J.Crew Updates Website Today!

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Naomi & Anon at 5:25 AM (in this post), who let us know that J.Crew updated its website (click here). There are new arrivals for men (click here), women (click here), & the J.Crew Collection (click here).
In addition to having new arrivals for men and women, J.Crew also provided the latest catalog online (click here to view). I am all for new arrivals and I can't wait to look through the new catalog (which the cover alone looks amazing)!!!

What items are you most excited about and why? Which items are you surprised to see? Which items did you hope would be included? Also, did you receive the latest catalog?

  1. Loving the new ruffled tissue tees! And the satin trench... Some wonderful items (amidst not too much excitement, overall). The new collection pieces coming out in June are what thrill me the most.

  2. Hi all,

I hate to be off-topic already (although I have to say I LOVE the new arrivals!) but I really need some JCA advice. I finally tracked down a crocodile atelier jacket (#12154) in size 0 and got it with my red card. I have been in love with this jacket since I first saw it, but I am very petite/skinny and have no boobs or curves to speak of. I usually try to stick to more tailored items to give myself a waist, but I couldn't help myself with this jacket.

The jacket is waaaay too boxy on me and I probably would have taken a 00 or smaller if they had it. My question for all you JCAs is: would a good tailor be able to take this in properly, while still preserving the general look/fit of the jacket? I think this might involve something like taking the sleeves off, which sounds complicated. I've never used a tailor for anything other than getting pants hemmed before, so I really have no experience here! Questions #2 and #3 are: does anyone have an estimate for how much this would cost? and does anyone have tailor recommendations for the DC or Northern Virginia area?

Thanks so much in advance! Sorry for the long post, but I really need the help, and I'm hoping my good karma from tracking down/sending out TJ Maxx shoes for people will come in handy!

  3. y'know what I'm totally NOT excited to see? Final Sale is back. That didn't last long.

  4. Only loving a few things, new colors in the garland cami, silk gladiola jacket, and the double serge skirts.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Meh, I was optimistic but nothing exciting for me at these price points. I was hoping for a beautiful, interesting new jacket or two but those little cropped things dont work for me. And when are we going to stop with the ORANGE and Godzilla-size necklaces?

I admit I'm a girly girl and not completely over the ruffles thing yet, but still, it all looks the same, I already have this stuff.

Maybe I have to wait for Fall?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Meh, I already own these things, and $108.00 for the spaced cardigan is way too overpriced.

The Gap has cute cotton cardigans for less money than the glass button J Crew version if anyone is interested.

  7. Curious to see some of the shirts, like the ruffle tissue tee, but I'm afraid it will give me linebacker shoulders. And I'm looking forward to the cotton-silk ruffle tank. But nothing has inspired true love yet. I guess that's good for the pocketbook?

    ReplyDelete
  8. A. That "Spring Sale" lasted what, like two weeks? Stupid Final Sale. All that stuff I had in my cart? I'm dumping it. Pfft!

    ReplyDelete
  9. I love the new tees and pencil skirts! I'm bummed because the updates emptied out my basket and I have to find everything I once had in there (when will JCrew create a wishlist?). Also, not wanting to be superficial, but what's up with the model's eyebrows?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sigh....looks like my love affair with J Crew is over, despite my increasing love and attention. ;-)
I didn't receive the catalogue, and the price points are starting to move beyond my budget to say nothing of the "designer collaboration" direction they're now taking.

  11. From the Malibu thread:

Agh, JC, you're so sneaky. The double-serge skirt was incredibly popular in the fall... so they're offering the new cotton version as online only? Ugh.

There are some pretty things in the new arrivals, but for the first time I don't know if I'll be partaking. No matter how lovely the pieces are styled, all I see when I look at JC now is terrible quality at escalating prices. It's overshadowed their lovely designs.

Hope you ladies find a few diamonds in the rough! I always love to read about what JCA's are eyeing.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thank god they put this up. I was waiting all week for this. I started getting sick of checking for updates every single hour. Now i can enjoy the rest of my day :-)

    ReplyDelete
  13. It's just not new or exciting....

    ReplyDelete
  14. Even with my red card, I didn't buy anything.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It kills me how on page 3 of the new catalog they say "We're consumed by quality..." when we all know that's not the case.

    ReplyDelete
  16. For all you Kentucky girls out there...

