This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this
post) says it best, "You know, that thing you
bought because you love it and you keep pulling it
out and then putting it away without wearing it?"
Please
share your J.Crew item (either that you own or
are thinking about getting) that you would love help
creating an outfit with.
Also,
please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel
free to include links to your blog (where you
incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you
showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance!

Has anyone tried any of the fancy sweatpants...specifically the Tailored sweatpants in wool or the Wool utility pant? How did they fit...are they itchy...is this something JC did right or did they miss e mark? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi reaganflowers - I own the wool track pant (06068) and tried the wool utility pant so I'll give my impressions the best that I can.
ReplyDeleteI'm between a 4 and 6 in JC pants. I have a 4 in the wool track pant and after wearing them a few times could have probably even gone down to a 2 (which I've never done). However, when I tried the wool utility pant I definitely had to take a 6 - they had a hook and bar closure and no elastic at the waist (the track pant had an elastic waist). They're a felted wool that I found a little itchy - definitely not the comfiest material ever. I will say that after wearing them twice, the inner thighs of the track pant are totally pilling. The bottom cuffs of the wool utility pant are a stretchy material - I liked the look of the utility pants but not for the price (especially seeing how the track pants are wearing). This was a bit rambly, but I'd say you may want to give them a try before final sale comes back.
Gigi just reviewed the tailored sweatpants here.
Thanks! Amex is offering $25 back on a $100 jcrew purchase and I can't find $100 worth of stuff I want!!
