  1. Looks like no final sale & prices didn't bounce back up overnight, yay! I ordered the mockneck top; could be a winner if it's not too boxy.

  2. Hi JCA's! Dropping a few Madewell reviews here...

Shawl-collar rib cardigan sweater (e3186) - I cannot believe this made it to 50% off in almost a full size run on both colors. I ordered the tan version last year and love it. TTS, slightly slouchy but not enough to size down, thick 100% merino. I've been wearing the black one instead of a coat this fall. If you like this style of sweater, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try (especially since it's not final sale!).

Madewell x Sorel 1964 Premium boots (e2850) - I've been eyeing these and wanted to give them a try. I'm a solid 9 in JC and MW shoes. The 9's in these felt a little too bulky, but no half sizes are available. However, there are half sizes on these Sorels on Zappos. I'm looking for a waterproof boot that is higher than a sneaker, but that I can also drive in and these aren't quite what I want. They hit me right at mid-calf and the leather is so stiff that when I flex my foot it digs into my calf. I'd say these would be great for trudging through the snow but no so much for driving. Also, it's hard to tell from the photos but the tongue of the boot is canvas, not leather. I wish these had worked because they are really cute and I think they'd be warm.
