J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

  2. No reviews. Two of my three orders from Friday have shipped. They both shipped complete which I’m happy about. Zero movement on remaining order which is 4 pairs of shoes.

    1. One of my shoes from an order shipped. Plus some tops for my husband, and my princess mini. That skirt was not so deeply discounted, but I've been waiting for one to show up in T2 in pink for months. I'd better love it, final sale.

      Dangly Star earrings I got for myself and my girls shipped.
      I ordered the indigo striped trouser shorts in two sizes and those shipped.

  3. I received 3 cheap shirts from last week’s sale today. I was surprised and disappointed to see a “J.Crew 365” label. Is this a factory brand? It’s very similar to Brooks Brothers’ factory brand, 346.

  4. Everything has shipped, including orders I placed when the promo changed. There was a decent sale update and 30% off sale was still stacking. New orders will arrive by Saturday and earlier orders will arrive by Thursday. Able to score Ludlow Slim-fit blazer in bouclé wool blend for $58 for my son during sale update. He’s been wanting it to pair with matching pants, so happy for him.

  5. All my orders shipped, even the peony moccasins. I was afraid I would get the ‘sorry, we wish we had enough’ email as it took several days before they shipped. 😅

    2. Mine shipped last night. Hope we are all pleased! Just waiting on those blue/white stripe sandals with the glitter heel, and the liberty flat with bow.

      @Jeanne, were they the perfect shirts? I ordered some in March and that was my initial reaction. I wasn't sure if they were truly thinner or if I was biased because of the tag. In any event, I kept them since the fit was great, and I have worn without incident.

    3. @Cheri @Anne - I’m glad to hear they aren’t factory shirts. I can’t comment on the fit or quality since I haven’t opened the bags yet, but the price was right.

      I wish J.Crew would stop playing with the tags. It cheapens the products with absolutely no corresponding cost saving for the company. I really don’t understand the rationale.

  6. My orders have all shipped as well, including the peony mocs.

    Jeanne, re: the 365 tag, it isn't a factory tag as far as I know but I believe some of their workwear and other 365 crepe items and the tencel tees have this tag, it seems to be some sort of branding. I have a few dresses and blouses that have this tag. For whatever reason they've always played around with different tags for different items (when I worked there in the early 2000s, the color of the tag identified if it was work, casual, etc.) It's similar to how the denim and some casual items have the JCREWJEANS tags in them.

  7. Just my input re the 365 - It's definitely part of the JC main brand and not Factory. I think they are trying to market it more as four season wear (hence the 365). I absolutely love the 365 stretch tops for work. They are so comfortable and wash perfectly. I recently ordered and wore the wide leg pants in 365 stretch and they were comfortable all day long in my desk job AND machine washable.
