  1. This is not quite on topic but still wanted to post this here: a HUGE thanks and a shout-out to fellow JCA Candece, who helped me score a dress I have been hunting for months on Ebay, a white cotton dress with red poppy print that came out in 2001 (!). I desperately wanted to get the dress in the next size up since my figure has changed after having kids. Candece spotted it and left me a message on my blog. I am so so happy!! The JCA community is the best!!

  3. Well, I just have to admit to how much I LOVE and WEAR my cafe capri pants and broken-in boyfriend chino shorts. I suppose you could say I live in either and both all summer long. The cafe capris I wear with every kind of heel height and they always look crisp and chic. Likewise, the boyfriend shorts go to the pool in flip flops or with gladiators and cotton tops to dinner. Love! Multiple color stockpile going on here.

I just got a pair of the Heritage Chinos...love too. I am way into wide legged trouser look, and these rock with heels and wedges. :>

  4. I took a risk on buying the factory lace dress in dark pewter and it turned out to be good purchase. I did have to have my tailor take in the sides a bit to fit me better. But it's a special piece, and yet very wearable. Simple shift silhouette, easy pull-on style with race-back, and the allover lace gives it a delicate touch. Love it!

I've been in love with a few other J Crew lace items too. I have the lace-over tank and the Scallop Lace tank, they're both very pretty and wearable.

  5. Although I've had to return way too many items from my recent orders, I like the new feature that confirms receipt of the return.
