Well I finally got my banana sequin pants, and I really like the black but they’re short. I think the bronze runs looser and longer. I have the XXS coming in the bronze so I’ll compare. They’re odd length on me, ok with flats but would either need to be two inches longer or shorter to wear with heels or platforms. I’m going to try with other shoes but they don’t work with the intended. 😞
ReplyDeleteI've shortened too short pants to turn them into crop length pants. I did not receive mine yet, so i'll have to wait to find out.
DeleteI was thinking that but with the lining and the sequin it may cost more than the pants. I tried to cuff them under and it didn’t work. Maybe I’ll try duct tape.

Oh, I did the sewing myself! I'm not great, but good enough to hem pants if I am patient.

DeleteI took a small chance and ordered the High-rise wide-leg trouser in leopard Item AQ617 that are selling for $9.99. I went with my usual 4. The print is well represented by the photos, it is darker with a bit of red. The quality is good for poly, and they are lined, and very comfortable. They are long enough to reach my ankles. Like them for WFH wear with a black turtleneck.
ReplyDeleteI have the silk scarf in that leopard color way and like it because it’s rich. I just tried on my never worn silk blend leopard sweater and my rarely worn leopard ankle boots. Don’t tempt me with the pants!
DeleteI'm wearing them today with a black tneck and black suede Willa boots. Still like these pants for $9.99, and may send some as gifts tonight to my sister in law and my stepson's girlfriend. I'm happy with my usual size 4. With my large thighs they are really what I'd call a straight leg trouser rather than a wide leg. Even slightly tapered, though they fit loosely over the boot top. There are pockets, and belt loops so I covered the elastic back with a belt.