I just received a 15% off coupon for the Derby in the KY stores only :) Leave a comment on my blog with the e-mail address if you would like me to forward it to you!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Have to say I'm not all that jazzed by the new stuff; however, there were a few items that caught my eye:

    Perfect-fit short-sleeve scoopneck tee (15429)
    Silk gladiola knotted jacket (14992)
Summer linen button-tab jacket and skirt 14974)-- super fun in shocking pink-- hope it ends up 70% off on final sale at some pt!
Embossed-cotton printed Lorelei dress in clover (11123)
Embossed-cotton ombre Lorelei dress (16590) too bad both colors would look terrible on me...

Off to check the final sale-- has it been updated? I wonder...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anon 8:06 - I know!!! It's like the description for the "cutwave dress" (15193):

"Our designers crafted this dress with immaculate precision, all the way down to the exposed zipper."

Yeah, right - that's called cheaping out and not covering it.

JC, we know and you know that your quality is on a rapid decline. Here's a thought - just don't mention it. Draw more attention to the styles and colors, but don't play the "we obsess over quality" card - if you were obsessed (or even cared), you'd know that it sucks right now and be really embarrassed about it.

  19. I see several things I really like. Anyone know when the rewards cards will be coming out?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Does anyone know if they have the new arrivals in stores yet?

    ReplyDelete
  21. some of the new stuff looks pretty cute imo... but what happened to all the jewelry?! the necklaces look like they have gone crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  22. and lol, did you guys click on the "happy mother's day" pictures in the women's section? some of the pictures are funny!

"her prettiest outfit is the cupcake."

LOL! go look! it's cute and funny!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I like the double serge pencil skirt in bronzed twig and dark slate... nothing else has really popped out at me, but maybe I'll see other things I like in subsequent views...

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am obsessed!!!! Beautiful new things! I just ordered the chandelier necklace and some dresses and tops! Still loving the ruffles! And the party dresses are fabulous! I love the silk duponi rosette dress!!!! Happy shopping!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Really disappointed with the new summer arrivals, nothing much grabs my attention. I usually spend alot of money when the summer items rollout but not this year, between the quality and sizing issues it is too risky to order on-line.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Also, at the top of the page it says Free Shipping on Crewcuts.

    ReplyDelete
  27. As usual, I like the colors offered in my spring/summer wardrobe staples like the chino short, slim stretch shirt, and pencil skirt, but I am all set with the frilliness, pinks and other pastels that don't appeal to me. I'm a fall/winter jcrew girl, so I don't go nuts over the spring/summer stuff anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  28. OT - Canadian first Anthropologie store is open!! I was there yesterday - so many cute summer items, and finally can see them first before ordering. A second one is scheduled to open in Toronto late summer. JCrew - you are missing out on your loyal JCAs!

    ReplyDelete
  29. i like a couple of things but what is going on with the Silk dupioni rosette dress for $495.00?!

    YIKES!

    ReplyDelete
  30. love the new silk collection jacket. lots of pretty items! nothing a must have for me tho. I see the dreaded final sale is back.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm disappointed in the online offerings, hoping for better selection of brighter colors at the B&M...

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm a little scared to try it after the twist-strap dress disappointment, but I like the new knit dress with the belt. And i have to say I'm a little intrigued about the mango color--wowee! I'm also loving some of the new ruffled/embellished tees.

Although after being disappointed by the j.crew dress, I hopped on over to Patagonia and found some ADORABLE knit dresses that I'm very happy with.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am loving all the cotton dresses and the floral prints :) The new jewelry though is a little disappointing...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I see two things I like. But will have to wait for them to go on sale. I never buy full price.

I just scored the granada palm cami. My size came up:) Wish it wasn't final sale though. I almost didn't get it. Why couldn't it have shown up earlier??? when the spring sale /returns was on...

    ReplyDelete
  35. OMG. I am so sick of the bland colors. If I see anymore light pewter I will puke. I see things I like and click on the color choices and just want to die!

    My word verification was mundane!

    ReplyDelete
  36. definitely want to order the Embossed-cotton printed Lorelei dress in papaya and i love the Vintage floral perfect shirt but will wait for it to go on sale. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Anon 7:09 AM - I have been using a tailor for awhile now. I asked her once about tailoring some shirts for me that were too big, and she said the only real requirement to fix those would be that the shirt (and by extension, jacket) MUST fit in the shoulders. Take a look at the jacket on yourself and see if the shoulder seems go past your shoulders. If they do, then it will be very difficult to get it tailored the way you want. As long as it fits in the shoulders, a tailor should be able to fix it.

