I got the tie waist shorts in pink and chambray. I love the fit but the pink with the large bow feel too...girly...deciding if I should keep the chambray in addition to the black which I like. Aside from the bow.

ReplyDeleteThe mini skirt in fringey lace in a miss for me. I tried the red on but also ordered the ivory (or white, but it looks ivory.) I normally don't mind exposed zippers but something about this made it feel cheaper than it is. The lace itself is pretty. For a mini, the length is modest. It's definitely cute but doesn't wow me. I also think it ran a little loose.
Sailor pants in heavy linen. I got the white, size 0. They do run a tiny bit loose but the last thing I want is tight white pants. I tried them on with light gray underwear and you can see the outline a little so I need to wear nude or white. They will probably loosen up a bit. The leg is not too wide, the length is really perfect on me. I have an event next week and I tried them on with a white linen Rhodes blazer and I feel very chic.
Black Rhodes pants in linen. These are a really nice classic black linen pant. There is a subtle herringbone in the linen. They're ankle length. I actually wish I got the full length black linen pants from last summer, but like the white pants above I tried these on with a black linen regent blazer, and it makes a nice pulled together outfit. Oddly I didn't like the Rhodes pant in white at all.
They will probably loosen up a bit. The leg is not too wide, the length is really perfect on me. I have an event next week and I tried them on with a white linen Rhodes blazer and I feel very chic.
