  1. I tried on the JCrew Biker Boot, which is on sale, and they were amazingly comfortable. It's been a while since I've tried on JCrew shoes and felt that way about them. I didn't care for where they hit my leg, but it led me to look on the website for other boots. I saw the Frankie boots and the next time I was in store I tried them on in the black tumbled leather and the warm sepia. Again, also super comfortable and the perfect ankle boot. These are the type of boots you don't have to break in and don't run narrow.

I think they'll be perfect travel boots, because you can sight see for 8-10 hours without the boots feeling heavy or binding. I want them to go on sale, so it's more reasonable for me to get both colors.

  2. OT: Jessica, I tried on the Frankie boot and loved it too. But I ended up purchasing the Madewell Cait Boot. They come in black and brown and are a combo of suede and leather. The fit was great and they are so comfortable, I wore them all day on Wednesday. They are on sale and included in the 25% off and free shipping if you don't have a store close by. HTH.

    1. Thanks, I'd check them out, except suede is unbelievably high maintenance in the Pacific NW.

  3. I just receieved my cashmere mini cable sweater with the shoulder buttons..I LOVE IT!!!! Just am in love with it. I got size small, so it must run small. I am 5'4" and 106 lbs, you would think I'd be XS but nope, small was perfect. The red is kind of a flame red, and it really looks wonderful with camel or even the pink coat I've been blabbing about in another thread. I just put the gray one on my Xmas list, this is a sweater I will use for a decade, I am sure of it.
