Yes, it is that wonderful time!
A big "thanks!" goes t0 Eyes, who is super nice to share with us that J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code HB567L. This offer expires 7/5/10.
P.S. I have noticed that other blogs & websites post J.Crew codes & coupons *after* this blog does. If you happen to get codes & coupons from the JCA blog & post them at your site, could you please give give a "shout out" to the JCA blog? This way more JCAs are inclined to share. TIA! :)
Thanks alot for that! Now I don't have to actually commute to the nearest store to find the things I want.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Alexis! You just made my Friday. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the code! I purchased the Cashmere zip pocket cardigan in lagoon green and the Tissue sequin tank in pearl. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am officially shopped out this week!
Yea! Thank you;) Just ordered several boatneck tees, the striped always cardi, a frances and jackie cardigan.
ReplyDeleteIf you call and want to exchange something, then shipping is free and you can add anything to the order with no shipping charge.
ReplyDeleteSorry if this has been mentioned before but I was perusing the new catalog and couldn't help but notice that one of the male models has a giant bulge in his pants, check page 50. What the??!! I'm shocked!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a code!! I'm giving the Sailor-stripe always cardi a try, along w/the chiffon tiered tanks. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteOT: Can't remember if anyone was looking for this dress, but there is a Flowy Jersey Bateau dress, size small, in navy ending soon on eBay. It's not my auction (i'm still looking for xs!) but thought I would pass it along! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160448481558&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1154
ReplyDeleteI picked up the sailor stripe always cardi in white and two sizes of the silky linen slouchy pants. I saw somethins similar in a recent Loft ad and thought that if that style was going to work it's way into fall, I might give it a go. Plus, they look so cute on Gigi! Thanks for the code, this site is my first stop before I place an order :)
ReplyDeleteOff topic but does anyone know if they are going to carry driving mocs again?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore J. Crew, therefore I absolutely adore this blog!!!

Debby,
ReplyDeleteNot all CS reps will let you do that. It is usually exchange for one item (if that is the quantity) and it has to be the same in color or size only. Had a recent experience with that....
can this be combined with the 20% off Tshirt promo? THANKS!
ReplyDeleteah i have an order but unfortunately it's not over $150!
ReplyDeleteGenny... Yes, that's what I meant. Let's say I exchange a small for a medium tank, then they will let you add other items to the order and not charge any shipping for the whole thing. I've done this several times.
ReplyDeleteI saw the cashmere zip pocket cardi for $99 and had to order. I'm going to try the shimmer crinkle shell too. I have about that in returns from last promo, so that's how I justify the crewlade...
ReplyDeletedebby,
ReplyDeletethat is nice. I was told exchange for item only. No add ons. Would have to place a new order. Told that was policy now.
OT: I know there was talk awhile back about Bensimons when JC began carrying them online. Piperlime currently has several colors for $29.99 - 39.99 (womens), but they seem to be moving fast. I just placed an order for taupe and dark gray.
ReplyDeleteGenny- the inconsistency between cs reps is crazy because twice this week I've called to exchange an item for size and they have asked ME if I wanted to add anything to my order. Day before yesterday, I added two tees that are on promotion and used my educator discount.
ReplyDeleteI always get asked to add-on when I am doing a phone-order exchange. It's a nice a offer.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone tried using this code for phone orders? I just tried to do that and CS said it wasn't working. I've never had any trouble using these FS codes by phone. I usually prefer to just order by phone so they can appply the FS and my student discount at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI've been peering at the tees page trying to figure out if there's anything worth "collecting" (as every other description contains phrases like "one of a kind" "specially designed" blah blah) and there's just nothing. I still have my half dozen tees and tanks that were "curated" (hah) during winter final sale. Gentle cycle, lingerie bags and woolite are what's keeping my tees from falling apart. I see that the free ship code ends July 5th. Is this an indication that there will be a new collection being rolled out, and that there will be a % off sale WITH free ship that week? hmmm....
ReplyDeleteAside, JCA thanks for blogging and posting all these great tidbits! I'm so inspired I've started blogging myself. A total beginner :)

Thanks for the code! I have to return so much from my last few orders I felt okay about ordering again...
ReplyDeleteI got the featherweight cashmere cardi in navy, chiffon tier tank in dark pewter, petite stretch minnie pant in what i HOPE is finally the proper size, and the sequined starlet tank in pearl.
Hey, I know that this has nothing to do with the J. crew coupon code, but does anyone know if the J. crew in brea closed down? I went there today and everything was gone and the store was covered with white paper! I was in shock :O
ReplyDeleteOT: Heather, thanks for the Piperlime tip. They're also doing a 20% off promo if you give your email (put STAR into the search box and it will bring you to a screen where you enter info and get a code.) I got the dark grey Bensimons, too, for less than $25, which is much less than Chucks are going for lately, and the no minimum free ship is grr-reat! I may get the purple later, if the grey are really comfy.
ReplyDeleteI'm not planning on ordering anything from JC with the promo, since I had to return almost everything from my last order. I returned the two silk camisoles, since they're see-through thin, the siesta dress went back due to odd fit and general crazy-lookingness (that garish trim, yeesh!), and the ruched v-neck was relatively nice, but the armholes were almost to my natural waist and the fabric was really thin on that one, too. I kept a Jessie dress, even though both fabrics used are thin, since the fit is nice, a charcoal Jackie, and some CC. At this rate, it really should be my daughter who posts here since she's wearing the Crew most often, ha!
Michelle, yes, the Brea store did close, that was why they were offering 50% off final sale. Except that they were mostly the big sizes left.
ReplyDeleteOT but on the topic of bensimons :)
ReplyDeleteIs the dark grey listed on piperlime closer to black or grey? I called CS about it because I'm really looking for a black sneaker, but the woman I spoke with didn't have many answers.
Any help or if anyone owns these would be great!
Ashley, my Bensimons haven't arrived yet, but from the pics I'd go with the Almost Black over the Dark Grey if your size is in stock since the "Dark" doesn't look very dark on my computer.
ReplyDeleteBoy, from the reviews they seem like a total love it or hate it shoe!