As for price points, I'd call local tailors and just ask. A lot of it has to do with the fabric, the complexity of the work, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Good Morning!

I have 14 new things I LOVE in my cart but can't afford them at full price.

Looking forward to seeing some of them IRL. Maybe this weekend!

Sad about the Final Sale.... :-(

    ReplyDelete
  39. there are some thinsulate jackets in my size for 99 bucks.

think i should pick them up for next winter?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Silver lining, I am also so annoyed that their "best seller" double serge pencil skirt is catalog/jcrew.com only. I wonder why they do that?

I was at my B&M yesterday and there is one thing that appears to be store only that I really love, AND they lowered the price on a new color that came in. It is a cotton pencil skirt with a bow on the front, and previously it only came in aqua and some weird papaya color, now they have bronzed twig. So adorable. But not for $98 when I suspect the cotton double serge pencil skirts are more substantial.

    ReplyDelete
  41. LOVE the new shoes...which is going to be a problem, because I don't think I have the budget for one pair, let alone the 3 I am lusting after. I can totally see myself rocking the Petras (all 3 versions: flat, peeptoe, pump).

    ReplyDelete
  42. Laura from Kentucky -- I don't have a Blogger ID so can't leave this message on your blog, but -- I don't live in Kentucky but I am traveling to Lousville for the Derby and arrive the afternoon of the 30th -- and might just head over to J. Crew. Could you send me the discount e-mail? My e-mail address is annega at microsoft dot com THANKS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I like the new double-serge skirt, the short sleeve cashmere cardigan, the cotton cady alexa dress (although I know this wouldn't fit me correctly), and the harbour oxford capri. Other than that, I feel like I already have some version of most of the items.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I see the coffin-lining clutch #14780 is now available.

    ReplyDelete
  45. There is a seller on ebay who listed the new arrivals(jewellery) 1 month ago ! Even before it hit stores. How is it even possible ???????

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anne G - I am sending you the e-mail now :) Enjoy! And have fun at the Derby!!!

The new arrivals are just ok for me. I already purchased a couple of items at my B&M. IRL pics and video on my blog if anyone is interested.

    ReplyDelete
  47. oooh I really like some of the collection pieces coming out in June! The model could really lose the sneer though, whoah! (on the 2nd photo with the rosettes-on-crack dress).

My store didn't have ANY of the new items of interest out on Tuesday. This looks much more promising : )

    ReplyDelete
  48. Has anyone tried the watercolor skirt in stores? Is it TTS?

    Thanks much!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anon 9:51am "Coffin lining" describes that clutch item #14780perfectly! Another *what were they thinking* item.

And um, the tiered ruffle look (I'm talking about you, Trevi Shell) just isn't flattering on the model - can't imagine it will be flattering on anyone else...though I have a feeling FFM and slastena will be able to pull it off! :)

Not much of anything, save a few pairs of the ballet flats, that I'm all that excited about either. Oh, and any shirt that's "light as air" is probably going to be sheer as air as well. Then again, this must really be boosting their sales on camis.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think those Poplin jackets are going to end up in the FS section.

The Poppy Floral Jacket is wreaking of...well let's just say sooo not my desired look.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Honestly, I don't have the Final Sale page. I still see the Shop Spring Sale pinkish/purplish page. Also, items added to my bag from the sale section do not state FS. What's going on?

    ReplyDelete
  52. I love J Crew but this roll out is boring. Its the colors. I am tired of pewter. I can't wear neutrals well so I was hoping for some brighter colors. Oh well. I do like the knit dress with the belt but I own already two navy knit dresses and a grey one just like the belted dress. Mango may be a bit too much.

    ReplyDelete
  53. ^^

    IRL: I don't either... hmm

    ReplyDelete
  54. I highly recommend the Deco Dots Mini in khaki. It fits TTS. It looks really cute on with a Perfect Fit Corsage Tee in Mushroom or Beechwood (Mushroom looks best).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Anon 10:18 - re watercolor skirt

I had to size down as it runs big. I compared it with the dazzling dot skirt and it turns out the latter is a whole size smaller!

Wonder if other JCAs feel the same...

    ReplyDelete
  56. The watercolor skirt looks nice but I wish it came in petite. 24" is a bit long for me, it will hit right in the middle of the knee.

At least they have shortened the double-serge pencil and it comes in petite too.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks Anon 10:31.

