Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to take advantage of what's left in the winter sale or to see some new Spring/ Resort arrivals in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. sorry for the re-post, but if anyone sees a pair of giraffe shorts in a sz 2 i would be eternally grateful if you could put it on hold for me under JCA! hopefully i can return the favor someday.

    thanks so much!

  2. Suilove, not sure on sizes, but I saw a bunch of giraffe shorts at the Glendale Americana and Grove stores. Hope they have what you're looking for.

  3. suilove- are these a new item? i will keep you in mind if i stop by tomorrow ...have to find a Vday gift for the SO..

  4. Hey everyone! I've been following this blog for-EVER and absolutely love it, although i'm probably the only guy on here. My JCrew at the Southdale mall in MN moved all their crewcuts crap into the room that held their sale items, so I guess I'm out of luck there... oh well, not that I really need any more clothes!

    ReplyDelete
  5. ctla,

i'll have to call there tomorrow! i'm trying to save shipping and see if there's a store with both the giraffe shorts and the daisy eyelet mini lol

    kendra,
the giraffe shorts were out last catalog as were the daisy eyelet mini, if you see them, if you could put them on hold that would be GREAT! they're gone in the whole state of MA...thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  6. suilove, madison avenue store in ny definitely has both items as of this Wednesday. The mini is equipped in all sizes except 0. I did not check on the giraffe shorts though.

I probably would not make another trip there until my order arrives but if I do, I will keep an eye for you.

  7. Hi guys. Maybe some of you can help me. I've been looking for the mens J Crew featherweight flannel shirt in Curragh Tartan item #96551 in mens size medium (its from the fall/winter). It's no longer on the site and I can't check any stores as I live in Canada. Has anybody seen this in stores?

If so, could you email me at swisschalet@yahoo.com.

I would love if somebody could pick it up for me if they did see it. I wouldnt expect that but if you could tell me the store location, I would be greatful. Below is a link. Thanks.

  8. Is this where we can post stuff we own but want to re-sell? Is that a different post? If so, I don't want to clog this one up with useless commentary..um, like I'm doing..right now...*sheepish*

  9. Try this link (Its on the second row, 3rd from left). Thanks.

  10. chiffon cupcake,

thanks so much for thinking of me! ughhh why its so hard to find this in a sz 0 *tear* i totally regret trying it on and just thinking oh man i will not wear this for awhile so i might as well pick it up later =( obviously its going to sell like crazy as soon as it goes on sale since its so gorgeous..

  11. suilove,
I'm going to Chicago this weekend and I'll look for you (I already checked San Diego). To confirm, size 2 in the shorts and size 0 in the mini?

    ReplyDelete
  12. YES!

    Thanks so much, smarty!

  13. I wish I could visit a J.Crew!
    Sigh.

  14. Has anyone seen the merino Lea cardigan (item# 99545) in the color navy? I need it in a size small.

    Thanks in advance

  15. Chris - There are a few guys on here. I was in a b&m today and there was no men's clearance. All spring stuff. You might want to try eBay if you haven't already. I've had luck finding out of stock items on there.

  16. Anon @ 1:35am

The post you are thinking of is the Monday "Great Weekly Exchange," which is where people offer items for sale or request items they are looking for.

People sometimes miss that post and offer items in other sections (err, if anyone is interested, I have a size 0 denim skirt, some XS tees, and $240 worth of gift cards that I'll sell for 10% off face value... :) )

Alexis, I would second another posters wish to have the Weekly Exchange posted 2x a week or maybe as a separate section of the blog. I don't know how feasible that is but it's just a thought. Thanks!

  17. I need to vent. I have experienced the dreaded "news about your order" for the first time. I ordered the Merino lea Cardigan on Wednesday in black. I have it in melon and love it! Thursday I got the dreaded email. A few hours later, it appears on the site again so I ordered it again along with a load of other things because I just HAVE to get free shipping. Then it is canceled again. Am I going to see it appear again this morning? I'm such a sucker, I will probably order it again. Why does J Crew do this?!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ugh, the Coralie shoes in my cart went from final sale back up to full sale (a $100 price jump) overnight. Not nice, JC.

I may stop by this weekend - the cotton sateen Jane pencil skirt I picked up last week has a split seam, and I haven't even worn it yet. Argh!

    ReplyDelete
  19. KBear,

That is normal with Jcrew. Once I ordered a dress and it was canceled five times consecutively.

    ReplyDelete
  20. FYI Site has some new price markdowns like the editor totes, Italian vanchetta grey totes, & more...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Suilove,

Try the Lexington KY store. I was there yesterday but honestly can't remember if they had either of the items you are looking for, but I know they did the time before that when I went, so it is probably definitely worth a phone call. Good luck!

  22. hi... My boyfriend thinks I'm addicted to J Crew he doesn't understand why the first thing I do every morning is check in with my fellow JCA's then the JC site. Plus I check in thought the day & night. I was keeping this addiction secret when the Lulu heels blew my cover...I became obsessed looking for my size of which I'm still looking :(

He's frustrated & wishes they didn't exist. Which is why I remain anonymous because he might check the JCA site. I buy things & pretend I had them already. On that note... Can't wait for the site to update ; ) ha

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ha. The markdown on the editor tote from $395 to $350 still doesn't help me much J Crew, but thanks for the effort. :P

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anon @ 739am

Um, don't get me started on the whole "my boyfriend doesn't understand" thing. It's one thing that I am addicted to the clothes, but he bugged out when I told him I went to slastena's house one weekend. he was like "seriously, you guys have aa group. ya'll need therapy."

no need to hide yourself. just remember the fact that boyfriends just don't understand.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ben P - if you've been following for-EVER you should know that Jeff is a regular poster, as well as J.Crew Guy in Canada and a few other men.

    ReplyDelete
  26. oh, on a different note, the Alessia peep-toes are $55 in some colors. Jump on it, ladies!

    ReplyDelete
  27. KBear: just order the sweater next time it appears, immediately, don't worry about adding other items to your cart. After placing the email, forward the "dreaded e-mail" to JCrew's customer service. Explain you ordered it again because it had been cancelled (as shown in the email) and you would like the shipping credited to your account.

