Basically this is the same promotion we have been seeing for awhile. No complaints as I personally like it. :)

  1. Yesterday I managed to snag a popback of the Fair Isle Tippi in Heather Pewter in XS. With the sale price, the extra percentage off, and a gift card I received as an early Christmas gift, it was a steal. Merry Christmas to me! Now I need to purge a sweater from my closet (trying very hard to stick to the one-in-one-out rule!).

  2. Went to Factory this weekend. Found the very last mini skirt in christmas plaid on the clearance rack...To give you an idea of the exact skirt, it has the elastic wait and was called city mini when they sold in retail... I was so lucky this plaid skirt was my size and was an amazing deal at $16.99. I wish retail still made this skirt style it is the most flattering looking.

  3. Couldn't sleep and was rewarded with a pop back in the Bright Butternut Lady Day coat in my size -- fingers crossed it ships! A nice present for me :)

  4. Please forgive the OT post, but one of my favorite small brands has a pop up in select BR stores, and BR is running 40% off with no exclusions today (meaning it works on the jewelry, too). The brand is Odette NY. Their site appears to be down, but you can find some pieces by googling. A few pieces it looks like BR is carrying are the Metis cuff, Dea necklace, and Amuletum necklace. Some stores that have the jewelry are Michigan Ave, Chicago, Aventura Mall in FL, and San Fran. HTH someone!

  5. I couldn't help myself, ordered the midi metallic pleated skirt in gold. It's such a different look than I'm used to but I love it in pics—and the fact that it looks so much like pics of the Gucci one Alexa Chung wears doesn't hurt. I ordered the smaller of my two sizes (based on availability, but then my larger size popped back). I called customer service for specific measurements and it seems that smaller size should work on my (small) waist. The length should be right below my knee so not true midi but maybe a more flattering length for me anyway.

Also ordered the Rhodes in donegal wool with black satin trim. I'm a sucker for this style. Gets bad reviews but it's not final sale.

Lastly, for $30 ordered the Ava ballet flats in black with the white bow. My old suede flats (from jcrew, I forget the style but they are edged in gold) have stretched out and barely stay on me feet, as much as I love them. Hope these work. I'm considering the pale pink because I love that color with black trim.
