"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. Any IG users with recommendations of good JCrew hashtags to follow? I unfollowed the #jcrewstyle hashtag yesterday because I got too annoyed by photos of people showing off their tartans unmasked in public indoor spaces as if we're not in the middle of a pandemic that's getting worse. After I read one purported lawyer's humblebrag (while wearing the pink stewart tartan) about booking a 3-week vacation in St. Lucia for NYE, I decided it was better for my mental health I don't see any of that anymore. But I love seeing how normal people style their JC for inspo so looking for maybe less "fashion blogger"-used hashtags that still capture the JC content.

  2. When I remember to tag, I use #alljcrew (for outfits that are all crew) #jcasofinstagram (for the JCAs out there. this is a pretty popular tag for real life JC) and when one is lamenting about modern day JC quality -- or showing off a great high quality old JC item then I use the tag #revivejcrew