I have done this numerous times without any problems. You should f/u after you receive the item to ensure they posted the shipping credit. HTH.

    ReplyDelete
  28. ^ KBear: I meant to say "...after placing the order...".

    ReplyDelete
  29. I know this isn't the right forum, but not sure where else WOULD be...I recently ordered the cashmere heirloom henley in golden cypress (a muted yellowy green). What arrived, although correctly labeled, looked a LOT more like the bright blade green color. Does anyone else have anything in the golden cypress color? Is there just a problem with the color photographing properly?

    ReplyDelete
  30. These markdowns are from yesterday am.

    ReplyDelete
  31. pfft, boyriends. Unless you share finances, he has no say.

My husband doesn't give me too hard a time about how much I buy. Its impossible to hide because everything ships to our house. I send back more than I keep, so he just thinks JC and I shipping clothes back and forth is my odd little hobby.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anon at 8:20: I have the silk dupioni skirt in golden cypress and it is a greeny yellow tone color. You can definitely see yellow tones in it. Not anything like bright blade green.

    ReplyDelete
  33. zooey--

the lea is available online right now in navy, size small.. HTH

    ReplyDelete
  34. KBear, not sure if this helps, but if I see something I have to have and the inventory is low, I pay extra for overnight shipping. Somehow my problems go away when I pay extra.

    ReplyDelete
  35. My husband is well aware of how much I shop and he loves it when I buy stuff for him too. I don't get too obsessed over any one item because I have tons of clothes and accessories already and one more nice thing won't measurably change my life. I don't have buyer's remorse because I have to be able to integrate every new item into my existing wardrobe and not need to buy one other piece to make it work.

So far, so good. I find the blog gets people excited sometimes, me included. That's when I get away from the computer and go for a walk, call a friend, my mother, sister, etc. During the holiday promotions it was like a competition with oneself to get the most-desired for the best deal and some people were definitely making some great scores. It seems to have let up a bit but the volume of items on the weekly exchange is growing all the time so I kind of wonder...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ben P,

Hello! There are a few guys who post frequently here, and it's always good to have a couple more! I think many of us ladies buy our men jcrew (or at least try to!). So, every now and then there will be discussion of the menswear. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. silver_lining: Ditto on the Coralies. They're still under the "sale" category but are now full price.

Oh, well-- I picked up a dark poppy lady day coat this weekend for cheap, I guess that's it for the week.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't plan to visit this weekend. I made a couple of purchases when the Spring arrivals came out but don't really *have to have* anything else. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. ocksight - I <3 it! I LOLed when I read your post. My husband thinks visiting J.Crew B&Ms "just to see if they got anything new" (in the last 48 hours) is my odd little hobby. Maybe our SigOs need a support group! We seem to be doing fine :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I went to my b&m last night to try on some things, and honestly nothing really made me say "I have to have that!" So I walked away empty handed. Plus, no additional markdowns.

On another note, I did go to Target and scored two pearl cluster necklaces. I paid f/p but if anyone wants one, I'd be willing to ship it to them for $15. Just shoot me an e-mail at mkbsoccer (at) yahoo (dot) com.

    Happy Friday! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. My husband caught my credit card bill the other day and almost had a freak out session when he saw all the jcrew purchases on my account. He looked at me like I was crazy and then laughed and said I have a problem. What does he care if I spent $500 on jcrew? I don't ask for birthday presents or valentines day gifts. I buy myself my presents and am much happier!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Maybe there should be a related blog for those significant others who put up with us!! My husband thinks I'm crazy... and wants to know when I could possibly wear all the clothes I ALREADY have, much less while buying more!!

And it's only getting to be worse of an obsession because now I can buy CrewCuts for my son!!

The best "new" thing on my B&M's sale was the terrace pants, which I bought in shell, but now I wish I had just added them to my online order and gotten 20% off. Darn. They have to be hemmed... a lot! HTH

    ReplyDelete
  43. No trip to JCrew this weekend. I haven't bought any new spring arrivals either. There are only two things I like and 20% off online isn't enough...waiting for a sale as they are not have to have items. I still have my $125 rewards card to spend and am waiting for the next roll out in a couple of weeks...Feb. is 1/2 over already! I have to say this is the first time in 7 years I have not bought any new spring things early. Maybe it's the economy, the fact that it is still so cold, or the line up is so plain and boring this spring from JCrew!

    ReplyDelete
  44. im returning a couple things this morning if anyone wants them contact me quick i know they're not online:

pave hinged bangle (i got it in the mail and one tiny pave crystal is missing!) its not even noticeable but i was sad about that... $80 shipped

wood acorn necklace (nothing wrong with it but my bf asked me why i'd wear acorns around my neck? so i guess its not for me) $53 shipped

    email me before 11am eastern.
    Thanks! sbash123@yahoo.com

  45. no shopping for me but I do love the crackle mary janes....sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  46. manage to finally snag a few 'essentials' for work wear purposes on the update this morning to take advantage of SHHH code.

Merino t-necks, a melanie cardi, a Lydia, and a couple of sprint knit shells and.....a Victoria! Yeah!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Probably not going to J.Crew this weekend, I was there this week and didn't see much in the sale area.

PS. I saw someone ask for a review of the Sarah dress on yesterday's post and since I own it I posted one on my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ashley - Your BF might be wrong about the acorn necklace. I bought it full price last fall and literally received at least 3 compliments every time I wore it. Women, men, everyone loved it and commented on how it was so distinctive. They all thought it had come from some pricey artist and were shocked it was a J Crew item. It is just a matter of confidence though, and that comment might float into your head every time you think about putting it on.

    ReplyDelete
  49. this is hilarious hearing everyone's stories with their significant other + jcrew! my bf sends me mixed messages... he would like me to spend less and thinks I already have tons of clothes, but then he goes with me to jcrew and will say things like, "this would look cute on you" and encourages me to try stuff on! :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. heather,

My BF is the same way! He flip flops so much. He says I buy too much JCrew but gives me tons of gift cards. And then when he wants to go shopping for himself, hesays that we should go to JCrew. Doesn't he know he's just enabling me?! Geez!

