This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI went this weekend. 50% off final sale items. Got a good deal on the Linen Abstract Flower Sweater and the Side-Slit Soft Pencil Skirt in black.
Some reviews here.
Anyone have a guess whether J Crew will bring back the dreaded Final Sale on all sale items soon?
ReplyDeleteI like how they are doing it now, with only the extra 50% off items being final sale. I hope they don"t change it, but I bet they will.
Review of the linen studded tank and chambray drawstring pants.
ReplyDeleteJust got a call from my store that they are having mark downs this morning and also putting the 50% back on sale today. It was back to 40% off when I went by yesterday. They must really need to move some merchandise.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from the store. They had marked down the paneled sweatshirt in surf stripe to $59.99 less 50% off and also the blue print and the black linen chevron maxi dress to $99.99. There were also some t shirts. I wish the white with blue chevron maxi had been marked down but I asked and they said just the black.
ReplyDeleteDD, Is the black chevron maxi eligible for the 50% off now that it's been marked down?
DeleteYes it was and the store in Knoxville, TN had a bunch on the rack.
DeleteThanks!
DeleteI went to the Burlington MA store - kind of a hike for me - on Friday. No refreshments. No reference to any Friday flash sale, but all sale stuff was an additional 50% off. Stuffed sale racks - not much moving. I bought a pair of Andie's for $22.50 (they started at $90!?!) and some small accessories.
ReplyDeleteIn the Crewcuts section, some of the prices are still way too high.
Sharing a pic of the Sicilia scarf. Pretty print.
ReplyDeletethe scarf is currently 30% off w/HISUMMER
Deleteregarding new markdowns made today, does anyone know if any jewelry made the cut? I would love to grab some pieces if they are at the extra 50 percent off price. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI double checked and there was only one necklace I believe. I was looking for jewelry as well.
DeleteI angrily shake my fist at that. come on, j. crew! let me get some of your wonderfully obnoxious necklaces at a more affordable price!
DeleteI just bought the surfboard tee, the embroidered tunic in white (I already have and love the chambray one), the crepe gauze sweatshirt sweater and the crystal fiesta necklace (even though it was only fp less 30% - I really like it and $35 is perfectly reasonable for it IMO.
ReplyDeleteOn Friday, I shopped the 3 suburban stores that I pass on my drive home. All had 50% off sale, cupcakes and bottled water. Signage varied. Price tickets weren't updated. I bought a stack of basics - 3 Jackies ($20), 2 Tippis ($12.50 & $22), Mon Cheri sweatshirt ($17.50), Silver Perforated Cleos, Calf hair Ettas ($75) and a tipped $10 merino sweater. I spent just under $227 for >$1050 retail. The sale sections were packed - but mostly medium and larger sizes.
ReplyDeleteAn SA from my local store called this morning to let me know about additional markdowns and 50% off. I'm hoping that some of the items from my wishlist have been marked down.
Has anyone tried on the Jacquard back-zip sweatshirt (item A6113)? Just kind of wondering about the sizing and/or fit. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteStopped by Danbury, CT's store to make some returns and figured I might as well look around. (I swore off Danbury's store months ago...my thoughts on this store are the same as Alexis's). It was 50% off final sale with a lot...schoolboy's marked down to 129.99 + half off, tons of dresses, tees, tops, etc. I tried on a bunch, ended up with 3 pairs of 5" chino shorts and the foundry short all for around $50.
ReplyDeleteI went to my local store today and the 50% off sale was running, the clothes seemed so so, nothing wowed me but I scored big on the shoes, picked up two pairs of Emma ballet flats in the pink and orange for $25 each and the red perforated Cleo's for $30. The blue perforated Cleo's were marked down to $25 after the discount but they didn't have my size.
