Happy New Year J.Crew Aficionadas!
I want to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful new year! {yey!} I look forward to celebrating the up-coming J.Crew collections with you all. :)
As usual, this post is to find out what everyone is planning to wear tonight. I know I have mentioned this before, but I also really enjoy these posts. I find it interesting to see how other Aficionadas and Aficionados style certain pieces, providing me wonderful ideas for future outfits. :) So for this post, what we are planning to wear during New Years Eve and/or New Years Day? :)
What are you planning to wear this New Year (Eve or Day)? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?
I'm going to break out my glitter Gemma flats for the first time. We are having family and friends for a casual night of celebration. So, these will jazz up my boyfriend jeans. Not sure what sweater or blouse combo I'll wear, but it'll likely be Crew too!! Happy 2017 JCAs!!!
ReplyDeleteJust staying in tonight with my little ones and hubby so I'm dressed casual- boy shirt in fiery sunset Buffalo check and lookout jeans. I just bought this shirt and really love how comfy it is. I added a blingy jcrew necklace for fun. :) happy new year everyone!
ReplyDeleteHeaded to a more casual party at our neighbors doing silver glitter gemma's, lace and tweed tank in ivory and gray jeans. Will throw a cardi over it.
ReplyDeleteHaven't figured out what I'm wearing yet, but Happy New Year to all!
ReplyDeleteHusband and I are staying in and celebrating at home, not sure on the level of J Crewness of my outfit (confession, my lounge wear is mostly Old Navy /Gapπ³) Nonetheless, Happy New Year to all the JCAs, wishing you all a fabulous 2017!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, πΎπ₯JCAs, and many thanks to Alexis for providing this wonderful space!
ReplyDeletePer local tradition, will be home watching Casablanca...
Happy New Year Alexis and all the JCAs who participate in making this blog the absolute best!!!! Home tonight with a fire in the fireplace, a glass of wine and some great TV movies. Looking forward to a Wonderful 2017!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to everyone! Wishing all of the JCA's an awesome NYE and wonderful start to 2017! Love being a part of this wonderful community. Quiet NYE for me. Watching the 2nd of the NCAA playoff games with my son. Had errands to run so wore J Crew Italian cashmere hoodie in cabernet and London tee layered with 10% cashmere long sleeve stripe tee shirt in black/ivory. Will wear J Crew tomorrow for church. Collection zip front black leather shirt and Collection sleeveless leather jumpsuit. They're both loves from last year.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing my sequin party top with grosgrain ties, skinny denim(CoH) and my Dulcis. We are staying home, enjoying take out and some bubbly!!! Happy New year to all the JCA's.
ReplyDeletePic of the top in my IG! Highly recommend it!!!
DeleteStaying in tonight - boyfriend shirt in navy Rockport plaid, red/navy Fair Isle print cotton leggings from Gap, shawl-collar long cable cardigan sweater, and lodge moccasins. Happy New Year, JCA's!
ReplyDeleteDinner with the hubby in blue grosgrain sequin side stripe top from a couple years ago with blacK leather leggings and black suede pumps. Happy NY everyone!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year everyone! Wishing your 2017 with Happiness, Health, and Prosperity. ππ
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year everyone! I did wear head-to-toe J.Crew - but nothing new. Just a hunter green pair of bootcut (!) cords and a mustard yellow pullover - both of which cost me less than $30 in 2010, are in heavy rotation each winter, and still look brand new.
ReplyDeleteI stopped into J.Crew on my way out to meet up with friends - the Copley store sale section is amazing, especially for shoes. Thought about buying the windowpane silk-twill dress but they didn't have my size and I didn't want to order it final sale (it's not final sale online). I ended up ordering it with my rewards card and paying $5 shipping - grand total was $39.99. Hopefully it's a winner but I never have luck with J.Crew dresses - always too big in the chest for me.
I kept it pretty simple. Wore my shrunken black wool turtleneck from last year with the black double serge mini and my new Sophia pumps in Sequin and some sparkly jewels—some new and some old. Posted on IG (before I put on all my bracelets). @wearthislikethis. Those Sophia pumps are comfortable! I was on my feet for about 6 hours and didn't take them off.
ReplyDeleteA friend took pity on me at the last minute, since I was alone for New Years, and invited me over for drinks and appetizers. I wore few Jcrew pieces: patio pant in evergreen jacquard & the Parisian necklace. I paired them with a black turtleneck, black d'orsay flats and a Tory Burch cross body bag. I posted this look on my Instagram @shoppingcelle I was home in bed with my pups wearing pjs to watch the ball drop on TV. Wishing all my friends in this wonderful community the happiest of New Year's and looking forward to more fabulous fashions in 2017!
ReplyDeleteWore my metallic linen tee and lookout high rise jeans in Japanese wash. I traded out my cardigan for a camel school boy blazer and wore my metallic gemmas. Went cosmic bowling with some friends and realized the linen tee is see through in black lights π³π
ReplyDeletehmm. current promo ends tonight. ant thoughts? will final sale be back? will there be a much needed update to the sale section? share your thoughts? I am hoping for at least an update to sale...
ReplyDeleteHi unknown, I think the canadian promo ends tonight but the US promo goes til Jan. 4. I def expect final sale to show up soon. Maybe Jcrew heard us from previous complaints and gave everyone some time after Christmas to use gift cards without final sale. I'm not sure how much longer we'll get without final sale. :)
DeleteI wore the Madewell metallic striped cami and Madewell black coated skinny jeans. The top is a steal right now at about $30 - I definitely recommend it.
