ReplyDeleteI stopped in after my banana returns.
ReplyDeleteFull price at crew was 40 off. I looked around and saw a relaxed fit cotton shirt that felt really nice. I think it was Relaxed-fit crisp cotton poplin shirt Item AW716 because it had navy stitching on the cuff button BUT I see there is also a relaxed washed cotton shirt. The label inside the collar said relaxed.
The only other item I was interested in was the vintage cotton jogger and sweatshirt. I liked the texture and feel of the cotton but didn’t feel like trying on.
Not sure of exclusions in store.
Sale section at crew was 50 off I think, but sparse. A few random coats, and the newer navy pants with the white tipping and mostly other stuff that’s been sitting there.
Store was quiet with a few people on line but it was nice to see some newer merchandise.
Styling the Collection's lattice floral button down on the blog. Fit is TTS. Nice weight to fabric reminiscent of vintage J.Crew offerings. Also styled it with some older J.Crew pieces.

DeleteI received the gingham cashmere sweater (AW108) last week. It's heavier cashmere than I expected (more of a thick sweater -- not like the weight of the cashmere crewnecks) and it's a little boxier than I expected as well. I really like it though -- wore once and washed once (cold delicate/drying rack dry) and it's not pilling at all. Looks very cute with jeans. Am pleased with the purchase! Ordered my tippi/margot size L and don't think a smaller size would have worked.