I'm also looking at the double-serge skirt. Can anyone tell me if the tropical aqua is turquoise or does it lean more toward green?

    Thanks much!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Rats On Parade I totally agree. The Trevi shell looks like something a child would wear. They don't give a shot of the back but the copy mentions an exposed zipper. That little "feature" will make this totally look like a homemade project.

    Why J.Crew, why?!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tropical aqua is, IMO, between a turquoise and a mint green. It appears much brighter online than in person.

I was excited about the new arrivals. I love well-tailored, feminine clothes, and thought there were quite a few pretty items in this category. I thought some of the collection pieces were exquisite. I'll be using my red card to get a few things before it expires.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm eyeing the double serge skirt since I didn't pick up the fall/winter version. Anyone know whether it is TTS? (At least, whether the fall one was... I suppose they may have messed with the spring one.) TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  61. hello! I'm so glad for the new arrivals- I didn't see a lot but I do like the: cashmere croquet cardigan ($188) in both the ameythst and melon, and the Summer linen button-tab jacket ($138) in hot pink! Both too pricey for me right now but I'd love to try them on for color and fit.

PS: I still have "Spring Sale" when I click on it. but maybe this will change soon since others are seeing it? I really hope not. I hate FINAL sale!

    ReplyDelete
  62. If the tropical aqua in the skirt is the same as it is in the knit dresses, it is definitely more teal/turquoise than green, imo. I have IRL pics of the tropical aqua knit dress on my blog, if that would help.

    ReplyDelete
  63. No exposed zipper pleaseApril 23, 2009 at 11:09 AM

I really don't see how the exposed zipper is a feature to promote. It certainly takes the polish off a garment. Maybe something that is passable on a denim skirt for a rustic look but not a metallic mini, cami or party dress. Ugh.

Seeing the zipper on the back of the mica mini gave me a flashback of slutty jeans with an exposed zipper that ran from the navel to the back waistband. *shudder*

J.Crew, it is time to get some new designers or at least, fresh ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks all for the advice on the Tropical Aqua color!

AppGal I checked out your blog photos. The color is very nice. Not too green for me.

    Thanks much!

    ReplyDelete
  65. liz - the double serge skirts from last fall did not all fit the same. The bright blue was almost a full size larger than the rest. I have all of them in size 6, 4, and 6P. I picked them up one by one on FS so had to take what I could get.

I am usually a 4-6 in J.Crew bottoms. The two I bought in size 6 were taken in to fit. One was the bright blue and it was huge. The 4 and 6P fit me perfectly, the only discernable difference was the length, the P was a little shorter, but not a mini.

I see the spring version has pockets so I wonder if it is the same pattern modified or a totally new design. I will be ordering in a few days and will post a review once I receive the skirts. Someone else may get them ahead of me because I am waiting until the end of the weekend, hoping for a % off code. Looking at my stacked cart, a discount would be appreciated.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @jcbellemarie - The model was probably told to sneer or look like that. If she wasn't, editing picked the final pic, so the blame's on them, not the model.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I just purchased so much stuff! I brought the new cardigan with the fun buttons in 8 colors! I started crying because I was so excited to see the new arrivals. I think I might open a jcrew card to buy some more. Unfor. i maxed out my current credit card but I need to buy more.

    ReplyDelete
  68. There are a few things I that I might buy like the water floral skirt and the silk georgette suit blouse but I will probably wait for them to go down in price. I also like the soft tee cardigan but I am afraid it might be too long for me. Chandelier necklace is gorgeous. Iam most excited about some of the collection items that will be coming out in June.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I might pick up a few pencil skirts as I think they might sell out of my size. I am a bit sad to see some of the models have gotten even thinner to the point that they look unhealthy....

    ReplyDelete
  70. I like the linen seafront cardigan, garden dress, linen monterey skirt, strapless swiss dot Maya dress. I love the silk dupioni rosette dress but not the price! Also the silk linen rosette cardigan.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anony@11:28

I seriously hope you are joking.

    ReplyDelete
  72. It looks to me that the double-serge cotton pencil skirt is unlined, just by the pickstitching slightly visible at the hem. I have emailed CS to see if that is the case. I will have a hard time paying $98 for an unlined cotton skirt, lovely as it may be. :(

    ReplyDelete
  73. I suspect 11:28 is just trying to start something.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I like the Georgia cardigan. It looks like a lighter, cropped version of the library shawl cardigan which I adore.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Good eye, Anon 12:20. Will you let us know the response from CS? Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The small unusable pockets on sweaters really bother me. Especially when there are multiples of them.