    ReplyDelete
  51. hi jenn,
he probably is wrong since he has no fashion sense... maybe i'll give it another whirl but what did you end up wearing it with? the acorns are kind big don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Anon at 8:20 - Golden Cypress and Blade Green are nothing alike. GI just double checked for you and what you see online should be close to what you received (give or take color differences from your screen). Maybe someone put the wrong sweater in the wrong bag. I would either take the sweater to my local B&M or call customer service. If you are convinced it is the wrong sweater explain the situation to them. THey should send you a new sweater and schedule for the other to be opicked up from you by UPS without charge. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  53. lexi,
at least your BF likes going shopping! i feel so bad having my bf stand around me while i check out EVERY single rack in the store. he just follows me around and i can't fully enjoy my shopping experience because he looks like he wants me to hurry so we can get out of there. it really ruins in for me! one time he tried picking stuff out for me and i was like "ummm thanks!" i ended up ditching it in the fitting room and said it didn't fit! sad, yes i know.

my b&m is pretty small but i wish they had a seating area for the men like other stores do.

i always liked going with my mom to j.jill because they have those comfy chairs and magazines. so wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Did (does?) the daisy eyelet mini ever come in 0? Right now online, it's in every size except that. Don't remember seeing a 0 in the store, either...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ashley - I had several links taken out by my local jeweler (about 2 inches per side the cost = $10). The acorns do not seem so swingy and big when the necklace is shorter (I did find the necklace way to long for me, I am 5' 6"). I wore the necklace with cashmere crewnecks, my Fiona, Jackie cardis with T-shirts underneath and with a cute Burberry coat when I was going to be outside (tailgating, picking apples, etc.)

    ReplyDelete
  56. My husband thinks my obsession with clothing is funny. I always tell him, "but I bought this to look cute for YOU!" this usually warms him over :) Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) he is pretty intense with our budget. We only have a set amount of $ to spend each month on clothes, so as long as I am even by December, he doesn't mind!

I wish other JCAs lived in my area...none of my friends understand... :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks Jenn! Hehe I totally forgot that I have a Fiona! I suppose this necklace will be more useful in the fall. Thanks for you input! Greatly appreciated! :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. I only wore it from the end of September to Thansgiving. That was my own hang-up though. I just thought it really said "Autumn" and thought it would be kind of weird out of the season. I do not wear Christmas sweaters anymore (though I did go though an unfortunate blinking light tree sweater phase during my teens) but I thought of the necklace kind of having seasonal limitations like that.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Re. the acorn necklace, definitely don't take your BF's fashion advice. IMO men tend to be too conservative! Anything too distinctive is a bit weird to them!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Oh, I've been there, ashley.

Jenn, I don't have the necklace but that was pretty smart of you. I'm always hesitant to get JCrew jewelry becuase sometimes the necklaces are just too long.

acornelia, very true. with styles & colors. the first year of dating my BF all he wore was black, gray, and white until I bought him a burnt orange sweater (great for his complexion) and it was like a revelation to him: Wow, there's such a thing as color.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Suilove, try New Haven, CT. They had some last night...

    ReplyDelete
  62. I love the SigO stories!
Ashely-so funny about ditching stuff he picks out in the dressing room. I think my husband does it to ME! He swears the sweaters I pick out "don't fit right" but I'm positive they looked just adorable on him...hmmm...
He's actually pretty good at picking stuff for me, so I guess I'm lucky in that regard! He loves to accessorize me in the dressing room. I'll show him something and he'll be like "that would look great belted . . ." and run to grab a belt before I can stop him :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. I visited a B&M yesterday... there was an additional $ amount off of some mini skirts, and also the garden lace shift dress. Maybe $20 off? I can't remember. Otherwise, I enjoyed seeing the new pieces but nothing I had to have at full price. The sale items I saw were priced like online but no addt'l percentage off. Of course this was Thurs... don't know what they may do for the weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  64. jenn_brak - That was genius to have some links removed. I'll have to think of that next time I have a long necklace but am on the fence about it. I had the acorn and of course now wonder what it would look like shorter.

I may try to go to a b&m today. I went yesterday and added about 3 items to my blog for irl pics. There is a new item, which I loved & photographed but didn't get a chance to add. I'll try to add it tonite.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Seriously, they raised the price of the Coralies? What a dirty trick. I'm glad I ordered mine yesterday - but if they don't fit that will suck!! I thought that was a suspiciously good deal on such a fab shoe...

    ReplyDelete
  66. I've been following this site for a few months now and absolutely love you guys! Alexis, you are awesome. I just had to make a comment about my boyfriend since that seems to be where this discussion is going. He completely does not understand my obsession with Jcrew and my love of the JCA blog, but he says since he checks the ESPN blogs everyday, he can't make fun of me! I moved to a new city about 6 months ago for work and now I don't have a B&M anywhere near me. He is always very nice about taking me shopping at Jcrew when I visit him in Dallas. He even owns a couple of Jcrew shirts now!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I just got my first pair of matchstick cords and I absolutely love the. I know I'm kinda slow on the trends but I'm going to order another pair. I have a question for you fashionable JCAs. How long can I wear them? I know Spring is approaching but I live in DC so it will be cool until April or so. Are these strictly Autumn pants? I asked my husband and he's like "who cares?". I know you ladies will understand! TIA

    ReplyDelete
  68. Is anyone having percent off? I bought a bunch of stuff earlier this week and if the stores are doing percent off I'm going to go back and price adjust (it was mostly sale merch).

    ReplyDelete
  69. I agree with your husband. Wear them as long as the weather is cool enough to feel comfortable--there are no rules with fashion. Go...with confidence:)

    ReplyDelete
  70. Woohoo, I'm rocking the mom jeans (High Heeled Flare) for the first time and I loove them. But I find myself doing the Jenna-tooty-pose at my desk because I'm paranoid the bum is going to stretch out. I haaaaate saggy bum.

I noticed another FS pair of mom jeans for $30 - mine are the indigo. HHF fans, is this a nice colour IRL?

