Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Bring on spring…so over looking at sweaters i don't care what price point they are.

  2. So were the US stores stacking (20% off sale + 30% off) or it is just the Canadian store? I am going to go in for price adjustments so I would like to know what to ask for. TIA!

    1. The one at Park Meadows Mall in Colorado was. I don't think it was consistent across all stores though.

    4. North Ave in Chicago was not stacking as of Friday and sale was only 30% off. I didn't even bother asking for 40% online match.

    5. Asked and was denied online 40% off match at Oakbrook, IL on Friday night. Got studded Ceces for about $40 so I'm not complaining!

    6. Cherry creek, co last night was stacking 20%, then 30% but that made it final sale. Not my experience at Park Meadows on Friday. So I did not buy.

    7. Thank you ladies. Went to Rockfeller Center and Madison Avenue and they werent't stacking but would apply the 40% off if asked. They were very nice about the price adjustments at Rockfeller (which BTW had a much bigger sale selection than Madison). The statement stone fringe necklace in natural was marked down to $69.99 and the dazzling peeble necklace was in the sale section too (I didn't note the price). The star earrings are $49.99 (bracelet is $29.99 and necklace still $69.99). HTH!

  3. Has anyone seen the following Sabrina (06286) coat colors: celery or neon papaya? How neon is that neon? Is the celery color closer to mint or a more subdued pale green?

    1. Hi st: Here's the link from JCA's review:

      http://jcrewaficionada.blogspot.com/2013/09/jcrew-reviews-straight-from-jcas_24.html

There are a few reviews for the Sabrina coat, for colors and size.

I ordered the Sabrina in navy, and it's arriving today. I hope I like it! :)

    2. I have the Sabrina in the mint and it's a beautiful true mint color. My favorite coat. I also have the navy, but haven't worn it yet. The mint Sabrina looks so great with bright pink.

  4. Portland was 30%, no stacking. Very full sale section- managed to get black watch plaid boy shirt & Peter Pan collar dress. Just didn't feel like combing through everything else...

  9. I stopped by the SF Centre store after work. It was busy, but (unlike the Zara a few doors down) not crazy. There seemed to be more items marked down and second markdowns. I picked up the J Crew Etta Studded Heel Pumps in Pink (item 03637) for $129.99 (before discount) and the Darby Glitter Loafers in Navy (item 03674) for $99.99 (before discount). Both were surprise loves in store. The sequin darbys were $99.99 as well. I wanted to take them home, but my OCD nature wouldn't let me as the sequins weren't all laying flat in the same direction. Sigh....

    1. Hi Mel. I am looking for the Etta in a 7H. Can you tell me where this store is located so I can give them a call? Thanks so much!
