by her J.Crew loving dad. It's so charming, you can't help but watch the video a few times and smile. Cute, cute, cute! And the tag line "everyday is a special occasion" is a fantastic message.
What are your thoughts on the video? Do you like the concept? Would you like to see more of these videos from J.Crew?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out, Alexis....I loved the vid and thought it was very sweet :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I just noticed that it looks like the little girl is carrying a JCrew shopping bag in the last scene :D
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy DD has this similar dress with the bubble bottom in silk and she absolutely loves it. So cute, but when I washed it inside out in a garment bag the ruffle flower (attached to the chest) made out of various ribbons began to unravel. Should I take it back? Arrgh, I hate unfinished edges!
Incredibly sweet! Love the concept, the music, that daddy is pretty nice too ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI believe this video was shot in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.
ReplyDeleteYou said it .....ADORABLE.
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn rocks.
After watching the J. Crew Paris video every single day for my daily intoxicating mood lifter (it was nothing short of a drug) in August 2007, yes, I would love to see more J. Crew videos!
I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this vid! A much better way to look at JC. Happy, healthy looking, fun loving folks who smile and aren't wearing every trend available at once. And the girl holding the JC bag at the end is a cute touch, just the right amount of "ad."
ReplyDeletejcrewphd, if you decide not to take the dress back, you can trim off the unravelled pieces and treat the edges with Fray Check. Many JCAs recommended this for the ends of the grosgrain ribbon necklaces when I asked a few months back, and now I use it frequently. Thanks again to everyone who mentioned that! Also, my DD has a bubble hem silk skirt and that is the wrinkliest thing I've ever dealt with. I love that look for the little girls, but this particular skirt is driving me nuts. Anyone else having problems with this?
CheesyGoodness: I had good luck hanging the skirt in a steamy bathroom, post-bath or -shower. But I tell DD that wrinkles are part of the charm :D...
ReplyDeleteThanks Audball! I'll use both the steam and the "charm" line!
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteI am a little worried though that this 4-year old was allowed to answer the door. Hah!
So incredibly adorable! I wonder if they will ever have TV commercials?
ReplyDeleteI try to avoid drycleanable items for the kids at all times, and I def wouldn't let them go down a slide in them hahaha!
Very cute! Thanks for posting, Alexis!