    ReplyDelete
  71. My theory on the giant weekly exchange is that people WAY overdid it with the marvelous sales in NOv & Dec and now they have SO much stuff they are pairing it down. Also--a new season is coming and that makes people re-evaluate the millions of things with tags that are Fall/Winter..oh yea, I should add that there were many, countless arguments/bitch sessions included in the exchange this week so the number looks excessive:(

    ReplyDelete
  72. I would love the Simone Leopard Peacoat in a size 8 or 10 if anyone comes across one.
    kat3805@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  73. I placed one order with the promotion on a sale item - and I had to work really really hard to find a few ride-alongs that I might actually like. Yikes - really nothing at all I have to have. Will NOT be going to the store! No need or desire.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Sophia,
I too LOVE the matchstick cords and I live in VA. I plan to wear mine until there is no more weather similar to today. I say very early/mid spring as long as there is a little crisp in the air. The light fresh colored ones will be easier to do this with. I was just saying the same thing to a friend because I have lots of these pants. I will switch to denim and capris and jean skirts when the weather warms.

Paper Bag- YES I love my HHF too! The fabric at the bottom is great, I love that swing. They are easy to wear. My butt has not stretched out yet but I am waiting! I've heard.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Paper bag,
I like your blog. That cake!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Sophia,

I am a corduroy freak and would wear it year round if I could! I would say that summer is really the only time I do not wear cords... too hot/humid where I've lived. I think they are fine in spring, and definitely good for fall and winter.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I just bought two Jackie sets online with the 20% off, the Melon and the Endive. I think both colors will looks so pretty with navy in the spring. Endive is really such a nice color, a cool, very pale green. I LOVE it. I got the Nikki skirt in navy in an earlier order and I can't wait to wear the Endive Jackie set with it and my navy patent TB Revas!

    ReplyDelete
  78. How's this for embarrassing - my husband knows very well how much J Crew I buy because I keep on having it sent to his office. He says he's practically best buds with the UPS dude now.

OT - but I'm curious about this - have any other Canadian JCA's noticed something wonky with the tax calculation as of today? I've placed an order today in which the tax was almost 26%, but in my previous (millions) of orders in the last couple months, the tax has only been about 8%.

If this continues I don't know if I can continue with these mini shopping sprees anymore =(

    ReplyDelete
  79. Hi Sophia and others,

I too love corduroy, esp in the gorgeous colors J.Crew makes (sadly they are too big for me - I can only buy pants at American Eagle or similar i.e.teeny bopper sizes :( Anyway - I think you can wear them well into Spring. I'd wear and enjoy until it is too hot - they look great with a cute shirt eg liberty print or one of the many silk camis JC has and some cute shoes..

Heather - the daisy mini definitely came in Sz 0 - I tried it on the day after Xmas in the San Fran store - good luck finding it - I am sure it will pop up online at some point. Last year they had a similar eyelet/lace mini in a white or a grey, that also sold out in 0 quickly, but then reappeared...

    A :)

  80. No plans to visit my b&m this weekend unless it is to return some items. I think I might just ship them back. I get a little embarrassed returning many items at the b&m.

    Online however --

I would still like to get another Cherie cami -- I have one and am in love with it! I've just been debating on whether to size down 1 more ... hopefully it's still left by the time I decide.

I also want to get a pair of Cafe Capris in warm blush (or is it shell?) and the Jackie cardigan in endive.

Also would like to get my handful of perfect fit tees purchased for spring/summer ... just debating again on size for a slim fit or looser fit.

And I'm still thinking about a swimsuit -- I have one in a particular style and may pick up another color.

My husband finally caught on to my JCrew "interest" as I prefer to call it. Too many boxes have come lately. I just tell him it's just a few things I've needed and they've had great sales! He would seriously have a heart attack if he saw my cc account right now because I haven't done my returns yet. (He also doesn't understand the concept of buying and returning ... men. sigh.)

    ReplyDelete
  81. I just wanted to give a big thanks to Chance, Ashley and Lynzeroo for helping me to get some of the awesome J Crew shoes at TJ Max! I really appreciate their generosity in helping a fellow JCA out! And since we are talking about significant others, the funny thing is all three pairs arrived yesterday, which was my birthday. And so my boyfriend thought I just had received a bunch of birthday presents :) He said "Do you know these people?" Not exactly but so funny! It was a lovely birthday suprise so thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Paper Bag: The other color in the HHFs is very, very blue IMO. The fit is about the same as the darker color, but the blue color intensifies the flare of the jean. Think "That 70s Show"..........

    ReplyDelete
  83. ha ha, thanks Beth. I was reading the Cake Wrecks blog in the wee hours of the morning yesterday and I woke my husband up laughing. He came out to check on me because my hideous cackles sounded like crying!

JC North - I haven't noticed that - that sounds like an error maybe?? I know the exchange rate is bad for us right now...argh.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Completely OT, but I got the new Boden catalog and was checking out their web site. It is great! I LOVE the reviews! And I love that they have enough confidence in their clothes to put the review feature on their web site - reviews good and bad - helps SOOOO much in ordering. I am also really impressed with their newest line. I wasn't excited about their winter clothes, but the spring has some really cute things.

  86. Anon @ 11:47AM -

I bought a cherie cami in size 0, shell color, on final sale which doesn't quite fit me. Still NWT.

If that's your size let me know if you're interested :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Anon @ 12:10 ... Unfortunately size 0 will be too small. I have size 4 and am considering size 2.

Thanks for thinking of me and asking!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. What would you ask for the cherie? [Just in case Anon doesn't want it!]

  89. I check out Boden's catalog too but think they are killing the clothes with those big buttons on every item.

Also, I believe it's Boden or Garnet Hill who has the same style or very similiar cargo's as JCrew's buttery cargo's from last year.

Love seeing JCrew models in different clothing companies merchandise. It confirms I like what I like regardless of the model/marketing.

  90. hey girls,

i have a pair of marc jacobs brown patent leather pumps in 6.5 that i got a great deal on. they retailed for $325, but i got them for $130. i am usually almost a size 7, but couldn't resist a good deal so i got them in a smaller size... bad idea.

if anyone is interested, i can ship them to you for $130. otherwise, they are going back to the store!

just wanted to make sure another aficionada didn't want to lose out on a steal. :)

  93. Paper Bag - I just checked out the cakes. They are hilarious! Especially the "Do you love me, yes or no".

As for tax % - I think this change is permanent. I just did a few mock orders, and the tax seems to be ridiculously high. For example, a $149.99 order (before shipping) has $39.08 worth of tax on it. I've only had to pay $30 tax on a $400 order previously...have no idea what's going on. sigh. Perhaps this is a sign :(

  95. I love the acorn necklace! I think it's so different because no one expects you to wear acorns around your neck and I got a bunch of compliments when I wore mine yesterday! :)

I wasn't planning on buying anything, but those dang crackle mary janes finally got cheaper and I sure do love that pink color! Hmm....

