ReplyDeleteI bought the Nicky top this morning. I wish I had woken up earlier because the excursion vest seems to have popped back in Kelly green! Unfortunately I had work until 2:00 AM and waking up early was not even an option.

I guess I'm in the same boat as many of you, hoping for an Excursion Vest re-stock or popback. Imagine that: puffer vests selling really well in the Fall/Winter while all of those pastel shirts from recent rollouts languish in the sale section....

ReplyDeleteA super nice VPS named Lauren is searching stores for an Excursion Vest in green for me. I can't seem to hit it when it pops back up and that color seems to be online only. I'm hoping she can find me one! I didn't think I needed another vest....but I've been wearing my others almost everytime I leave the house and I really love that green color. On another note, I found a J. Crew fine wool tailored jacket (most likely from suiting) in a gray small twill plaid today at the Goodwill for $9.99! Yah!
ReplyDeleteI hope she can help you find one! Otherwise it's been my experience that the vests pop back around 4:30 a.m. central time (I'm up the early to exercise before work). That's during the week. Weekends it seems to be around 5:00. Hope the helps! Fingers crossed for you -- that color is lovely.

I did finally find a garland Tippi sweater in my size...I should have bought it earlier, but I didn't think I needed ANOTHER Tippi sweater...ha! But I guess I'm having a "green" moment!
ReplyDeleteStraycat, I was also put on a Wish List by a VPS when I was hunting around for the vest in warm bisque. She told me if there was a pop back they'd scoop it up for me. But I'm guessing that is not an automated system... Hence that is why I found the vest on my own as a pop back without someone "scooping it up for me," as promised. (kind of annoying, don't you think?) I have seen the green vest every morning I've checked for the bisque color, so I have high hopes it will pop back (depending on what size you're looking for). What other colors do you have? I also bought the herringbone one when I thought I wouldn't be able to find the bisque, but I think I'm gonna keep them both (despite my initial promise to myself to only buy one). I can't resist!

After the promo and a $20 gift card J.Crew sent me (after I called and complained that Factory shipped me the wrong pair of pants and sold out of the correct pair in the meantime), the skirt was $85. Still on the high end of what I like to pay for a skirt, but this one has been on my wishlist for months.
