J.Crew Final Sale {100 New Styles}

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know the following news from this morning.

J.Crew has a nice update to their Final Sale (click here to shop online) section online this morning. Lots of merchandise for everyone.

J.Crew also sent out an email letting us know that 100 new styles were added to the sale section. Yey! Great timing to use with the the additional 40% off all sale items (no min) with promo code SHOPHAPPY. This code expires January 7, 2013.

Did you check out the Sale section today? Were you able to snag any amazing deals? If so, please share! :)

  1. I snagged the best deal...I saved 100% by not shopping Final Sale! ; )

    Seriously, FS should be reserved for super-slashed stuff from last season (Hawaiian prints, etc.). Not for winter coats and online only items on first markdown. Well, it must work for JC.

    1. Lol! Smart girl! I bit on the Navy Darby loafers today (not marked Final Sale). I tried the Factory Addie loafers but they didn't feel as good on my feet as the Darby loafers.

  2. Drats. The Sabrina coat in the dark camel is now FS. I've had it sitting in my cart for a few days. I guess this is a sign that I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER COAT!

    1. Nah, I think it's a sign that you should order the Sabrina coat in a non-final-sale color to try on for size, return it, then order the color you want from final sale :)

  6. I have my eye on one item, but it seems to be in good supply, so I am holding out to see if we get a no-minimum free-ship addition for NYD. Happy new year!

  13. I stopped by my B&M today to return some items :
    1. Etta suede studded pumps in black & warm fig (it's grey) - I know there's been conversation on this blog about the studs ruining the aesthetic of the shoes, but the very square bow was the issue for me. Size was tts for the Ettas in general (I wear 7.5 in this style).
    2. Everly suede pumps in black & warm fig. I'm still having issues with the fit of the new rollout of the Everlys. I got size 7 in the black & it was snug. Given that my feet have the tendency to swell, I had to pass. I bought the warm fig in 7.5 and it's very roomy (fits more like size 8 of the suede Everlys from last year). Given that I decided to keep the pink pair to be worn with double foot padding, I decided to pass.
    3. Eaton boy trousers - it's not lined. The pants drape well because the wool is thin, but depending on the color, panty lines would be an issue. I prefer the wool cafe capris.
    4. Pleated stretch flannel dress - tts but there is something off about the stitching in the skirt portion; it hugs the hips and then falls into an odd a-line. Maybe it's because my body type is straight vs. curvy.

    Bought: Martina wedges in metallic blush. Thanks to Gigi's price updates, I asked about the $129.99 price. They did not have the sale price on them and I almost passed on them. Sale section was very picked over.

  15. OT - I am searching for a Wintress puffer in black, size S. Has anyone seen it?

    I have a store search going but so far no luck, and I was told they are backlogged because of the holiday so I'm afraid even if a store has one they will sell it before the search goes through. I was hoping someone might have seen one in their local store. Please help!!