  96. "Are we a JC warehouse now?" That was my husband's reaction last night seeing all those JC bags and boxes in my closet. Other than that, my husband, who pronounces J.Crew as "J. C. Crew" - totally don't know where he sees an extra "C" ;) shows little concern on my shopping habit. He thought JC is sort of a discounted retailer as he saw all the turkey and hohoho promos.

Gwen, I hear you. Being financially independent and buying for your own pleasure as you please is much better! I was a SAHW before and it sucked ;)

  97. @Paperbag,
I love the HHF I have them in all the possible colors even the "that 70s show blue," I just recently got the white ones that showed up with the spring stuff. I find that the dreaded "saggy butt" doesn't happen with these jeans. They are an absolute dream! *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  98. Posey, I am definitely getting the white HHF too. But I'm going to hold off for now, or else they will just taunt me, hanging in my closet for 3 more months.

In a cold climate (Canadian West) how soon can I wear white jeans? May?

  102. Hey all,
reposting this from the new sale code thread in case folks haven't moved on yet:)
Slightly OT but we don't have a "how does this item fit" thread so I figured I'd try here.
There was some discussion in a thread earlier this week, maybe the dry cleaning one, about swimsuit fit. Can anyone provide some help on their bandeau top sizing? Not to get too personal, but I'm a 34D or 36C and a sz 4 in JCrew tops. I thought the M might fit better in terms of cup size but I don't want it to be too loose around the back. So, small or medium? TIA!

  103. Random Question

Please bear with me I live in SoCal

So I bought some wellies y'day (elephant critter), they are SO cute, but um...how do you wear them? Over Pants? Under? Need some general outfit construction advice.

Its actually raining here so I'd want to take advantage of it, plus I've always loved wellies and they came in my fav color AND on sale, so how could I say no?

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Paper bag princess-

I too, am a HHF lover and got them in all fall colors-indigo, dk. indigo and now clean indigo-love them and they are great for work for me. HOWEVER- with the indigo ones, the color is not so much the issue for me as is the material-it is waaay heavier and stiffer than the darker HHF which are almost lightweight. I find the weight, not the color is what I don't like about them, and probably wouldn't have bought this color (in spite of loving the cut) had I known what the weight was like before I bought them on final sale. For what it's worth...

  105. I think boden has some really great quality and some fun items. I haven't loved them this past Fall nor this Spring but then again it lacks the sophistication that J Crew has been luring me with these past 8 months;) Also-oit is BODEN that hasd copied many J Crew items-check out the ruffle edge cardis, coats and shirts..the list goes on in their catalog. They don't quite "get" it though so I see it as no competition for J Crew. I mean..J Crew is getting my $ these days:)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their kids clothing. The quality CANNOT be beat and on sale it is a dream!

    ReplyDelete
  106. OT-anyone tried Gaps all cotton cardis that come in every shade under the sun? Any feelings about quality, fit, style? Saw the ad in the new InStyle Mag and they make it look very enticing-love the colors!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Pakcola,

When you want to wear your wellies, I think you should wear bootcut, straight fit, matchstick (skinny, however you want to put it) and tuck them into your boots. Keep your pants from getting wet or touching the ground. Not wide leg pants/jeans because that looks awkward when tucked in.

But you can also wear a skirt with tights or socks (no higher than your boots).

    ReplyDelete
  108. Regarding HHF -
I have four pairs and now thanks to the blog, a white pair will be on it's way! I know some think of them as "Mom jeans" but I love them and think the fit is awesome! I just wish they made them about an inch shorter! I have to get them all tailored. At this price though, I think I can handle it.

  109. Hi all,

Yup. I plan on going by the Carmel B&M this weekend-- can't seem to stay away.

I had been in earlier & mentioned that one of my JC skirts is too long. The lovely SA's said "Bring it on over & we'll have our tailor take it in". I'm thinking about taking a jacket as well because the sleeves are a wee bit too long. I've heard that the Carmel tailor is fabulous... Does anyone have exp with having an item tailored there?

Also gonna take another look at the slate grey skirt Marietta described earlier as: "the sateen pencil, similar to item 12541, except without the button tab at the waist, and the pockets. I think this style of sateen pencil skirt is in store only, as I have not seen it online at all". I had tried it on & am now having 2nd thoughts about not buying it then & there... I think it would make a great work wardrobe addition - esp. with the soft pink tops.

Oh & on the SigO topic. Yes, my dear hubby thinks I go a bit overboard with Jcrew. One of the reasons why I have the boxes delivered to work. Also, I time my visits to B&Ms with his poker days. He has his fun & I have mine :)

I would love to have a shopping buddy-- but I gotta admit that it's nice to be able to come & go as I please. Besides, I have this wonderful blog & the very helpful folks at Jcrew to help me. Probably why I'm so very brand loyal - computer upgrades & all.

Happy shopping this weekend, may all your finds be fabulous!

    Heather:D

  110. GAP inquiry - I saw the Gap cotton cardis IRL about 10 days ago - I think they are actually nice quality - the style is comparable to the JC long merino styles eg Michelle. I think my only hesitation is that cotton cardigans/sweaters can tend to stretch out/lose their shape (Vs merino). I do think they are worth a look though - really pretty colors and good price. I liked how they layered 2 of them in contrast colors over a tank in the ad. BTW Gap also had a cute cotton trench with a grosgrain sash in several colors incl yellow, green and mid-blue.

I purchased the textured hemp pencil skirt in papaya recently. What colors would you ladies suggest as being complementary to the skirt? I was thinking at least navy blue, but I'm not sure.

Thanks to slastena and FFM, I'm trying to branch out in my stylishness and take some risks. TIA for advice on the colors!