I miss the more vibrant colors as well.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Everything I really like is available in June!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I could be wrong, but I think the double serge skirt is the same as the bow one that came in aqua and papaya in stores last month without the bow. I have the aqua bow skirt and it looks just like that with the pockets and everything. Lots of people on the blog said they liked it better without the bow (even though imo that's what makes it darling) so now's your chance. I (think) my bow skirt is unlined and the fit is tts, which is perfect for me in my normal size because it gives a nice tailored fit, but not too much focus on the booty (as I've found in some pencil skirts).

    ReplyDelete
  79. Like the new colors of the silk garland cami. Can anyone comment on the fit of this cami? Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  80. 1:22 is the bow skirt cotton or wool? Does it fit the same as the double-serge wool skirt from last fall?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Amelia,

I had a Wavery jacket tailored last year. I don't know if you remember this jacket but it was 3/4 sleeved and a bit cropped. And it was quite boxy. I had the tailor take in the waist to give it a fitted look. I loved the overall result even though I probably spent more on the tailoring than the jacket itself (the jacket was on deep, deep, final sale discount!). Still, in the end it was worth it because the jacket looks great. I think I spent about $40.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I like quite a few things!

However, (and I suspect there are many others who feel this way) I don't want to post what they are for fear of shining a spotlight on them, and having them sell out.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Usually it'll say in the description if a skirt is lined, so the fact that with the double-serge skirts it doesn't, that makes me think it isn't - which will make it a pass for me.

Oh, I just despise exposed zippers. It's so cheap and tacky.

    ReplyDelete
  84. marie antoinette - that is exactly what I thought about the lack of lining. It's not always needed in a cotton skirt, but for $98 I expect a lining.

    12:20

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think the weaves on the bow skirt and the double serge skirt are different. Same style, though.

I think the bow skirt fits just like the double serge from last fall. Also, it is cotton.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I agree with whoever said that the models seem to be getting too skinny. Some of them are skinny to the point that they look bad in the clothes. This makes me sad.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Haha, the description says that the merino chiffon-trim cardigan 15272 is "delicate but durable". Care to put a guarantee behind that, JC?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Re: Double serge cotton skirt in new roll-out

It is unlined, per CS. :(

    ReplyDelete
  89. who cares if it is unlined. In the summer when it's hot, why would you want lining?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Not trying to be disagreeable, but exposed zippers may not just be a cop-out. They're kind of a mini-trend I think, for better or worse. It's been going on since before xmas and I guess still continuing into Spring.

    ReplyDelete
  91. went to KOP store today specifically to purchase the cotton silk ruffle swirl tank and they didn't have it yet! i was bummed! It's the only thing I REALLY want from the new roll out. I too am sick of boring colors. That being said, I also like: the tissue ruffle sleeve tee in dark mushroom, (will look great with a long beaded necklace)the linen getaway dress in dark charcoal, (perfect for throwing on for the pool)lightweight gauze Marbella dress ( another great one for the pool)and the short sleeve fine cotton cardigan in melon. Also like the bouquet sash belt in ivory.
and I agree with whoever made the comment about JC constantly stating that they care about "quality". I am a believer where if you gotta keep saying it, then it must not be true:)

    ReplyDelete
  92. I would want a lining in my skirt. Boden puts a very light weight lining in all their summer skirts. It is wonderful and makes for a nice wear with no see through.

    ReplyDelete
  93. A lining helps reduce wrinkles and makes the garment last longer. Usually it will also enhance the fit somewhat, less show-through.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The Maisey jacket is unlined. I was walking outside today and when the wind blew the jacket open, the boning of the jacket was exposed. For a relatively pricey jacket, it should be lined-maybe in lightweight cotton?

    ReplyDelete
  95. what happened to the short sleeve ruffle cashmere cardigan? i had it in my shopping bag and now i can't find it anywhere!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Yeah Em, they are pretty skinny and being thin myself and not fitting into a lot of their size zeroes I know that they must be pinning and clipping tops and pants to make them look a certain way...because they certainly don't fit many skinny frames unfortunately.

I really want to use my red card but I'm not dying for anything. Believe it or not I like the boyfriend sweatshirt, hehehe. It's practical, what can I say?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anon @ 5:29 - where is the boning in the Maisey jacket? Why on earth would a jacket need boning?

