I just got off the phone with Talbots complaining about a couple things:
ReplyDelete1. Ordered the Belle Floral-print jersey top, the description says rayon, acrylic, nylon & wool. The actual garment arrived and the fabric label says 55% cotton, 37% modal & 8% spandex. I like the print so I am keeping it - but it's a bit of false advertising.
2. Tried to order the Stand V-neck top in XS online, it shows it's available but when I tried to add one to shopping bag, it says "the quantity you order is unavailable". Customer service checked inventory and said it's actually available, so she placed the order via phone and applied the 50% off.
Seems like their webmaster has some catching up to do!

Dina, how good is the quality of Pure Collection cashmere? Are their shipping fees decent?

- At least business casual-worthy. Biz formal is even better.
- Long enough to look ok with a pencil skirt
- Large enough (if I sized up) to go over a suit blazer
- SUPER WARM. Think Chicago winter.
Also great if it's less expensive than a J.Crew Stadium cloth coat, haha.

ReplyDeleteCan anyone comment on the fit of Rugby Ralph Lauren? I am looking specifically at the Solid Skinny Chapman Shirt. I am generally a 0 or 2 in J. Crew shirts and am wondering if I would be a 4 or a 6 in the Rugby shirt. TIA!

Recently, a Saks Off 5th store opened in my neck of the woods and I decided to venture there on Boxing day. I picked up a beautiful designer looking cable knit cashmere dress from their own store line. The cashmere feels soft, nary an itch (even though I have a slight allergy to the fiber) and doesn't look to be too pill prone. Has anyone purchased their cashmere before? I would love to hear how it holds up over time.
