Weekly Share: Other JCrew-like Retailers

This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent" posts), where we can share our finds from other retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew (like Anthropologie, LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann Taylor, and the like.)

If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including experiences with certain merchandise pieces, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. Posted a pic of a pair of the banana pants I recently purchased on IG @wearthislikethis. The high rise, wide leg pants which are currently on sale with an additional 60 plus ten percent off. Also wearing an Everlane sweater I found “hidden” on sale. It was final sale but I already had the same in black so I was comfortable ordering.
Today was the first time I put the pants on for a few hours and they really are as comfortable as sweatpants and don’t even have an elastic waist.

    2. They are called HIGH-RISE Wide-leg pants and only come in black. The model is wearing a black cami.
Re the size chart: My measurements these days are a tiny bit bigger than the size 2 but the size 2 fits generously. The 0 fit as well. So honestly I’d follow the size chart but size down of they will be really loose.
