"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. I ordered a long sleeve tee with a monogram... received it and it was an appropriately labeled clear item bag with item name, monogram order, the initials I wanted. I open it up and no monogram!! What the heck. I emailed CS and said just refund me the cost of the monogram and I'll keep it as-is (which they did right away), but geez. I assume monogram ordered stuff goes thru special channels, so to send a blank item seems so careless. Anyway, that's just my mini rant, haha.

  2. Item AQ820 Slouchy Boyfriend Jean in Outlaw Wash. Opinions please? Have you noticed Jcrew changed the image of the failed tie neck blouse? Still won’t sell. I returned mine immediately.

    1. One time my husband had some weird impulse to shake the bleach in laundry room. Top popped off and bleach splashed on various clothes, mostly mine. I wore some stuff for a while just to poke him a little.

I hate it when clothing is not like the model shot - granted those may be pre-production items - but retailers should have the sense to show the right image for selling based on pictures.

    2. @pbanos, funny story about hubby. Thanks. Stay safe up there and well. I decided not to order the jeans. I really don’t need anything.

    3. I think the jeans are cute but knowing myself is just DIY with a pair of jeans I already own to get that look. I have not tried the slouchy BF Jean but I’m not loving the way crew jeans fit me these days.
