Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING/SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Went to the Century City J Crew location and their sale section was pretty good on skirts. It was mostly regular knit tops however.

Did a review on 3 sale skirts here: www.aprettythought.com

Also headed to the J Crew factory store in Desert Hills. Disappointing mostly. They had a few bright pencil skirts which were nice, but that was pretty much it. Nothing good in the sale section.

    Hope that helps!

    1. I like the sunflower bracelet, too...got the blue one last week. It's a lighter blue than I expected, but that's no big deal. They're such a nice size.

    3. I got that sweater in the heather chalk colour and I am wearing it right now and love it. I would wear the copper one in the fall.

  3. went to my b&m. Same stuff IMO in the sale section. Nothing too fascinating, but I'm not looking for much. The Olympia sandals are on sale for $99.99 in beige. My store had lots. In the new stuff, I really liked the chambray blouse and a red cotton/silk patterned popover. But no way am I paying FP. Also, really liked the eyelet tanks. I love that higher neckline on them. Hoping to get one in red.

  4. I was at the SLC Fashion Place location on Friday and picked up a pair of the city fit denim trousers for $29.99.

I have a really hard time finding pants that fit (and aren't dragging on the ground), but they are made of awesome!

  6. No store visit for me, but I did score the black & white striped blouson dress on popback this morning. Not happy about paying $99 for it but I've wanted it for so long that I just bit the bullet. Happy Monday to all!

  7. Picked up a couple of pants at the Roosevelt Field B&M - the Minnie in British Khaki and the Wool cafe capris in Yacht Blue, both on sale. The sale section was pretty much the same as online, read, not to exciting.

  10. My first bad experience with J.Crew phone customer service. I meant, you produce a faulty item and then have the hide to intimate its MY fault? Andrew, whoever you are, your tone of voice was rude and condescending and I hope to god I never have to talk to you again. Whew. I feel better now :)

    1. You should definitely e-mail the 24-7 address if you have a complaint. I did that last year with photos of the problem and was issued the credit for the item immediately.

  11. Probably OT, but just wanted to share that the SA at my Factory let me know that the summer line will be arriving in about 2 weeks (18th-ish, she wasn't sure). I'm bored of the spring line myself, so I'm ready!