  116. Speaking of Boden-they are having 25% off an item everyday until the end of Feb (you have to fish for the %off item-clever way to get cha' lookin' around at things;) And they still have buy 3 get 1 free plus free returns. Someone else is feeling the economic crisis, no doubt:(

  117. jbird, I'm waiting on the skirt too...any day now! I was fooling around on polyvore and paired it with a petwer coloured top and the coralie heels in light eucalyptus(a very, very pale aqua). I thought it worked well, esp. the pale aqua colour with the coral-ly/orange of the skirt...

I am also trying to be more colour bold...

    ReplyDelete

I just bought those shoes yesterday...

    ReplyDelete
  120. PBP - I heart how how paired the papaya skirt with the Coralie heels in the aqua/spearmint color. Now I want those shoes. bummer:)

    ReplyDelete
  121. Paper Bag Princess - I am so glad you mentioned the skirt and the shoes together! I just purchased the skirt yesterday and then I saw the shoes randomly in the final sale yesterday for 50% off, so I can pair them together thanks to your polyvore! I'm so excited!!! The shoes have been taken off the final sale for some reason, its all very weird, cause I noticed them for the first time yesterday and now they are gone today. Maybe they will be back though?

    ReplyDelete
  122. I know, someone was talking about that earlier...that is really crappy. They must have started selling too well so they marked them up again?? I'm sure they'll be back on sale again once some new shoes arrive...

I am glad I ordered them yesterday, but I guess if they aren't a perfect fit I'll have to make them work, because I don't want to pay full price!!

Speaking of new shoes, I could be wrong and maybe they've been there all along, but I think there are some very pretty new peep toe patent flats (kind of a d'orsay style) in the new arrivals section. They come in some pretty colours!

    ReplyDelete
  123. BTW, Laura, your IRL pics of the some of the new jewelery pieces were so helpful!!!! Thanks!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. Thank you IRL four your advice. I ordered just the cardigan again today. I hope I get it!

    ReplyDelete
  125. JCrew Love Up North, I noticed the weird tax today too. I place a $30 dollar order today that had more tax than my $100 order a few days ago.

Maybe they are starting to include duty upfront instead of just surprising us with the amount later.

    ReplyDelete
  126. KBear: I just discovered the extra tax this afternoon too, and I also noticed a delay in shipping out my parcel, I wonder if the tax being added on has anything to do with it. It was good while it lasted, now I really have to watch what I order from J Crew from now on. It has to be on sale or % off.

Also to all JC Canadian customers, I found the easiest way to return stuff back to JC is UPS the parcel back to them, from the time of return shipment and receiving the credit 5 days.

    ReplyDelete
  127. J Crew Up North: I think the tax is permanent now, they have finally caught on, I hope they don't make it retroactive. and yes I can no longer afford big purchases any more either, this added tax kills me.

Any other Canadian experiencing a delay in shipping their parcel in the last 2 days?

    ReplyDelete
  128. casual crew, is UPS a lot more expensive vs. Canada Post? I have a BIG box of returns to make...

    ReplyDelete
  129. PBP - No problem! I know that IRL pictures always help me to decide what to buy (and perhaps more importantly, what not not to buy)

I got a couple of new items this week that I will have to post pictures of but am still trying to figure out how to actually take good pictures by myself. Will definitely post next week though!

    Glad they helped!

Did you say you order the Coralie shoes last night too, before they went back up in price? Did you get the light eucalyptus?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Penny Pincher: No the cost is about the same, however the insurance is extra $3.00 per $100.00, I had to pay $6.00 because my parcel was $125.00.

It is worth it because my parcel was delivered in 3 days, and I received the credited today all in less than 1 week. Canada Post lost my last return to JC, it took 8 weeks to get reimbursed for that one.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I am wondering if the stores will be having any extra % off sale this weekend for the holiday weekend like they sometimes do? If anyone visits a store, please post!

    Swiss dot Fontana dress ($19.99, found 2);
    Beach emboss dress ($19.99, only 1 white, size 10);
    Seize the day tee ($9.99, only 1, size M);
    Tulip linen jacket ($14.99, only 1, size 0. color Bright Citron);
Jackie cardigans ($14.99, only 2, size xs. the honey glaze one has 2 discolored spots)

    Didn't find any shoes.

BTW, I'm in the DC area. Greetings to my fellow washingtonian JCAs here!

  135. Laura, yes - I lucked out and got the Coralie for $99, light eucalyptus. Of course, this means if they don't fit, I will have to mash my darn feet into them anyway!!

That would be so great to see an IRL pic of the 70s show jeans!!! I'm on the fence about them...but what a great price.

I am a total convert to the HHF. I am happy to report that they basically kept their shape all day long - and I sit on my rump at a desk all day!

  137. I was at the mall this afternoon and purchased two of the GAP v-neck cardigans as they were on sale for $25 CDN each. They are quite thin, which will be good for the warm days of summer. I liked the longer length as well. Beautiful colors available in the v-neck and cardis. I didn't check them out closely though, I have Jackies in every color that I liked at GAP so just left them. I did get a nice linen/viscose scarf and I was contemplating that cotton trench with the grosgrain ribbon belt. The only problem was that it had 3/4 sleeves, which isn't something useful on a trench when you live in Canada. The rain here is always cold. :(

I noticed that BR had some nice new items. I really like their Bridgeport and Flatiron bags. I think I'm going to get one of the totes. Very nicely lined and really look sharp without being too oversized. I have J.Crew's uptown tote and I love it but I could use one in a neutral color.

Club Monaco had a merino tank with the chiffon layer down the front similar to the one J.Crew has or will have available. I believe gigiofca had photos of it on her blog. CM also had some wonderful slacks. The cut is called Ursula and they have a variety of fabrics and different features. Some with front pockets, some with just back pockets and side tabs. There are patterns and solids, fully-lined wool and stretch cotton. I bought a pair in mini houndstooth stretch cotton. They fit like a dream and are machine washable. Nice.

Sorry to go so far OT. I was planning to just comment on the GAP cardis but I couldn't help myself.

    ReplyDelete
  138. ^ I meant GAP v-neck pullovers, not cardis. doh!

