This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
I was out of control this weekend, both online and in store. Final sale calmed me down some, but at times the prices were too good to pass up. My 4th of July Haul includes:
ReplyDelete*Sophie Crossbody in Henna - $129.99
*Sunburst Skirt in Navy - $49.99
*Cleo Metallic Suede Loafers - $79.99
*Emma Studded Toe Ballet Flats in Chambray - $69.99
All prices before the 50% discount.
I'm going to sit down somewhere and catch my breath before the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins. Count me out for the small mid-month launch this Wednesday and the larger August launch, which rolls out July 23rd. I will live vicariously others' purchases.
Hi Mel, the next big roll-out is not till the 23rd?! How will I survive waiting for 3 weeks?? :)
DeleteI thought it would be this Wednesday since the promo ends tomorrow. Then I thought maybe the 16th...
Anyone have a different roll-out date/new style guide?
I know :-) Those are the online rollout dates. The stores may receive either merchandise or the August catalog earlier. Also, the August preview should be up on Pinterest on July 21.
DeleteI visited as well. Star print silk blouse (reviewed on my blog) and white cargo pants, both at 50% off.
ReplyDeleteI noticed a few new sandals in the sale section.
I picked up the lace shift dress (a8182) in neon citrus for $29.56 (with my educator discount applied). I am thrilled to get this at such a steal -- it's a beautiful dress! Happy JCA I am...
ReplyDeleteWhoa! How did you get it for so cheap?
DeleteYes, lot's of great items on sale; settled for the tennis white dress that I'll hopefully get to review tomorrow. Some nice arrivals for collection items but the prices are scary
ReplyDeleteGood morning! This is off tangent, but I have been eyeing the Parker and field boots. I haven't seen either in person. I'm concerned about the quality of the leather. Is the leather paper thin, cheap feeling or more supple like Madewell's archive boots?
ReplyDeleteHave not seen the Field boots, but the Parker boots are made of a quite substantial leather, certainly not paper-thin. I have a ridiculous collection of JC boots and have always been pleased with the leather quality - I would assume both pairs you are considering are equally good. Not sure how they compare to Madewell's though.
DeleteI ordered the field boots in both colors last week. I should be receiving them tomorrow. I will report back! :)
DeleteThank you, Stacy.
DeleteHi cmg! I responded to your post on my blog moments ago, but I highly recommend the Field Boots. I own these boots in black and kindling. The quality is superb and the leather wears extremely well. I hope that helps!
DeleteI went to the outlet on Saturday...my store was sooo picked over. I left with a cotton pencil skirt in spearmint ($16 with the 60% off clearance) and a few things for my husband. I shopped a bit of the online sale too and purchased the eyelet shift dress in kiwi and the navy origami dress, both which were available in tall lengths.
ReplyDeleteOT, does anyone happen to have a code for free shipping or $/% off at Garnet Hill? I checked the usual sites already and nothing...
ReplyDeleteWas bored just now and browsed through the sale section. I also just bought the gauze maxi skirt for ~$23. Sippin that crewlade
ReplyDeleteBoredom did me in, too, while my boyfriend was channel-surfing last night...ended up buying another cashmere getaway hoodie (which fits me tts) and the white Nolita denim jacket. Should've just read my book and saved myself some $$$.
ReplyDeleteThat is the huge drawback about online shopping; its advent must have put plenty of people, who wouldn't normally be there, into debt! My credit card bills (esp my JC bill!) are so much higher when I have rough days with my kids -- there is absolutely a direct correlation!
DeleteDoes anyone know how much the Embroidered floral racer dress is in the store now?
ReplyDeleteI paid $29 for the pink flamingo floral last Friday ($69 before 50% off sale and my student discount). However, when I called today to ask if the black floral was in stock, I was told that the in store price is $129 before discounts. Not sure why there was a price discrepancy, as both colors are $119 online. Purchase and phone call were to the Willow Bend Mall in Plano, TX.
DeleteThank you Ashley! You got the pink one at a really fantastic price...too bad the black one isn't marked down like that. I would love to get it for $29, but I guess the online price with extra 40% off isn't too bad since it finally popped back in my size. :)

ReplyDeleteI stopped into my local store today and found some great deals. I'm honestly over warm weather clothes, I'm ready for fall so I got some great transitional pieces..
ReplyDeletePeter pan jeweled shirt $25
Cubist merino sweater $25
Lattice popover $15
Merino Tippi in dark purple $12
Navy contrast merino sweater $10
Varsity knit dress $20
Merino mesh sleeve colorblock sweater $15
I also tried on the Lattice pencil skirt which I believe would have been about $18-20 after the discount, but unfortunately it ran way small and they didn't have another one in stock so I passed :(
