  1. I am very happy about the no-minimum free shipping! It was nice to be able to make an impulse purchase rather than wait until I had $150 in my cart. When a Tulip cami in my size popped back unexpectedly I was able to jump right on it!

  4. Finally took a final sale risk again and it was well worth it! I bought the lady day coat in sea salt last week during the 30% promo for $69.99. Was worried that the 6 might be too big...no worries. It arrived today and it fits beautifully...LOVE. Thank you JCrew!

  5. I just came back from the JC B&M at Pioneer Place in downtown Portland, OR and the staff there were so nice :). I tried on a bunch of skirts (and took home the navy lunette mini for $29.99, like others here) but I had 4 things to return (on three separate transactions) and not *once* did anyone bat an eye. The mgr. (I forgot to get her name :( ) was super nice doing my returns and commented on how nice the items were and what a steal the prices were -- but not in a catty way at all. It was more like friendly chit-chat.

Shout out to Charisse (sp.?) and my PS Carrie who were so nice to show me the new items and give styling advice.

Tried and adore the madras popover and a cute dress with tiny orange dots? Will have to try to find it on my next venture.

  6. I had been looking for a new bag to replace a (not so stylist) backpack for quite some time...I discovered the Belstaff New York Postman's bag and I just HAD to have it. One of those on-the-spot-I-want-it-now decisions. The closest J Crew store to me is almost 2 hours away and while I go around once a month I rely on my PS Blake to help me out with stuff I want between visits.

She was AMAZING. Managed to get me the 15% off discount (which I wasn't sure was good for partnership items) and free overnight shipping. The bag is incredible - handmade of waxed buffalo hide.

Can't wait for my appointment with Blake this weekend!

  7. I love my Liberty springlily perfect shirt. I know it is crazy expensive (i got it with 20% percent off). This was one of the very few must haves for me this time and I was not disappointed. The print is gorgeous and it goes with so many items in my closet. I know many JCAs complain how thin those shirts are but I actually like it for the spring/summer. Also they layer much better than thicker shirts. Fit TTS for me with a little more room in the chest that they used to have in my size (me likes it). Also I got the Notched denim belt which I also love. Nice thing about is I got it in bigger size, so I can wear it both at the waist (where I tuck in the loose end) and on the hips. It is very soft leather ( I hate stiff belts), nice width and the color is perfect for summer. With 20% off I thought it was reasonable especially since it is almost like having two belts. Love it!

  9. Where to begin? There is a man named Warren at the store in north Scottsdale, AZ's Kierland Commons location. It does not matter how long it may be before I come back in (have been shopping online a lot recently) but he remembers my name every single time... and when I was despondent because I did not receive the red card, he still tossed me a little bone because he knew how much I spent in the store. :) THEN, last fall, I fell in love with an orange-red lipstick color on some of the models. I used the "contact us" link, asked about the source of the color, and a wonderful woman worked as a liaison between the artistic department and me, using catalog page numbers as references, found me what became my signature color of the fall! AND THEN, I fell in love with the red cape-stripe bikini this spring and thought that would be the perfect suit for my upcoming jaunt to Miami -- and my size was sold out. The fairy god-helpers located the suit in the size I wanted in New Jersey and shipped it to me... with J Crew's fabulous free shipping. Hmm, what else... ? ;)

  10. Love is probably too strong a word, but I really like that some of the models on the web site are wearing glasses. I think it looks really cute. :)