    ReplyDelete
  139. KBear - have you had an extra charge to an order before? I was wondering because of your "retroactive" comment. Man I hope that doesn't happen to my previous orders, I can't really afford that. Legally I don't think a retailer is allowed to "surprise" charge you if it wasn't agreed upon initially. At least, I hope.

Casual Crew & Penny Pincher - UPS is way better to send stuff back, but it's an expensive method to ship. Canadapost isn't cheap by any stretch, but it is a terrible service. I recently paid xpress to send it back, and it got lost and took over 2 weeks instead of "express" time to get there. The good thing is, canadapost refunded my ship cost. Which is sweet because JCrew doesn't reimburse you for your return ship cost.

A big sigh for the new tax. It's like the end of an era or something...

    ReplyDelete
  140. J Crew Love: I made the retroactive comment, I don't think they can do on past orders, however I have one that is waitlisted, and one that has not shipped out since Wed. I wonder how much I am going to get charged for that one.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Casual-Crew, I wouldn't worry about the one that hasn't shipped out yet. I don't believe they can change your total agreed-upon charge just because it ships out afterwards. And, if you find that it does, I'm sure you can call customer service and they will for sure refund the difference.
Not sure about waitlisted items though. New tax will probably apply to that one cuz you haven't paid for it yet :(

    ReplyDelete
  145. Casual-Crew - I don't think they're delaying any Canadian shipments. I placed an order earlier this week and it shipped the next day. As in my experience, the time between ordering and shipping has always been sporadic. I wouldn't worry about getting charged the new tax if I were you - the only danger is if some items are rare and may get canceled. (Happened to me this week.) That usually explains the delay - maybe they are having trouble locating that rare low quantity item?? Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  146. i have thoroughly enjoyed the comments about husbands/bfs thinking we are crazy with shopping. i'm glad i'm not the only one who tries to "hide" new items in the closet, lol. what we will do for fashion... guys don't always get it. like my fiance can't stand jean skirts. (says they look sloppy? i don't know) that doesn't stop me from wearing them though :)

    ReplyDelete
  147. zooey - your best bet for finding a lea cardigan would be online. they were pulled from the sales floor (along with all of the other winter sale items) a few weeks ago. most stores won't have them on the floor, because they're not supposed to anymore!

    good luck hunting!

    ReplyDelete
  148. JCrewLove: It just shipped, I have to wait for the shipping confirmation for the charge. Thanks for your help.

    ReplyDelete
  149. There is no state tax on clothing in PA, so I was surprised to see additional tax charges on my order. I was told by CS that this is tax on shipping and handling, which seems ridiculous to me. They justify this by saying it's a service, even though no other retailer includes S&H in tax calculations. I never had taxes on my orders until about a month ago.

  152. Packola - I'll add my two cents to wearing wellies (I LOVE mine - I wear them in rain AND snow). One thing I like to do is wear them with a mini skirt and tights. IMO it looks super cute. But I'll agree with the other JCAs that loose pants look funny tucked in. I would recommend a sturdier fabric like a heavy denim or corduroy. If I have baggier pants on, I usually leave them outside the boots, but then nobody can see how cute they are :)

  153. GAP Inquiry at 1:31: I bought the Gap cardi in a pale pink color and I love it. It's comparable in fit and style to the Portland merino, but it's made of cotton. I wore it last weekend with my pink candy tee. I got a ton of compliments on the color combo. Totally worth $44 IMHO!

    ReplyDelete
  154. JCAs: I overheard a salesgirl in the San Francisco location tell a customer that their particular location was good for sale items. I think (if I heard correctly) that many of the items get shipped to their store FROM other stores when they go on sale. The sale selection wasn't too hot when I went, but I've been to that store before, and sometimes they're just overcrowded with sale stuff. This isn't the downtown location, btw; there's another one in a mall tucked away in a residential area (not sure of the name). Hope this helps! :)

  156. Anon @ 6:38, there should be no tax shipping & handling charges on nontaxable items. Check out the PA state law! Does PA collect any taxes from out of state retailers though?

It works that way for nontaxable items in NY. However, for taxable items, NY law requires retailers to collect taxes shipping & handling charges too. Sucks. So say an order of a $165 item end up costing nearly $200.

I found the Juliets to be very comfortable. I own them in black patent. I wore them the other day to a conference and they didn't hurt my feet, which is new for me! I find them to run a little big, so you can size down a half size if desired. HTH

  163. Something I have just recently observed is that all my on-line orders are now coming in the flat brown envelopes not the boxes. I only noticed this due to the fact that I had quite the stash left over from Christmas, and just threw them away.
I only mentioned this because the shipping has not gone down with the flat brown envelopes.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Argyle -- I have the Juliets in driftwood and serengeti. The Driftwood pair fit great and are very comfortable. The serengeti rub/pinch on the top of one foot in an uncomfortable way. I wear them anyway, of course, because I love the look. In my experience, they do not run big.

  165. I am also posting this in the TJMaxx thread...
I was lucky enough to score a pair of Trixie heels in the black dot pattern thanks to 'Lynzeeroo' from her local TJMaxx. Too bad for me they don't fit :(
I am a true 10 but these pinch my toes, they have the same fit as the Juliet. (which for me was too tight in the toe box and felt 1/2 size small)
I am putting these up for grabs if anyone is interested.
Size 10 Trixie, black dot w/ pink bow. $40 shipped.
(prob a narrow 10 or 9 -9.5 could wear these)

  169. All JCA's: For anyone still looking for the Target pearl cluster necklace, they had 2 at the store in Lombard, IL. Both are still marked full price, $10.99.

IL JCA's: I went to the TJ Maxx in Oak Brook, IL today. Didn't find any clothing, but there were 4 pairs of shoes total. One silver pair of city flats in 9.5 (good condition), two pairs of gold strappy heels- one with a thick criss-cross across the toes and an ankle strap, the other had a thin cris-cross by the toes with an "x" like bow on top. Sorry, I don't follow JC shoes so much, so I have no idea what the names are. And I checked my catalogs to no avail. These shoes were a 7.5 and a 6. There was a third pair that must have been another pair of gold strappy heels, in a 6.5, but I can't remember for sure. Those were definitely the sizes though for the four pair they did have. I also saw some BabyGap bedding at the store, which I have never seen before.

