Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I know somebody probably asked that before but i have a poshmark question.
Trying to find some of the old boyfriend 100% merino sweaters and ordered two at poshmark.
One arrived in pristine condition and the other one (different seller) had two stains on the front.
What is the process to get my money back and how long does it take?
How is customerservice at poshmark and will i get my money back?
    TIA

    1. When you open up the item and are signed it a dialog box appears where you can accept the delivery or file a complaint. I suggest you take a photo of the stains and include it, since that should make the resolution easy. Plus note the condition that the seller represented if relevant. You do not pay until you accept the item. Then you should get a response from Posh in a couple of days - most likely they will send you a label so you can mail it back (no charge).

    4. Did you accept the shipment? You are not charged until you accept. I do not think you can return after you accept it.

    5. I had this issue and was able to cancel. Take pics. There’s a button. I’ll go to the site to find it.

    6. There’s a “problems/order inquiry” button, you can post pics there.

    7. They will absolutely refund you as long as you haven't yet accepted the order, and get them pictures within the three day window from time of delivery. Sorry for the let down!

    8. Once you purchase an item from Poshmark you are immediately charged for it, before it even ships. Now you will have to try to get your money back. I think you will have success based on what you describe

    10. @Ina Mack - You should have no problem returning a Poshmark item with undisclosed defects. Be absolutely sure to open a case within 3 days of delivery and don’t hit the accept button. At 3 days, your order will auto-accept and it’s nearly impossible to return at that point, so don’t delay if you want to return. I’ve returned quite a few Poshmark items, unfortunately.

    11. Oh I was wrong - you pay, but Posh holds the funds until you accept. The seller does not get paid, and Posh has the $ to refund you.

    12. If it was not disclosed and there are stains you will get a refund.
      Don’t worry!!!

    13. Just make sure you get in touch as mentioned above, before the third day. The sooner the better.

  2. Madewell extra 20 off sale. My store didn’t have anything I was interested in but online I ordered the rainbow stripe pull on shorts, and a cotton balloon sleeve sweater. Reviews said it’s 100 percent cotton and it’s a chunky knit with some pretty detail. I could always use something like this if the fit works.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the shorts cancel as they disappeared after I ordered but who knows.
I was also tempted by the Chambray paperback shorts but since I have the Jcrew Chambray tie waist ones I decided they were not necessary right now.

  3. Question for Canadian JCAs: Poshmark.ca has FINALLY launched, have any of you signed up? I signed up today but won’t have time to list anything for a few days. Shipping charges are $12.99, which is high compared to the US, but typical for Canada. I wonder how successful it will be with these higher charges? Certainly will make it difficult to sell lower-priced items, but might be acceptable for bundles.
