NOT a love. The outfit they are using to advertise the "Wedding Guest Shop" is just astonishingly atrocious. A smocked crop top, puffy square-toed flat cage sandals and fishnet straw tote?! The model pic is even worse than the flatlay, although it doesn't include the shipwreck-chic bag... https://www.jcrew.com/s7-img-facade/AY674_BK0001_d4
ReplyDeleteThat’s not a flattering shot.
DeleteI think it’s cute in theory but I wouldn’t want to have that elastic all around, nor would I want my entire midriff exposed. Summer party maybe, but wedding guest? Plus just looking at the fabric and all the elastic makes me itchy just thinking about wearing that in hot weather.
Bad picture I agree.
DeleteThe image with the white looks much better, but I'm not a fan of female guests in all white dresses at weddings.

PBanos! I have been wondering about you, almost reached out via IG. glad to see you here.
DeleteI agree about the white. I like white summer outfits but would never wear white to a wedding. I know some people are against black wedding attire but being from NY, that’s what I typically wear, but never would I wear white top and bottom unless the wedding hosts requested it.
@Sux Has I've been wildly busy working, and helping out family. Hopefully both calming down.
DeleteI ordered the wide leg seersucker pull on pants in my usual S. The red/ivory color. Cute for working from home or casual. Fit is good for my large thighs. Didn't actually wear yet because it's so crazy hot here that the only option is shorts or a sleeveless shift dress. And that is inside!
Thanks for reporting back, last I checked they sold out.
DeleteCanada finally a promo. 25% off.