Since I purchased quite a bit of jewelry at rock-bottom prices from BR today, I decided to forgo J.Crew on my mall stop since I don't have anything on my "wish list" based on the spring catalog. *pats self on back for being able to show alleged restraint* :)

  171. I am looking for the denim high waisted skirt in an 8. It has eluded me so many times! Does anyone have one NWT or gently used they are willing to part with?

  172. suilove - the walnut creek store had 6 or 7 pairs of giraffe shorts this afternoon. i actually tried on a 2 but didn't buy it, so it might still be there :)

also, slightly off topic -- does anyone own the harper sweater? i'm really tempted to buy, but not sure if the neckline looks good in real life... i'd love to hear your take on it!

  173. Anon at 6:38pm. You should be charged that tax on all your shipments. Even if you are not, the retailer still has to pay it.

Gwen @ 11:38. I know the Danbury, CT store has a full rack of the new denim pencil skirt.

Kittykat - I have received 4 orders in the last two weeks, all in boxes. It has always depended on the size or number of items for those envelopes. It is nothing new, when I have only ordered one item or two tiny items ( like t-shirts) they always ship in those envelopes.

  174. OT, but since some people mentioned Gap sweaters I thought I'd let you guys know the v-neck pullovers are on sale for $25 this weekend. There's also this sweater on final sale in a medium- I saw my aunt wearing one and it looks great IRL!

  175. anon 5:41 & Kittycat: I am too receiving all my items in enveloppes instead of boxes. I had a order shipped in the mailer enveloppe ( 5 items) and by the time it got to me it was in bad shape. I see the use of the mailer for lightweight items, but heavier items should be in a box.

  176. Paper Bag Princess -

I got the order confirmation for the Coralie's and they were not listed as Final Sale! I am crossing my fingers that they fit, but if not I suppose they are returnable...

  179. Anon at 6.38 - I also lived in PA for a long time and I noticed that the tax of a couple of dollars (on S&H) started appearing last year - before that there was always zero tax (which was great, I notice the difference now that I live and ship elsewhere) - anyway, I guess J.Crew must have been paying it before/not charging the customer but now that changed - but if it makes you feel better, it started being charged to me over 6mo ago....

  183. Argyle - I have the Juliets in black and the turq. I wore the turq without any pain and with some walking involved. I was impressed & got lots of compliments on the color. Haven't taken the black for a long spin, but they feel great.

I really strongly feel these are TTS. I am a 7.5M, but sometimes prefer an 8. I tried the 8 in these on more than one occasion and they didn't fit. I am happy with my 7.5s. HTH

  184. sulilove - Saw giraffe shorts in SF yesterday, but only size 6 and up. Also saw the eyelet mini. It was $40 on sale there and only 8, 10 & 12 in that. It wasn't on sale in WC when I was there a few days ago, but maybe they have put it on sale.

  186. Do the metallic lulus run big I wear a 7.5 or 8? What size do I need? Can I get away with an 8 or will they be to big?

  187. Hey, in case anyone sees a snow
leopard print cardigan in small or medium could you let me know? My email is jenniferbtate at hotmail dot com? Thanks!

  188. Suilove, I saw the Giraffe Print shorts in size 2 at Garden State Plaza today in Secaucas, NJ. Unfortunately the store is not open on Sundays, but you could try calling them on Monday.

  189. I just left a very long post on the TJMaxx thread - but I wanted to put the info here as well. If you are in the Bay Area, check out Jeremy's in SF b/c they have a ton of JC stuff. I was able to get a cashmere tee (last season's style with rolled edges) and a brown tweed pants for $39. Check out my other post for all the goods I saw there - good luck to anyone who makes it over there!

  190. I hit the Madison Avenue and Rockefeller Center stores yesterday and I was VERY lucky. There was no additional % off the sales BUT it meant that there was no FS. I snagged a Daisy mini (it was the only one at the MA store, probably a return, in a size 0. I have to say that for the first time I found that the 0 for a JCrew skirt is a little bit tight but it wasn't FS, so I can still return it or sell it on the great weekly exchange post). The Rockefeller center had plenty of snow-leopard print cardi in all the sizes AND a pile of giraffe-print shorts (I was able to found a 2, but they had many 6 and at least a 0). I also found a pair of the crackle Mary-Janes in pewter in my size (a 7) for $79 that I have been looking for forever (my husband said that they look like they have been worn and I replied that that's the style, although they ARE a little bit tired). All in all I spent $300 that I hadn't planned to thanks to the fact that I can return everything (I'm sure that I'm going to keep almost everything). The only FP item that I bought is the new rumpled terry cardi in white: I love that it's a cardi and the shawl collar and I'm sure that I'm going to wear it a lot at the playground this spring (and it wasn't that expensive at $59.50).

  191. Pakcola,
I have similar J.Crew wellies (mine are from a few years ago, but same color) and wore them Friday. I wore them with J.Crew matchstick jeans tucked inside. I received TONS of compliments on them. So glad they kept my feet dry that day. It was pouring!

  192. Was at Woodbury Outlets on Friday. The Crew store had 40% off on all clearance (60% on crewcuts) but stock was hit or miss.

The had a pretty good collection of spring stuff. Surprisingly some of their spring line is from regular spring line of'08. They had better selection of hair accessories than what they carry online or in regular stores.

  193. Anon @ 7:00pm - The savoys just came in gold. It's not the same gold as the metallic Lulus that looks silvery, it's definitely gold. The same shade as the Twylas and the Mackenzie heels I believe.

Anon @ 7:34 - The Lulus run big, I would size down or at least get your regular size. Sizing up would not be a good idea!

  195. Hey Jaymie

Cool, I'll probably try it tomorrow since supposedly a "storm" is coming to SoCal, I just hope people dont wonder what those things are on my feet...Wet weather is pretty foreign to people down here :P

  196. starla729,
I saw a couple of XS snow leopard cardigans too in Wilmington, NC!

  197. Pakcola,
I know what you mean. I see so many people wearing Ugg-type boots when it's raining out and when they see wellies it's like weird or something. Rock those wellies with pride! :)
