Purchased the Gingham bubble dress late last night with the HISUMMER promo only to discover it had been marked down to 99.99 overnight still with the promo. Emailed customer service and granted the price adjustment so got the dress for $69. I'm so glad it's always that easy to get a price adjustment rather than having to call. Thanks, JC!
ReplyDeleteWanted to get a price adjustment on the gemstone floral dress that I had bought at full price (178) in store a little while ago but I lost the receipt. Emailed customer service just to ask if they could somehow look up my purchase using my credit card info and send me a receipt and I would go to the store myself and try to deal with the price adjustment. But they went way beyond my request and granted me the price adjustment based on the in store price (129.99) plus 40% off right then and there, so I don't even need to do anything myself! Saved me 100 dollars!
ReplyDeleteLadies, I'm glad you received such great customer service.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with both of you about the level of service JC offers nowadays. I will never forget the time about 6-7 years ago when I called CS to get a 10% price adjustment on a pair of FULL PRICED jeans that had been purchased ten days prior. (At that time, adjustments were allowed only on purchases made within one week.) The CS rep was agreeable, but said that she had to check with her manager who, after lecturing me on the policy, flatly denied my request. Ha! That's one thing I don't miss about those past years! Knowing how helpful today's CS at JC is helps me forgive those "As a one-time courtesy..." drilled-into-them responses.
