ReplyDeleteI just got back from a trip to the Pleasant Prairie Crewlet. Nothing amazing, but I did conclusively decide that Crewlet denim fits me better than retail stuff. They had some cute black toothpick ankle jeans on clearance for $21, so I took home a pair of those and the dark denim rinse (for about $34) to see which I prefer.
ReplyDeleteThey also had some newer v-neck, 3/4 sleeve cardigans with pretty buttons that I didn't see there 2 weeks ago. I picked up a pretty neutral beige one for $34.
Plenty of stuff on the clearance racks, including the much-discussed print blazers.
I was in Malibu this past weekend visiting "Adamson House" (was featured at Martha Stewart Living)
ReplyDeleteand I saw a sign, J Crew across the street. So I could not resist checking the store, hoping to find rows of sale items.
To my surprise, the store looked and stocked (very little) like an upscale boutique.
No sale section at all...
Does any one know why this store in Malibu set up different from other B&M?
I should have just gone to the one in Santa Monica...
I was at a B&M in Columbus, Ohio on Friday and all necklaces (except those in the jewelry case) were $10 off. I'm not sure if the special is still going on this week.
