No vent. Glad to see 40% off promo. Wanted to order a couple of things for vacation and both were included: Flutter sleeve denim mini dress. Love that it’s cotton and has pockets. Ordered a tall and really liked the look of it on @stylebymaca. Also ordered SZ Blockprint bikini bottom. I have the top already and bought during a previous 40% promo, but bottoms were excluded for some reason. So, waited until they were included. The print is really nice. Waiting on kaleidoscope halter top to arrive. It’s included in 50%, but wasn’t final sale when I ordered. So, hoping it works since this would be a nice top to take with me. 1720 sale items this morning. Nothing that I need & FS is a good deterrent,
ReplyDeleteno Canadian promo.
DeleteMy Midi slip skirt in grid floral in melon arrived this week. I ordered 1 size up as reviews indicated it ran small, and it was the right thing to do. It's a beautiful color and pattern, even though I'm not a fan of the coral/orange family. I slipped it on to try and UGH gross poly feel! It was that icky cheap slippy polyester - for some reason I misread "slip" as "silk" so my mistake. The description says viscose, but the label says viscose/poly. It looks like the exterior of the skirt is viscose but it's backed by polyester to give it weight and hold it down - that's the part that's against the skin and giving me the poly willies. I returned it yesterday which is sad because it is very pretty and the blue version is also very pretty. I wish it was SILK instead - they finally come up with a pretty print but skimp on the fabric.
ReplyDeleteNot a vent, does anyone have the belt bags in pebbled leather?
ReplyDeleteThey’re not bad at the sale price if they’re good size for iPhone plus and card holder. Even better if they can fit glasses. Help!
Think you should measure your I phone. The bag is 4 1/2"H x 6 7/8"W x 1 7/8"D but it tapers less wide at the bottom. So it may be 6" at 3" down?
DeleteApple iPhone XS Max is 6.2" so that could be an issue.Apple iPhone XS is 5.65" so that might fit. But if you have a Plus or Max model with the large screen it would be a close call. Or if you think you will get a bigger one.
You’re right. I measured previously and that’s why I hesitated. My phone with case is almost 6.5. Too close to make it feasible. Ok, money saved. Thanks.
DeletePaperbag shorts. As they’re rayon my concern was thinness and Washability.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been eyeing them since they came out and decided to try. Reviews said to size down and I could really go either way. Out of the bag they’re wrinkly but steamed they look nice. They are thin but lightweight and so comfortable. At an extra 50 off I’m tempted to get the olive as well as the black. With a drapey black top they look like a romper in a good way.
Still no idea if they’ll look like garbage after washing though.
They would look well on you. Rayon is a bit of work to keep looking well - hand washing, no twisting, flatten out wrinkles and air dry. The good part is it feels good, drapes well and holds color.
DeleteThey’re machine wash but I’m concerned since a few reviewers were not favorable after washing.
DeleteThey do happen to look good though.
DeleteWow! Nice work J.Crew. Post all over social media about the awesome promo 'fireworks' but don't let Canadians enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so over the constant price changes and now Canada gets hosed again!
Yeah, I was confused yesterday, thought I’d made a typo, then realized that we’re excluded. They know who their CDN customers are — so much for big data.
