This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.
So
if you have recently purchased,
or stopped by a J.Crew store to try
on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you
might be willing to share that
information with us in this post.
Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.
In
particular, if you could
mention a few of the noteworthy
details like fit, size, fabric, and the
like— that would be fantastic! Thanks
in advance! :)
40% off online and in stores, not final sale, and free shipping as of 2:05 AM this morning with lots of popbacks. Black Friday just officially started for JCA's!! :)
ReplyDeleteI spent 4x my budget - but bought everything in multiple sizes 'cause with this sale im not taking my chances that ANYTHING will be left in 48 hours. Im so happy. Very very few items excluded at 1:34am cental.
DeleteYes, I agree. Buy it now if you want it because it could sell out or be excluded later on. It looks like everything in the new roll out is included but anything that was excluded from the last promo is still excluded (like the signet bag, 3rd party items, etc...). Happy shopping!
DeleteAlso, Madewell is offering 25% off your purchase (I'm sure their are some exclusions).
DeleteAgree with Niki - I ordered two sizes of several items as I don't want to take chances that things will sell out! I bought several of the tortoise clamp bracelets - great gifts coming in at under $15 a pop!

DeletePlus, Ebates is at 10%.
DeleteOrdered the new plaid wool Marties & a random popback sweater. $100 + 10% Ebates? Yes please!
DeleteNo luck on any popbacks for me, but thanks for pointing out the 10% Ebates bonus. If you use their mobile app, it's 11%!
DeleteMajor sales update ~2,300 items at 6am ET. Ebates is 11% if using mobile
ReplyDeleteI preordered the Quilted Lady Jacket in Stewart Plaid. It is TINY. I can wear a 000, a 00 and I ordered the 00. It is VERY tight across the bust, the upper arms. A lot of people won't be able to wear this. I am sending it back and HOPING that a 0 will fit. It also may be too small. The sizing is really off on this one.
ReplyDeleteIt'seems tts for me (and I am kind of busty), maybe you got a fluke?
DeleteI am thin. No bust. It is very tight on me across the chest and in the arms. It fits everywhere else. I am 5'3 100 pounds and fit. It won't work on a lot of people.
DeleteAnyone have any comments on the A-line dress in double-serge wool? I'm thinking about going out of my comfort zone and ordering the winter white. This summer's A-line matelasse dress fit well so fingers crossed it's the same cut.
ReplyDeleteI tried it on Sunday. It's very nice, heavier wool, lined. It runs TTS. I will need to wear a spanx, at least for the white. I liked it a lot. It's nicer than the online photos. I want the lilac color. HTH
DeleteThank you!
DeleteReviews of the new arrivals including all the Stewart plaid items on my IG (crazyaboutjcrew). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this! I'd ordered the Martie pant in my normal (cotton) Martie size this morning so I just emailed CS to see if I could swap them with the next size up... hopefully it's a go!
DeleteYes, thank you Ema for reviewing new arrivals!
DeleteDoes anyone know how the new steward plaid perfect shirt compares to old stewart plaid perfects shirt? I have the old one, and find the colors a bit muted for my taste. I'm wondering if the new offering is brighter.
ReplyDeleteLilyBart, I don't have the older Stewart plaid but I have read here that some people think the current one is brighter/more saturated. I bought the perfect shirt last year and really like it!
DeleteLilyBart, I have the original (oldest version) and last years Stewart plaid shirt. Last years is def brighter than my old one. I too was finding my old one a bit muted, last years had more saturated colours in it. Side by side in my closet the color difference is noticeable. Hth
DeleteI have pics of the old and new one on my IG @lilybart