I think it's less important to have a lining in some jackets because you usually wear a shirt underneath. Certainly a lining is better, but would be a negative on some, like jean jackets for example.

    ReplyDelete
  98. You need a lining on summer/cotton skirts because otherwise they are see-through in the sun or with a light shining behind them. If this does not bother you, go for it. Some of us don't like to expose ourselves.

    ReplyDelete
  99. is anyone done with their red card or haven't used it and would like to share??

    Thanks!!

    ReplyDelete
  100. I am slowly warming up to this new collection. I like the variety of color options for the silk garland cami, but even with my red card, I doubt I will be purchasing it. I am eyeing the harbour oxford capris. I don't have any pants in that shade of blue, and they are pretty neutral option. I just wonder how long it will take for these to go on sale...

Hello, can you tell me if item 16751, the double-serge cotton pencil
    skirt, is lined or unlined?

    Thanks,
    XXXXX

I kinda doubt that it is really lined because I can see the hem stitching. And a previous poster said she talked to CS and they said it was not. I guess we'll know for sure once they start arriving and hopefully people will post.

  102. I'm very disappointed, I was really hoping for some color for summer. I guess this just isn't my year for JCrew...I am sick of the ruffles and I can't wear pastels...so it doesn't leave much.

  103. Site is incredibly slow for me right now. I finally get home from work and want to check out the new arrivals online and the site is just crawling along. :(

  104. I'm not overwhelmed, but I am curious about some items: dressy jersey belted dress (I love knit dresses), chandelier bracelet, fine stripe cardigan, harbour oxford capri, and a couple of crewcuts items for my niece. I have the watercolor skirt waiting for me to try on Saturday. Hope I love it!

  105. I give the whole new collection two thumbs down.

  106. A bit O/T, but for any smaller lady (size 0, 2P, or smaller) looking to replicate the men's belt on the cardigan/jacket/dress look, the boys' vintage jeans belt in large worked for me (without having all the extra belt to tuck in), and I can even wear it with my jeans and cords (on the very last hole!)--and at $21 with the red card discount, it is certainly more palatable than the men's version.

  107. The #%&*$#! Harbour Capris are already selling out! No blue size 6s left. Man!

  108. Anon at 10:03- I just checked the website and there were size 6s left, but no size 2s. I love these. I will be so disappointed if I can't get my hands on them. They are the only item on my must have list.

  111. Pakcola,

I am waiting to make sure an order that I placed in store comes through and then I will be done with my red card. No one put my name on it although they wrote the number from the the back to do a store to store order today. As soon as I confirm that the dress has been sent, you can have the card. My email is lannjenner at yahoo.

I'm not too short but definitely small in the torso. Thanks for the money-saving tip!

  118. To be honest, I'm most excited about the June items shown in the collection preview.

I have not been to impressed with the March / April / May offerings. Oh, well - I guess these items are for someone else.

  119. 10:03 Why don't you call a B&M? I tried those pants on at my B&M in Scottsdale, AZ today - size 6 in blue. HTH

  122. I picked up a few new release items yesterday. I bought the watercolor skirt, still deciding whether I love the print. I bought it in my normal size although some had said it fit big. I tried on the white linen skirt with ombre yellow bottom. I loved it, but I can't abide how badly linen looks after you sit for even a minute.

I ordered the double serge pencil skirt in aqua. I am excited about that color for spring and summer.

I agree with the first poster cinnamonruffles that the new collection pieces coming out in June look great. I looked through the Collection feature on the website and I already know I'm going to want to preorder the chiffon trellis tank. I called today to do that, unfortunately they SA did not have any information on it.

I see the short sleeved cotton cashmere ruffle cardigan is already sold out! So glad I didn't wait for a sale on that one.

  123. I just came back from my B&M. They only had three items off my wishlist. I am really tempted to use my Red Card before it expires via a PS plus get the free shipping. My head keeps telling me I will get a deeper discount if I wait a few weeks to see if the items will be discounted further.
I don't understand why the Rattan Clutch is 48.00 in store but 68.00 in the new catalog.

  124. Hi - Has anyone tried on the ribbon cut-wave dress? It irritates me that for $275 the zipper is exposed in the back (I think that looks cheap) but I love the dress and have been looking for an edgier, warm-weather, little black dress. So I'm trying to look past the zipper disaster and rationalize it. What does the dress look like on, and what is the fabric like in person? It is as pretty as I'm hoping or is the whole thing cheap-looking?

    Thanks in advance!
