Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. I went into a store. I bought the foulard guaze tunic, which I'll review next.

The surfboard sweater is popular. I've seen it multiples times when I'm out and about. Reviewed in this post with the eyelet sweatshirt.

  4. Went to make a return. So bummed the beautiful scattered floral dress did not work out for me. I did a review on JC website if anyone is interested. The dress is even prettier in person but fit is tricky because of the front of the bodice. Got a few goodies on deep sale at Factory including the crystal crush necklace for $12! Was able to track down the floral cove collection dress at the collection store on Madison thanks to a lovely online VPS. The dress went on sale and of course sold out in my size online. The store honored the online price plus 30%. I also got a price adjustment on the crystal cove drawstring pant. I ordered those one week ago and they just shipped on Friday so I haven't even received them yet. I also got the silk cami in fuschia and love it. The color is gorgeous.

  5. OT but the Sunday Styles section of the NYT had a bit about Jenna. "In a project with Paperless Post, Ms. Lyons has overseen a line of electronic stationery....The design is quintessentially J Crew...with neon hues, bold prints and carefully chosen fonts."

  6. I didn't get to a store but I did place an order online - trying the cove floral track pant, pink geo pencil skirt, collection jeweled boyfriend tee and the etched plaid collection pants...definitely a popback since I think these are from last year?
I have to second the love for the silk cami in fuschia - it's a gorgeous color and so flattering!

    1. Shopping Celle - I was hoping to see them on A Trail of Sequins, but I don't. I did see Maqsad Shops in the dress, if you haven't seen it and want to get an idea of the print.

    2. Good thinking Gigi. These look right up their alley too. I'm almost temped to take a shot on them but pants this season are not running predictable as before. I took a 4 in the misty fog floral, a 4 was huge in the silk abstract coral pant and needed a 6 in the photo lace pant. Hopefully someone can help me out!

    3. Shopping Celle - Abstract coral was a different cut than these, I think, and definitely had pleats. These pant don't look like they had pleats.

I would call CS for measurements. I try to get waist & hip for 2 sizes & that usually helps. Good thing is online isn't fs :)

    5. Hi Shopping Celle! I do have those pants, and yes, they're an awesome deal. They fit like all the other cafe capris I've posted about and the fabric is lovely. The dress post that Gigi mentioned shows a true to life pic if the fabric. I'll post a picture of the pants on me if I can find it. I wore them to an Easter egg hunt! :) they fit true to size for me: I took my usual 00 for cafe capris. HTH!
