No visit for me, but I need to take a lot of things back. I thought about purchasing one of the tees that were 4th of July themed but they have disappeared from the website. Oh well. I don’t need another word tee.
ReplyDeleteI was out of town this weekend and went to a factory store. I found some retail items at great prices. Found the Going out Blazer in black which has been sitting on my wishlist for months for $35 after 50% off sale. Also a pair of Madewell Roadtripper jeans for $35 and three other pairs of Madewell jeans for $15 each. I didn’t need 4 pairs of jeans but for that price I couldn’t say no! Store was crowded but it was a Saturday and a tourist area and the weather was bad.
ReplyDeleteLooks like today's promo works on the Le Specs Entitlement sunglasses. I ordered a pair to try out. If you also have a J.Crew card, it brings the price to almost half off. Doesn't work on the other Le Specs styles though.

DeleteSo I was about to post how I ordered some basics from Gap andmy order partially shipped within a few hours...until I realized they did not use my default address (which I know because I specifically clicked it!) and shipped three items in two packages to my mom's house 40 minutes away. I called CS as soon as I saw the error and the rest of the order seems to have been canceled, but they said she could just return to a gap or refuse the package. Her mall no longer has a gap and usually packages are just left on her step. Of course we see each other but this is a crazy month for us with moving and being away for kid sports each weekend. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have a Gap package that allegedly shipped 12 days ago and still hasn't arrived!! The other four packages containing 1 item each all got here no problem. Grrrr.

ReplyDeleteTall utility pocket shirt in denim: I like how this is styled but the material is more of a textured cotton than denim—it's not denim. I ordered the tall size and the length is on the long side for me, I might have been able to go with the "classic" but it's not what I thought it was so even at the current low price i think it's going back.
Pull on short in cotton twill: I ordered this in the moss color and as reviews mentioned the waist runs really big. I don't think I want to size down because I don't want them tighter elsewhere so I might just deal with the slightly awkward fit. I ordered a second pair for my daughter and it's the same for her and you, if you have a big waist to hip difference as we do.
Tie sleeve sweatshirt: not a sweatshirt. It's a thick knit top. I sized up to a small because sweatshirts are usually really tight across my upper back it fits Boxy as expected. I really just got it to be comfy cozy so I'm on the fence even though it was under $15. I'll have to try on with some shorts and jeans and see if it's worth keeping in my summer tote as an extra layer.
