Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

    Anyone looked at the website today? If I put a FS item in my cart, red text below it says "30% off select styles and extra 50% off final sale styles" but the FS items in my cart are only coming up 30% off. Oh well, I should't even be contemplating FS anyway. :P

      Yeah - it's been that way since last week. Really frustrating since I was about to order a pair of pants but thought - with FS gone I'll just wait until a better promo. Boo.

      very funny (odd) as many retailors seem to be doing preblack friday deals . I received alot of emails this morning.
      - Joe Fresh has been doing daily deals for this week
      -Banana rep and gap facory as well a J Crew Factory offering early deals
      J Crew retail....still 30% only on sale and its Final sale ??? dumb IMO

      Received an email today for early access for cardholders for pre Black Friday sale of 40% off sale. Sounds like the stores have been 40% already so not a great deal. Still not biting when the items come up as final sale. Wonder if Black Friday will be the same but with free shipping.

      Vancouver ( Canada) store this past friday was 50%. 40 % depending on exculsions you might be right. and the free shipping...
      Last year Zara's was a really good sale.

      Eaton Centre is still only 40% off. Just 50% off accessories and shoes..boo!

      So I chatted CS with this same concern and they tried to tell me that it was select styles only for the 50% of final sale, so I politely asked to be directed to a manager because this is a clear discrepancy when nowhere does it say "select", she honored the 50% off my purchase, but still they need to fix this!

      Roxanne - I noticed that too-- it did not say "select" anywhere, grrrr. There was a purse I was stalking and it actually WAS in the "select" 50% category but not coming up that way in my cart. Then I checked a few hours later and it was removed from the 50% group. sigh, sigh, sigh

      I had them try it on the phone and they couldn't then either. So they promised to adjust the price upon shipping.
      It's not supposed to be 50% off though but they still have not changed it.

      Yep, I had the wool back-zip sweater price adjusted too. They honored the 50% discount for final sale, but you will have to call CS.

    Any guesses on whether the items that are currently not eligible for promotions will be included in whatever Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion they may have?

    I went by my local store earlier today and they had new arrivals. Don't know any other way to put it, they stunk! I had a $50.00 gift card and didn't see one thing I wanted. I might feel differently once they are styled but for now I have a sad face. They did tell me they are starting 30% off entire purchase tomorrow and did not mention any exclusions. They had the fair isle sweater with the sequins across the top but I did not like it at all. The SA said it looked like the sweater had been sugared. It would have been relatively cute without the sequins.

      @DD, did you see the waffle tees? I haven't seen them before, but understand from other posts they were a nice choice in the past. TIA.
