  1. Email says valid in stores only, $75 cashmere (limit 5), 50 percent off full price and 60 percent off sale. I would imagine they’re trying to reduce store stock. Maybe after 12/24 we will get a better reduction online. Who knows!

    1. I saw that too and thought the same thing. But I'm super busy with work right up to Christmas Eve, so a shopping trip is not likely. Also they need to promote the stores since it's getting too late now to ship in time for Christmas gifts.

    2. Darn. I do not have a store anymore.

    3. I got one or two emails from crew today. That was not one of them. I do mall “errands” and am still shopping, too.

  2. I've received some items from the recent sales, mostly gifts for the husband and grown children. But I did go for the leopard calf-hair block heel boots, which ran about $11 with a $10 discount applied. They wouldn't do well on the streets with the calf-hair wrapped heel (!) but are fun for primarily inside wear. And at $11 I won't be too sad when they get shabby.

Speaking of boots, I've been wearing my black Nordic boots with the shearling lining and last year's Chateau puffer. Got to say they are both all-time-ever favorites. The boots are totally comfortable for all day wear (and TTS large enough for thick socks). The puffer is a cheering color (cerise with a hot pink lining) and I love the double exterior pockets (you can stash stuff safely in the snap pocket and still have a place for your hands), the sherpa lined hood, the high collar, and adjustable waistline.

I also ended up with the olive green lace button up with attached cami. At $6 after the $10 discount it was easy to take a final sale chance. It's a trim fitting blouse, and popular with the hubs. The cami isn't great, but it works fine. If you happened to have one that matched you could use your own. Also at the same price, the Collection silk twill 'goat' button up. I wasn't going to get a goat blouse, but at the price I went ahead. The silk is a nice weight and the colors are very very bright. The navy background reads close enough to wear as black. It fits a bit larger than the lace blouse, but I wouldn't have gone down a size.

    2. Nordic boots and the cerise chateau puffer are among my most worn winter items. I do wish the puffer was as long as the wintress from previous seasons because I prefer the extra length but for our Typical NJ weather for short amounts of time outside it’s fine.
I admit I’m disappointed there isn’t a longer down or down alternative this year. My Wintress somehow ripped and I was tempted to replace it but opted for a needle and thread instead!

    3. I finally bought the Nordic boots this year and love them also. They are very comfy and I can’t believe that I didn’t buy them years ago. I also love my Chateau puffer but like you @Suz really love my Wintress for length and warmth.

    4. @pbanos re the leopard boots are they the roxies with the low heel and the cap toe or the higher heel boot.
I admit I have been tempted by the low price on the Roxie boots even though I sold my black, snake and red patent ones for various reasons. 😆

    5. They are the higher heel. Look pretty nice for $11...husband approved today. They have a back zip like the Roxie. They work well with black, being a darker print.

  5. Not sure if current cashmere prices are going to make me buy but I’ve got my eye on the ribbed cashmere cardigan in pine. I was scrolling Pinterest the other day and came across an older crew catalog shot that had a blue striped button down and forest green cardi. Made me want to add a green cardi. Has anyone seen in person? Reviews say cropped but that’s probably ok if over a button down?

    1. @ Liz, Hi it’s a beautiful sweater that I purchased in the Heather Muslin. Yes, it is cropped but looks very nice on. I tried a button down with it and it looks good although I will be wearing it without a shirt. I’m in a warm climate. Just make sure if you purchase you get it for at least a minimum price of $86.00. I think it’s a fair price for the quality. If it goes down I can’t imagine it will go for less than $75.00 but who knows. Good luck if you decide. I sized down one and it fit perfectly.

    2. Hi Ladies, I really want that cashmere cardigan but it’s $308 Cdn and was never included in the promo we finally had for Black Friday. I hope it works for you @Liz if you try it! @Lynn thanks again for your input and review of the cardigan.

    3. Went to store! Sale section small 60 off
All cashmere 75. Got the last cropped cardigan in black. Got 2 cashmere pieces as gifts and used $ 50 off. Store is empty. But I went 10:15, so they just opened! Good overall !

    4. @Kate, that’s amazing! I’m so jealous but happy for you!

    5. Thanks everyone for chiming in here! I ended up purchasing. I’ll watch for a better price (I hate the pricing games). Pinterest always gets me in trouble - I search for years past crew looks and then impulsively buy something if an item I need to make the look isn’t in my closet. Ah well. Can never go wrong with cashmere!

    6. @Kate, @liztiden I'm happy you both wound up with the cardigan. I like short cardigans better than longer ones!

I have a cashmere cardigan that my Mom wore in high school. It's thin at the elbows, but zero pilling. I don't wear it often, but when I do I am amazed to be wearing a sweater that is over 60 years old. Nothing is made like that anymore, except maybe clothing for Queen Elizabeth II.

    7. Thanks all. Just an FYI. All $10 coupons must be presented in store! I had pics on my phone and they needed a hard copy! But I was happy with prices right before the holiday!!!! I had the $50 coupon with me! So used it for the cashmere wrap for my boss and cashmere sweater for a good friend/coworker

  6. Stopped in store tonight to pick up some Angel Tree gifts with my son. My store (Northpark Center) had the Collection Cashmere Honeycomb Rollneck sweater in ivory. I agree with the reviews; it's a very nice sweater. Cashmere is soft & it's really well made. It was excluded from promo (20% off cashmere), but you can use a student/teacher discount and the $50 off coupon.
