This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.
So
if you have recently purchased,
or stopped by a J.Crew store to try
on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you
might be willing to share that
information with us in this post.
Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.
In
particular, if you could
mention a few of the noteworthy
details like fit, size, fabric, and the
like— that would be fantastic! Thanks
in advance! :)
Styling the half zip sweater and Winona suede loafers on the blog today. Both run TTS.

I love the Winona loafers. I got them in Adobe clay and would get a second pair if they had a dark color option.
DeleteAre those the same loafers you’re wearing? The shape looks different and the piping on the Winona isn’t on those. It’s nice that the colors match the sweater so well but it looks like a different shoe.
DeleteIt’s too bad the sweater is not a great blend of fibers because the shape is nice. Curious as to how it will wear.
These loafers look like last year's Cecile smoking slippers in suede. They were very comfortable and gorgeous material. Really reminiscent of ol' JCrew.
DeleteFactory has launched new arrivals and I believe that some of the colors will be the same or very similar to when Jcrew launches theirs on the 28th of this month. As far as Jcrew’s launch, start checking for new items. With ship dates for previously preordered listed as the 28th or 29th I wouldn’t be surprised. This has normally been the case. Here’s hoping the launch is far better than the previous ones.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope things are better--colors and tailoring. Almost all of the pants and skirts have elastic waists.
DeleteI'll check out the Factory colors.
Lynn I really love the deep moss color of the Classic field jacket I got. I don’t have much in that color but did get a similarly colored cashmere mockneck last year from Everlane. JCrew only has one sweater in that color right now which I don’t like (with that weird ruffle edge collar). I’d definitely consider a bag or shoes in a similar shade, so I’m keeping my eyes open for that. I love how it looks with red and black.

ReplyDeleteAnyone know what to expect in menswear before Babenzien's designs hits stores next year? Are they just going through old inventory?
