Got email from J Crew - they are closing their Factory stores in Canada Jan 24. Sad to see more people lose their jobs. Online orders will continue. Code for unimpressive 15% off Thankyou15 (good only in Canada until Jan 31, not stackable, and I'm sure there will be better discounts available in the future).
ReplyDeleteI've placed maybe 2 or 3 orders for J Crew Factory over the years, and have always been a little disappointed with the price-value proposition. (But I do have to recalibrate my price comparisons since J Crew (non Factory) is no longer offering the amazing discounts to Canadians.)
I was at the factory store in Vancouver a few weeks ago. women's section was bare..men's was full. I was hoping to get a winter vest...no luck. other than a few items every year factory was disappointing.
Deleteagree about the stingy no promos for Canadian with reg J Crew. I am keeping my fingers crossed for black Friday or Cyber Monday.
I also got an email that JCrew is closing the retail stores, only Yorkdale left but that’s so sad. Shop15 is the code for 15% off, not stackable pretty sad code. Only good until Nov 22.
Delete@jan, oh my jan. This is so sad and how cheap Jcrew is for offering such pathetic discounts. Wonder what they will do with the merchandise they have now. Liquidate most likely. Again, so sad for all of you up there. Stay safe and hope you’re all well.

Delete@Heather, I think they’re just pulling out of Canada. They pulled out of the UK recently I believe. I’m sure they’ll close some US stores in general but I think stores in the US will be their focus.
