"Looking to LOVE" with J.Crew

  1. Love a good J Crew technical glitch. Everything I bought this morning NOT final sale is now final sale. I did buy some things on deep discount to try and to get the free shipping, so I will be keeping my order confirmation in the event I need to take anything back.

    1. Same thing happened to me early yesterday morning. Already received the shipping notice. Yay for getting back on track with processing orders in a timely fashion! Also shipping notice did not state final sale. Here's to hoping the invoice does not either!!! On top of that I have gotten some killers deals and loved most of the pieces. For once I have loves and not vents!!!

    2. guess that wasn't my imagination! I added a few things to my cart this morning and when I went back to check out later in the morning looks like things had flipped over. I thought I was maybe going crazy. Haha.

    3. Strangely some items from sale + additional 40% not final (like, a certain colors of a cashmere tee, and some other).

      A week ago during that week of sales, one day the uptown tote in black and "natural color" were discounted to around $70! Sure I got those!

      The glitches happen when they update site, especially between different promo; not as often as in the past, but they still do.

      Do you remember that glitch from a couple of years ago when a cashmere tee was listed at $19 (or 18) instead of 119?

  2. Love the super 120s zip back shell that's on super sale! Drapes nicely, good length, and nice four-season wool.

    1. Agreed - I've gotten a lot of wear out of mine, and its quite a deal right now. This item isn't for everyone - it is a loose fit, and some might choose to size down. The fabric is not quite as smooth as the rest of my 120's items.

  3. I have purchased a lot this year but kept very little, so I feel that much more appreciative of the things I've retained. One of them has to be the Perfect shirt in linen. This is an oldie, of course, but what I love the most is that they haven't tampered with this one. It still fits like a glove and hugs my body in all the right places in my usual size 4, the linen is soft and lightweight without being too sheer, and most of all -- it just makes me feel like a million bucks when I wear it. I got three out of the five colors offered this year, but the gorgeous green (emerald pool) has simply won my heart.

    1. Totally agree -- I have 4 different colors & they're in heavy rotation all summer long for me. Hope they keep this around in its current "perfect"-ness for years to come.

    1. Wow, what a gorgeous pattern! How do you feel about the wrap/opening? Does it work ok when you sit down?

    2. carmencatalina: I agree, it's a great print! I feel covered when I sit down, but the "faux wrap" does open a bit. There is one review on the website that does not suggest that the person had problems when sitting down. HTH!
