Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Happy New Year JCAs! Received a couple of emails that orders will be shipped soon. My final 70% off sale orders, so fingers crossed everything ships. Still waiting on a couple of additional orders to show up that have been "processing" at UPS since 12/30. Who knows?! Also, more J Crew store closings happening. J Crew at West Village in Dallas closes on 1/24. Not surprising that this store is shuttering; was never really busy and most of the foot traffic depended upon restaurants which are closed or 50% capacity.

    1. Happy New Year! I received so many shipping notifications today, gotta admit, didn’t think they would all ship and the items I really wanted made the cut so I’m pleasantly surprised! Sorry to hear of any stores closing but not surprised. Who else thinks they may remove their B&M presence?

  2. Chicago resident here: just received my catalog... today. Going to try to call my local store, but I have no idea if they will accept my pleas to possibly use the coupon on new merch this week. Is there any way to show when you received something in the mail? There isn't a postmark on the catalog :(

    1. Unless you’re me you could get lucky with a call or chat!

    2. Try calling, it's more personal and harder for CS say no to the nice voice on the phone than to words in a chat window.

  3. Happy New Year JCAs! Here's hoping that 2021 is a lot brighter for everyone. :)

Does anyone have any sizing info on the Colette pumps? I'm stalking the Colette bow pumps in Stewart tartan (Item AT872) after spotting them when browsing the sale section. I'm usually a 8.5 at J.Crew but have had to go up half a size for most of the pointed toe flats. There are two reviews that say they are tts but as they have a pointed toe I'm wondering if I should try a 9 instead of an 8.5. TIA. :)

    1. I am an 8.5 and I almost always need to size down in pointy toed heels. I had bought several Elsie pumps and had to sell them all, they slipped off my heels! I would ask CS to waive final sale if possible.

    2. I am a 10 and always need to size up in pointy heels. Otherwise they pinch my toes! I would also ask CS to waive final sale if possible, or let you order 2 and return one.

    3. last time I tried the Colette pumps I had to size down a 1/2 size which is rare for me at J.Crew. agreed re: asking them to waive final sale.

    4. Thank you so much everyone, sounds like I should start off by trying both an 8 and an 8.5 in these. And I'll definitely be asking CS to waive final sale. As always, it is so awesome how helpful everyone is on here!

  4. Also had to size down in Colette’s last time I tried them, which was probably 2 years ago. I am ALWAYS a 7. Boot flat, pointy, sneaker, open... These I needed a 6.5

    1. Thanks. It sounds like these run large for the majority of JCAs, so I'll try my normal size and a half-size down first. I do love the shoes, hopefully they work out!

  5. Today, with the fast way of life that everyone leads, credit cards have a huge demand in the economy. Persons from every field are using the credit card and people who are not using the card have lined up to apply for one. Thanks for discussing your ideas on credit cards. Helicopter Tour
