  1. Looks like a few purses on the website now have several pictures! I noticed the Raceway purse and the invitation clutch. Maybe the've finally listened and will start to do this for every purse, since most stores don't carry purses and it's difficult to judge from 1-2 online pics and a catalog pic where it is hidden behind a model.

  3. So underwhelmed with the April catalog! Save $$ this month with Crew. However, AT has some nice things.

  4. I love my Farrow Bow Top shown here on Gigi's fabulous blog. I wore this top tucked into the nightfall blue pencil skirt with a partially-buttoned black v-neck cardigan on Tuesday and people were constantly smiling at me. The bow looks really cute peeking out of the top of the v-neck cardi and the top always looks crisp with a very subtle sheen from the silk blend.

I also have the beaded version in antique stone, again thank you gigi for the details. Very pretty blouses that are totally classic and still favorites a year and a half later.

  5. I have that Bow Top in cotton, wore it with an ivory DKNY silk cardi with black buttons & piping and black silk slacks all over Paris last spring!

And the all-black version of the beaded Bow Top has served me well also...

  6. I love those bow tops! I wish I could find one. And I wish J Crew would come out with more like that. There's a super cute Crewcuts top for girls that has a beaded bow on it, I wish they'd use that bow on a shell for women. Maybe I need to learn how to bedazzle. :)

  7. I bought one of those bow tops on eBay after missing out on it at my B&M. I wore it a lot last summer with a cropped black cardi and denim pencil or slim black pants.

They used to do some great camis...

  8. wellfedfred, I always thought the top had a Parisian feel to it. Your outfit sounds lovely, I adore silk sweaters.

tamara, try the Weekly Exchange - Looking to Find. You never know, someone may have one in their closet that they would sell. Neither version has a side zipper and they fit a little bit boxy so you may be able to size up or down and still make it work, just ask for measurements. I'm sure Gigi won't mind if you link to her blog for reference as some people may not know the top by name.

  9. xoxo, merci! When the Black Silk Bow Top hit the stores, the silk was thin and crumply and caught in the stitches of the bow. But, but, but - a version with heavier better silk fabric, all black, turned up at the Crewlet the following fall. Had I but known how useful it would be, I'd have grabbed a spare. In all black it's almost timeless.
