  1. Cardlove 20% is back! Could not apply it to cashmere although it’s not excluded! I may do chat later or wait for sale! Lol

  2. Yes, this seems to be a good time to buy a coat. I was deciding between the velvet trimmed lady coat and the ladycoat in shimmer tweed but went for the velvet trimmed.

I also got the snakeskin Willa boots which I had contemplated earlier but since I ordered two pairs of Everlane snake boots I wanted to try I didn’t want to over do it. The Everlane boots didn’t work so these will be a more reasonable fun addition, I hope. I had sold the cap toe snakeskin but I like the wood heel on these so we shall see...

    1. I have the calf hair Willa ($11 with $10 coupon+72% discount) and find them comfortable for heeled boots. Not comfortable like Nordic boots, but the heel is stable and they are wide enough. If you have a narrow/low volume foot you could probably wear a thicker sock.

    2. Are they leopard calf hair? I’m trying to remember if I saw them.
My feet seem to be relatively narrow (although I never considered them narrow) so the fit should be fine. I have a hard time with socks and boots, they always slip down. Sometimes I find it more comfortable to go sockless...we shall see

    3. Yes leopard print calf hair willa with a back zip. You may need a pair of sock garters! They were a thing before elastic became common in socks. Though I guess they were for men, since women didn't wear pants before elastic became common in socks.

  3. I still cannot add cashmere or PJs to my bag. I cleared my cache and history still no luck.
OT, madewell has stock sale again. And Ratuken is 10% cash back.

  4. Came here to say the same about CARDLOVE :) hooray!

I also have a combo love/slight vent - I ordered a chateau parka back in December when they were on promo for $150ish and used my $50 off $150 coupon. Sizing didn't work so I waited for them to come back in stock to reorder. I called CS last week and they price matched and shipped me a new one - only to have it tagged final sale. I'm sure it's probably ok if I need to return it.

I also asked CS to match the 70% off sale for an item I'd ordered during the buy 3/get 70% off and ended up being out of stock. It popped back, I reordered and they price matched no issue. I have had several of the "wish we'd had enough" emails lately which is sad but taking it as a sign that I really didn't "need" it!

  6. So, I just got the Regent blazer in wool flannel in red in my size! For $103! I stalked it for months and it was never on sale when my size was available. Then one magic day...

Ok, so now it's in my hot little hands. It's gorgeous. Gorge gorge gorge. The problem is - I have no idea how to style it. I am 5-2, and it's longer than my normal blazer. How do you wear this thing? It looks a little funny buttoned.

    1. Shorter skirts, pencil skirts, or slim pants/jeans should keep good proportions.

    2. For some reason I find boyfriend jeans work better for me with slightly longer blazers than skinny jeans. Not too wide, but not so skinny that my legs look like toothpicks below. Or a slim but not skinny pant.
You kind of have to play with the proportions. Take pics with the automatic timer on your phone. I know it sounds silly but I do this all the time so I can refer to my pics.

    3. I loved wearing mine with slim cropped pants or jeans and either a blouse or my winter go to was a Tippi and Regent with jeans and heels/ankle boots. I prefer a closer fit though so that's just me but I have worn my Regent blazers with both slim jeans and more boyfriend style as well.

Are you talking about the red ochre color? It's so pretty (and in stock in my size, you're tempting me to order even though I'm still WFH for several more months!) I am a big Regent fan, enjoy it!

  7. I received my Cameron tuxedo pants! Took my reg 2. They are small and not lined but I do like them so will look 4. Not like my reg Cameron pants! No stretch!
Wish they were lined! But will try Sz 4.
